Lightning flashed in the dark sky in the Overworld. But the parents of little Jesse Faldara couldn't be happier. Their child had just been born a few hours ago, and he was now asleep in his mother's arms. He had a few brunette curls on his head, and shining green eyes. He was going to be tall and strong, and his parents were proud. "So, what do you think he'll want to be when he's older?" Mrs. Faldara asked her husband. "Whoa, the kid's not even a day old yet, Isabelle! But I'm sure he'll be something great!" Mr. Faldara smiled at his son. Suddenly the door opened, and a child about ten stumbled in, clutching their stomach. "Holy Notch!" Mr. Faldara ran over to the child, who was weak and scarred. "Child, what happened to you?" Mrs. Faldara asked anxiously. "C-can't explain. C-can I s-stay?" the child coughed. A huge cut was in their back and blood stained their clothes. Mrs. Faldara got a bed ready. "T-thank you." the child smiled and hopped in. Jesse was put to bed in the same room. He gave little happy noises as his mother put him in the cot. "Sleep well, Jesse!" Mrs. Faldara smiled and walked out. The other child then got up weakly. They took a look at the baby. Jesse was fast asleep. The child, Frisk, put their hand in front of him. Sure enough, a red glowing heart, a SOUL, appeared. "They reincarnated. That's wonderful. That means all hope is not lost..." Frisk suddenly let out a loud cough. They didn't have much time left. "If this kid can find the other SOULs, then the Underground is saved!" Frisk coughed and spluttered. They smiled and tickled the baby, then got back into bed. "Heh, I'll see you soon, everyone..." Frisk smiled and closed their eyes, letting their breathing stop. The SOUL of Jesse was still glowing. It was ruby red, Frisk's SOUL reincarnated. It's colour symbolised what Frisk and Jesse both had the most.
