She scurried backward, blushing. "Uh... Sorry." She mumbled. "I tripped and fell." Lionpaw just kept gazing at her, his emotion was impossible to decipher. Mudfeather watched them silently from a few tail-lengths  away. Mudfeather seemed to be smirking at the two apprentices and made Brightpaw feel embarrassed. Well, more embarrassed. Mudfeather made no comment.

"Uh... It's fine," Lionpaw mumbled in reply. He looked unnerved. Brightpaw also felt nervous. "Silly rock.." Lionpaw attempted to laugh, but it came out more awkward than anything. Brightpaw stood up straight

"Yeah.... Silly......rock."

"Very silly rock." Mudfeather walked up to them. She put her tail on her daughter's back. Lionpaw looked down at the ground.

"Let's go back to camp," Mudfeather suggested. "C'mon." Mudfeather led the way. Brightpaw stole a chance to look at Lionpaw. He also looked at her.

"Let's forget this ever happened."

"Agreed."

They soon returned to camp. Mudfeather left them in the clearing. The leader looked down at Brightpaw. "Brightpaw come here." Brightpaw felt confused, what was happening? The leader beckoned her forward. Brightpaw moved forward.

"What's happening?"

"You are being made a warrior," the leader replied.

"What? I'm not ready!"

"You are," the leader replied sharply. "Brightpaw from this moment on you shall be known as Brightfur, we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." Brightfur blushed with embarrassment as the clan chanted her new name. She wasn't ready for her warrior name, what was the leader thinking?

"I'm glad she's no longer my apprentice," she heard Blacktooth growl.
