The group continued on the path from Snowdin and into Waterfall. What they saw was beauty. It was dark as night, but the flowers shimmered and gave off light like lanterns. As did the mushrooms and grass. They glowed a fluorite blue. After running into and sparing some monsters, the gang approached a bridge where they thought would be a good place to stop. "Hey, I got something from some spiders in the Ruins." Lukas took out a basket. Inside was loads of donuts and cider. "Um... that's Spider Donuts and Spider Cider." Jodie raised an eyebrow. "So? Just because spiders made it doesn't mean it's bad." Aiden bit into one. "Made by spiders, for spiders, of spiders." Jodie grinned. Aiden immediately spat out his donut. "Whatever. I'm hungry." Petra took a drink and donut. Everyone eventually had the courage to eat.

"So, what now?" Jesse looked at his friends. Lukas was observing his soul and bracelet. "So... Napstablook died too..." he sighed. "Yeah. I can't help feeling us being here is making things worse. Maybe we should head back to the Surface and think of a plan. We're drawing too much attention to these monsters." Petra agreed. "Well, maybe we should just keep a low profile. Toriel did tell us don't talk to anybody. We're disobeying her already." Axel objected. Jodie watched the Order with interest. They all discussed their problems so easily. No heated arguments, no stamping their feet or screaming. It was better than she had experienced. She had after all done some pretty stupid things. She had trusted her. She thought it would be OK. But then she did it. Unspeakable things. Luckily she met them. Otherwise, Jodie would be lost forever. These people, even though they were strong, they would never kill or lose control. They were Pacifist. Just like Frisk.

"Hey, do you hear that?" Olivia turned around. She let out a scream. The next thing she knew was a blade across her chest.

Olivia got up. Everyone braced themselves when they saw their attacker. A person in a black hood and cape, holding a knife and smirking. You couldn't see their full face. You couldn't tell if they were male or female either. "You will die. And Queen Cassie and Leader Chara will use your souls." they said darkly. "For what, exactly?" Lukas frowned. "I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise, would I?" the stranger laughed. Flowey woke at that moment. He had been very sleepy recently, he didn't know why. But then he saw the person. He winced at who was underneath it. It wasn't Chara or Cassie. It was worse.  "Go away! Leave us alone!" he cried, trying to sound brave but his voice became a squeak. "Let me think... no." the person grinned.

Cloaked stranger has appeared.

"Hang on, that actually worked?!" Aiden's eyes widened. The person walked over to him. They whispered something in his ear, causing him to go red.

"Leader Chara likes you."

But the way they said it, it was like they had venom in their voice, as if they despised Chara. Aiden felt light-headed. The person who killed his friends fancied him? That was unexpected. The stranger walked among them all, whispering something different.

"We know what you like to do other than redstone."

"You can't stay patient forever."

"Doom comes with that item."

"You failed."

"A hero always needs to pay a price."

The person turned to Jodie last. They hissed in her ear.

"Asgore."

Jodie shivered. The memories came back.

"Consider this a warning."

The person lept away.

Everyone took a minute to process. A few of them understood, the others didn't. "OK. That was creepy." Lukas declared. "Yep. I don't want to stick around much longer. Waterfall is beautiful, but the faster the better." Olivia shuddered. Everyone gathered their things and began off again. Axel suddenly felt like he shouldn't be wearing Papyrus' scarf. It just felt... wrong, as if he was breaking the rules.

Suddenly he heard a yelp. Jesse, Lukas and Olivia were dangling off a cliff. "I got ya!" Petra ran over with Jodie. They hauled up Lukas and Jesse. Aiden made a grab for Olivia. But he missed. She let go.

"Olivia!" Axel exclaimed and jumped down. He grabbed Olivia in his arms as they tumbled down, taking the hits himself. They finally slammed into the ground. It was a field of glowing blue flowers. Diamonds sparkled in the ceiling. "Oh dear Notch... oh my gosh Axel!" Olivia jumped up. Axel sat up. He was bruised and cut, but smiling. "I'm OK. As long as my friends are." he assured. "Thanks for risking yourself for me. I appreciate it." Olivia smiled back. She looked at his green Kindness soul. "You aren't gonna do this a lot, are you? You'll definitely use your fair share of RESETs then!" she laughed. "Just keep out of too much trouble and I'll be fine!" Axel grinned. The others came down. "Holy spirit of Asgore what the heck are you stupid or something?!" Jodie scolded. "He freaking saved her life Jodie!" Lukas said sharply. Jodie frowned. "She could have just RESET if she died..." she muttered to herself. Then she shut up. "So, are you two alright? You gave us a heart attack!" Aiden laughed. "We're fine! I work in Boomtown. A few scratches are nothing!" Axel stood up.

"I'm fine! I work in Boomtown. A few scratches are nothing!" something repeated. "Echo flowers." Jodie sighed. "They repeat the last thing they heard over and over again. Here, let's go..." she started to walk away. The flowers had recorded some things that she didn't want them to hear. But they were already on their way through the fields, listening to the Echo flowers. Jodie sighed again. She followed them, not sure if they would still be her friends after this.
