Lillie's POV

Elena shakes me awake and I notice us in an unknown place. I went to speak and she signals me to be quiet. She takes my hand and leads me out of the room to a hall way. Where we see two people talking. A man and a woman. "How's the doppelganger and little girl?" the woman asks the man.

"Still passed out" the man tells her.

"You didn't touch them, did you?" the woman demands. "If anything happens to that little girl, we're dead" she states.

"Give me some credit. Besides, I don't have a death wish. So, you called him?" the man asks her.

"No, I called one of his contacts. You know how this works" she tells him.

"Did you or did you not get the message to Elijah?" he asks her. I have a flashback to the viking age. Nora ran to a young man with long hair calling him 'Elijah'. Could this Elijah be Nora's brother? Was I going to meet an other sibling from one of my past lives? I tune back into the conversation.

"So that's it Trevor. He either got it or he didn't. We just have to wait" the girl tells him. Oh, so his name is Trevor. Wonder what her name is?

"Look, it's not too late. We can leave it here. We don't have to go through with this" Trevor states. Looking scared.

"I'm sick of running!" she exclaims.

"Yeah? Well, running keeps us from dying" Trevor retorts.

"Elijah's old school. If he accepts our deal, we're free. Especially, since we have the little girl" the girl tells him. Elena accidentally makes one of the boards squeak. The woman looks our way and Elena pushes me behind her. As the woman appeared in front us. Vampires, great.

"There's nothing around here for miles. If you think you both are getting out of this house, you're tragically wrong. Understand?" she asks Elena.

"Who's Elijah?" Elena asks her.

"Your worse nightmare" she states before leaving with Trevor.

"I'm scared Elena" I tell her.

"Don't worry, I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise, we'll go home" she assures me. I nod my head as I hug her. "Lets go see what we can find out from the girl about Elijah" she suggests. I nod my head and hold her hand.

We find her in a room alone boarding up windows. I smile, they can't go into the sun. We get outside and we're free. "Why are we here?" Elena asks her.

"You keep asking me these questions like I'm gonna answer them" the girl states.

"Why won't you?" Elena asks her.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"That's another two and it's Rose" she states.

"You got us, okay? It's not like we can go anywhere. The least you can do is tell us what you want with us" Elena tells her. I nod my head in agreement.

"I personally want nothing; I'm just a delivery service" Rose states.

"Delivery to who? Elijah?" Elena asks.

"Two points to the eavesdropper" Rose says.

"Is he a vampire too?" I ask curious.

"He's one of the vampires, the originals" she states. I frown in confusion, what did she mean by that?

"What do you mean the originals?" Elena asks her.

"Again with the questions. Haven't the Salvatores been teaching you both your vampire history?" Rose asks us. I shake my head.

"So you know Stefan and Damon?" Elena asks.

"I know of them" Rose states. "A hundred years back, a friend of mine tried to set me up with Stefan. She said he was one of the good ones. I'm more of a sucker for the bad boys though" she explains.

"Who are the originals?" Elena asks her.

"Trevor and I have been running for 500 years. We're tired, we want it over. We're using you both to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess" Rose explains.

"Why us?" Elena and I ask confused.

"Because you're a Petrova Doppelgänger. You're the key to breaking the curse" Rose tells Elena. But didn't say why I was wanted.

"The curse? The sun and the moon curse?" Elena asks her.

"Oh, you know your history" Rose states.

"What do you mean I'm the key? The moonstone is what breaks the curse" Elena tells her.

"No, the moonstone is what binds the curse. The sacrifice is what breaks it" Rose explains.

"The sacrifice?" Elena asks as I hug her arm tightly scared.

"The blood of the doppelgänger. You're the doppelgänger. Which means, in order to break the curse you're the one who has to die" Rose explains.

"But that still doesn't explain why Lillie is here" Elena states. Just then Trevor enters the room. He grabbed a board and headed for the window.

"Captivity has made her pushy, eh? What do you want to know doppelicious?" he asks Elena.

"Who were you running from?" she asks him.

"The originals" he answers.

"Yeah, she said that. What does that mean?" Elena asks him.

"The first family, the old world. Rose and I pissed them off" he states. I get flashes of other people from the viking age. Katherine and Lucy said Nora had come from a powerful, that was still around today. Was that family the originals? Is that why I am here?

(Time skip)

After our chat with Rose and Trevor. Elena and I returned to the room w woke up in. Where Elena found a note from Bonnie, that said Damon and Stefan were on their way to rescue us. We were waiting with Rose when Trevor joined us looking scared.

"He's here! This was a mistake" he states.

"No, I told you I would get us out of this. You have to trust me" Rose tells him.

"No! He wants me dead, Rose!" Trevor exclaims.

"He wants them more, especially the little girl" Rose tells him. Nodding to Elena and I.

"I can't do this. You give them to him, he'll have mercy on you but I need to get out of here" Trevor tells her. He goes to leave and Rose stops him.

"Hey, what are why?" Rose asks him.

"We're family, forever" he answers.

"You're scared" Elena says.

"Stay here with them and don't make a sound" Rose tells Trevor. Before leaving the room. About five minutes later she returns with a man in a suit. Elena has me behind her. The man in the suit appears in front of Elena sniffing her neck.

"Human. It's impossible. Hello there" he says with a smile.

"Elijah" I say softly and he notices me. His eyes widen in shock. "Please, don't hurt my sister" I plead looking up at him as I hug Elena. He kneels down and offers me his hand.

"Come here Nora" he says gently. I go to approach him, but Elena stops me.

"Her name isn't Nora, it's Lillie" she states. "I don't care what you do to me, but you can't have her. She deserves to go home to our family" she tells him.

"Rose-marie" he says and she pulls Elena away from me. He then picks me up. "I'll be back shortly" he states and runs out of the room. We appear outside by a car. He opens the back door and places me inside. "Dr Martin please take Nora to our current residents and give her a check up. I'll be there after I finish business here" he tells a dark skinned man with glasses.

"Of course Elijah" he says.

"Elena" I say scared.

"She'll be fine and you will see her shortly" Elijah assures me. "But please go with Dr Martin and all will be explained later" he tells me. I didn't want to leave Elena. But something tells me things are about to get ugly. I might be fine with vampires existing, but I really didn't want to see anyone die or get hurt.

"Ok" I say reluctantly. He kisses my forehead before closing the door and disappearing. Dr Martin drives off. "I'm Lillie Gilbert" I tell him.

"Dr Jonas Martin" he says. "We'll be collecting my son Luka on the way to our destination" he tells me. I nod my head in understanding. The rest of the car ride was silent. Other then Luka and I introducing ourselves when he got into the front seat.

When we got to a motel. We went to one of the rooms and Dr Martin gave me a check up. Before we ate take away. I fell asleep on the couch before Elijah returned.
