"My mother cannot marry him!" Arguing with Aro as I'm back at the castle, dad had guards drag me back since when I was gone for over a month he started to freak out "Dad is here and"

"I know you're upset" Aro held up his hands, Demetri is beside me while Felix is protecting my mom "but there's only three more years left of her residency, it'll be fine. Just a few more years"

Shaking my head as I storm out of the room, there's no budging him and if I try he'll use Chelsea to use her gifts on me "Robert" Demetri stops me when I was about to find dad "Robert, I know your angry. I am too. But when your father finds out the truth as will the rest of the coven, they along with Sulpacia will want Aro dead or the very least won't listen to him and will most likely leave the coven"

"I finally have a chance to have her in my life and he's keeping me from her" I feel my tears on my face "and Jane and Alec! Ugh! I can't even look at them" they just left, when Jane heard our mother talking to Elia it made me so upset since how could she just leave? How? I've been told how amazing my mother would have been to me and instead of being happy she just leaves.

When I find my father, he's reading in the library "Dad?" He looks my way "I want to know about mom" He is silent closing the book, I don't think it's that unusual for me to smell like mom since mom has this one blanket she made with her scent on it that I keep. Sure the scent of crispy cinnamon apple pies, caramels and coffee has faded but it isn't completely gone so it won't be unusual "and I don't want some bullshit answer about how I would have loved her since she was Ana amazing mother. I want to know what she looks like, I wanna know why she chose her grandfather's name for me...I wanna to know"

"Your mother was a healer" he calmly said "even though most women, it was seen as...it wasn't considered something women did. Midwifery was the more feminine practice of medicine while men did most of the healing. Your mother's human husband and the twins human sperm donor Warren" he spits his name "was a healer and horrible man. If he didn't get what he wanted he would throw tantrums"

"Did you kill him?" I ask

"Yes" his eyes turn to black "but I made sure he suffered, made sure he understood even a fraction of the pain he caused me and you and your siblings. Your mother's was my everything"

"If you had a chance to be with her again" I ask "would you?"

"Without hesitation" he nodded his head "if I had a chance to be with her again, I wouldn't hesitate to not get her. She belongs here with us, we're her family and home. Family and love was everything to your mother"

After some time I let out a yawn before asking after giving it much thought "Dad? I'm getting tired, can you tuck me into bed and tell me more stories about mom?"

"Really?" Dad asks "you haven't needed to be tucked into bed in hundreds of years"

Hugging my dad "I wanna hear more stories"

Dad sighs "Alright"

In my room Jane and Alec visit seeing this "What is going on?" Alec asks

"Your brother wants to be tucked into bed" the twins look at me suspiciously "and he wants to hear stories about your mother, why don't you both stay too? I know you love hearing about her" The twins come over and be on either side of me as dad sat down and told us how he and mom met "it was dark and cloudy night..."

"I missed out on you tucking me into bed" looking at my mom as she tucked me into bed, I convinced my dad to let me come back to Seattle and go take some college courses but that's since Felix and Demetri are here. That was a lie, I'm not taking any college courses "and you telling me bedtime stories"

My mom smiles placing a hand on my face "I love you Robert" placing a kiss to my forehead "sleep tight my little angel"

"I love you mom" she leaves turning off the lights, even though I'm not tired. Not like when I was a child growing up, I grab a book and thanks to my enhanced sight to be able to see in the dark I read. Looking over seeing Demetri and Felix looking at me "What?"

"You haven't been tucked into bed since you were three years old and looked like a teenager" Felix whispers "you're doing this not just for yourself but your mother too"

"I think the bigger picture is how to get mom to realize Derek is a mistake" I say

"Oh my god" looking over seeing the twins Luna and Grayson here, they run over and join me in bed "you hate him too?" Luna asks

"We hate him too" Grayson agrees "so, Operation Koala is a go"

"Operation Koala?" Demetri asks

"Koalas are cute and adorable" Luna explains "and they bring their prey in with their cuteness before attacking"

Felix scratched the back of his head "I think you're mixing up what they eat, but okay. Apparently human flesh and bamboo leaves are the same" 

While we plan how to get rid of Derek, the twins fell asleep and I liked this. Sleeping with my siblings that I didn't bring them back to their rooms, actually Demetri got Elia who was really tired and when she saw us she ran over to join us.

In the morning, I woke up seeing mom staring at us with tears in her eyes "Mom?" I ask "what's wrong?"

"I'm not sad" she shakes her head "I'm happy, oh I don't want to disturb you but they need to get up" I help mom wake up the twins since man can they sleep, I mean Luna snores very loud. 

At the hospital I keep Elia with me as we help Izzy plan for mom's wedding, part of me thinks she said yes for this Izzy. So that Izzy can live her wedding dream through mom since Izzy has a very high chance of dying. One in ten people don't survive the kind of cancer Izzy has. 

"I like these flowers!" Elia points to some flowers in a magazine.

"Ooh!" Izzy smiles "those are beautiful, so Robert? What's it like living in Italy?"

"It's beautiful" nodding my head "especially this one place where these wild horses would run freely" I had to buy the land since humans and wild horses were in danger "it's hard to explain in person but if you were there in person you'd understand"

"Maybe I'll visit one day" she looks down to Elia "ooh! Lilies! Now these would look super pretty" when these wedding dresses are brought in, mom is paged and I take photos as she tries each one on.

"Mommy looks like a princess" Elia smiles

"Ooh!" Izzy nods her head taking the veil with the tiara, Elia claps her hands seeing mom put the tiara and veil on. Oh my god, mom hates this but she's doing it for Izzy.

"Oh my god" Meredith came in seeing this "I thought...this isn't simple at all. What happened to buffalo wings at the reception?"

"You can't have buffalo wings at the reception" Izzy scoffs "caterers don't even do buffalo wings. Now, we gotta find you a husband because this" she motions to mom "is a miracle. Madelyn and Meredith Grey, daughters of darkness need to find someone because that gives me hope and right now" she sadly says "I need hope since I'm dying of cancer"

"I'm already in the dress Izzy" mom reminds her

After a few more dresses, there are more people and mom lets out a nervous laugh "Doesn't she look so beautiful?" Elia asks

"Like a princess" Lexie agrees. She looks my way "I can't believe you're here, ooh! More nieces and nephews—what's Jane and Alec like?" Mom thankfully isn't in the room since Jane and Alec are a touchy subject "I bet their nice"

Felix bursts out laughing and clears his throat when we look his way "Sorry just the word...nice isn't something I'd use"

"What's with the binge eating?" Felix asks Lexie

"Mark and Derek still aren't speaking to one another" Lexie eats the food that was brought "and unless I can slip a cheeseburger into the OR, I'm not gonna make it"

"Where are they?" Mom demands

She storms out in the dress and Izzy yells "He can't see you in a wedding dress! It's bad luck!"
