So you've all heard of Henrik Mikaelson, but what of his twin sister Nora Mikaelson? No, well she died as well. Because of the werewolves. She had sneaked out the same night as her brothers Henrik and Niklaus. Ayana, found her close to death the next morning and did a spell. Which would insure one day Nora would return, reincarnated. Except, there was a consequence. Each reincarnation was cursed, not to live past the age of twelve. Just like the Original.

Nora was first reborn in the body of Ariel Petrova. Second younger sister of Katerina Petrova. She died shortly before Katerina became pregnant. In fact it was the death of her baby sister that lead Katerina into the arms of the man who got her pregnant. Anyway Nora died of tuberculosis, which had no cure back then. But now can be treated with antibiotics.

Now she has been reborn again, in the body of Lillie Gilbert. On October 22nd the year 2000. The younger sister of Elena and Jeremy Gilbert. She currently eight, turning nine and aside from her parents death. Was living a happy, healthy life. With no knowledge that she'd dead in three years. Unless they found a loophole or break the curse placed on her.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves. This story started when Elena and Lillie find out that vampires exist. They confronted Stefan, but left when he confirmed their suspicion. But now they are at the grill in public, ready to speak to him.

(September 30th, 2009) Lillie's POV

"You didn't have to come Lillie" Elena tells me as we waited for Stefan outside the Grill.

"We're in this together big sister" I tell her with a smile. Stefan joins us.

"You said you would explain everything. That's why I asked you to meet me here. When you Google "vampire" you get a world of fiction. What's the reality?" she asks him.

"I can tell you both whatever you wanna know" he assures her.

"How come you don't sparkle in the sun?" I ask and Elena gives me a look. "What? I'm curious" I tell her and Stefan smiles gently.

"Vampires burn in the sun in real life" he tells me. "Damon and I, we have rings that protect us" he states. Showing us his ring. Which he had once told Elena was a family heirloom.

"Crucifixes?" Elena asks him.

"Decorative" he says.

"Holy water?" she asks.

"Drinkable" he answers.

"Mirrors?" she asks next.

"Myth" he states.

"You said you don't kill to survive" she states.

"Animal blood keeps me alive, but not as strong as Damon. He can be very powerful" he tells us.

"Then how did you put him down?" I ask confused.

"With vervain, it's a herb that weakens vampires and keeps us from compelling people" he explains.

"Why did you let him get involved with Caroline?" Elena asks him. Care is my favourite baby sitter. She always took me shopping when she baby sat me. So it worried me when I saw her hurt at the founder's party.

"Forcing Damon not to do something is much more dangerous, believe me" Stefan tells us.

"He was hurting her" we snap.

"He was feeding on her" he corrects us. "He was able to take away her memories of being bitten using a form of mind compulsion. She never knew what was happening to her. If he wanted to kill her, he would have" he explains.

"Is that supposed to make it ok?" Elena asks me.

"No. No, none of this is ok, Elena. I know that" he assures her.

"Are there any others, aside from you and Damon?" I ask him concerned.

"Not in Mystic Falls; not anymore" he assures me.

"Not anymore?" Elena asks.

"There was a time when this town was...very much aware of vampires, and it didn't end well for anybody. That's why it's important that you both don't tell anyone" he tells us. I share a look with Elena.

"We can't promise that" she tells him.

"Lillie, Elena...Give me today. I will answer any questions that you both have, and when it's over, you both can decide for yourselves what you both wanna do with what you know. It'll be your choice" he tells us.

"Sounds fair" I tell Elena. She nods her head in agreement. We get into her car and Stefan has her drive us to the woods. After about ten minutes, he has her stop.

"What are we doing here?" she asks him confused as we got out of the car.

"I want to show you both something" he tells us.

"In the middle of nowhere?" we ask.

"This...Didn't used to be nowhere. Used to be my home" Stefan tells us. As we reach some ruins.

"It looks so..." Elena starts to say.

"Old? It's because they are" Stefan tells us.

"Wait. How long have you..." Elena starts to ask.

"I've been 17 years old since 1864" he answers and I giggle.

"You're an old man, Elena you have a sugar daddy" I laugh.

"It's not funny and he is not a sugar daddy" she tells me blushing madly. Which makes me laugh more. "God, why did you answer? She's never going to let us forget this" she tells Stefan as I quiet down. But still smile giddily.

"You said you both wanted to know. I'm not gonna hold anything back. Half a century before the boarding house was even built, this was my family's home. Damon and I...We were both born here. The Salvatore brothers, best friends" he explains.

"What happened?" I ask confused. If they were once so close? What broke them apart? He explains how they meet Katherine in 1864.

"You knew Katherine in 1864? Damon made it seem like..." Elena trails off.

"Damon was trying to make you think that I was still heartbroken. He saw that I was happy with you, and he wanted to ruin it" Stefan explains.

"All because you loved the same women 145 years ago?" we ask him.

"She wasn't just any girl" he tells us. He explains how he and Damon both liked Katherine. HOw she had asked once of them to escort her to the first founders ball. "She chose me. I escorted her to the ball at the original Lockwood mansion" he explains.

"The first founder's party. Where you signed the registry" Elena states. I giggle again and she gives me a 'shut up' look.

"I didn't care that I had gotten something that my brother wanted. I didn't even care if it hurt him. I only knew that I wanted her" Stefan tells us.

"So he was upset" I sat titling my head to one side.

"That's the thing about Damon. He doesn't get mad. He just gets even" he tells us. "What Damon wants, Damon usually gets. I didn't know it at the time, but. Turns out that night Katherine was with him, too" he explains.

"So he stole her from you, not the other way around?" Elena asks him.

"Turns out she wasn't ours to steal" he states. "She could control my mind; and Damon's. She compelled each of us to keep the secret from the other. She wanted all of us to be together. Forever. Didn't work out that way, but...Damon and I, looks like we're stuck with each other...Like it or not" he explains.

He pulls out Damon's ring from the ruin. "Is that Damon's ring?" Elena asks him.

"I took it from him, but I have to give it back" Stefan states.

"No, don't, Stefan. Keep it hidden" Elena tells him.

"Elena, you saw how many people died when they got into town. Imagine how many people Damon would kill out of spite, because refused to give him his ring" I tell her.

"She's right Elena, if I don't give it to him, he'll retaliate in the only way that he knows he can hurt me" Stefan tells her.

"How is that?" she asks him.

"By hurting you" he answers.

"The mind control...You said Katherine used. Do you ever do that to us?" I ask him curious.

"No. That necklace, it contains an herb called vervain. It protects Elena from being compelled" he explains. "I wanted to protect you from Damon's influence. But I also wanted to. Protect you from me. Elena, you should never take that necklace off. Because no matter what happens after today, no matter how you feel about me. You'll know that you were free to make your own choice" he tells her.

"Thank you" she says touching it. It looks familiar to me the necklace, like I had seen it in another life. In fact I dream about living in different times. Sometimes I'm in a viking village with six siblings, one of them being my twin brother. Then I was the daughter of a noble man in Bulgaria in the late 1400s with an older sister who looked like Elena. But with curly hair.

"Lillie" Stefan says and I look up at him. "It's time to go" he states. I nod my head and we returned to the car. Elena drives us home. To find Vicki, Matt and Jeremy.

"What's going on?" Elena and I ask. Sensing the tension in the room.

"She's really messed up" Matt tells Elena.

"Lillie, Elena, back up" Stefan tells us and we do so. He approaches Vicki and has her look at him. "You're gonna be fine. Everything's gonna be fine. Guys, take her up to bed. Shut the blinds. She's gonna be ok. Come on" he tells Matt and Jeremy. They nod their heads and lead Vicki upstairs.

"You know what's wrong with her?" Elena asks Stefan.

"Yeah" he answers.

"What is it?" we ask him.

"She's transitioning" he tells us.

"Transitioning to what?" Elena asks.

"A vampire" he answers. "Damon must have gotten to her. She's new. She hasn't completed her transformation yet" he states.

"H-how does she do that?" I ask scared.

"She has to feed on human blood" he answers. I feel sick and go to the kitchen. I get myself a glass of water. Then sit at the table in deep thought. When I hear a door slam. I go back to the living room to see Matt, Jeremy, Stefan and Elena.

"What happened?" I ask confused.

"Vicki just freaked out" Jeremy tells me.

"I'm gonna go look for her. Call me if you hear anything" Matt tells us before leaving. I see Stefan whisper something to Elena and she whispered something back before he left.

"I'm gonna order us pizza" I tell Jeremy and Elena. They nods their heads and I went to the kitchen. I grab the home phone and called the pizza place. Ordering a family size pepperoni for us along with a bottle of Pepsi max.

(Mini time skip)

"That'll be the pizza" I announce and head for the door. But Elena beats me to it and opens it to reveal Damon. I freeze on the spot.

"Jeremy, Lillie go upstairs" Elena tells us. I grab Jeremy's hand and lead him upstairs. We go to his room.

"Do you want to watch Jurassic Park?" I ask him.

"Lillie, I appreciate what you're trying to do. But I should be out there looking for Vicki" he tells me.

"But Aunt Jenna said you and Elena aren't allowed to live me home alone at night" I tell him. He sighs. "I'm sure she's fine big brother" I assure him. He nods his head and the pizza arrives. Elena pays for it and we all eat it in the living room, while watching Jurassic Park.

Before I called it a night. I told Elena my decision concerning the vampire secret. So that she could tell Stefan. I then changed into my pjs and did my teeth. Before calling it a night.
