Extra 1

" To tell you my story?" asked a confused Solene.

I nodded.

"Yes, I want to know, how did you get out of control of your pali? How did you meet his Higness the Second Prince Orias?" I asked.

He breathed a long sigh and replied:

"All right, because you're the one asking me Soliès, I'll tell you everything."

"Solene!!!", a man's voice echoed throughout the house.

A young Cynnerian with long blond hair and green eyes turned toward that voice, trembling with fear. He whispered to himself:

"Make a miracle happen, O goddess Clopelia".

The steps creaked under the weight of a rising pachyderm. The said Solène did not wait any longer and risked, that evening, to save himself permanently from his home. He picked up a dress at random and put on it, closing the door by blocking it with a piece of furniture, then threw the sheets tied by the window on the first floor to run away. His face could have looked pretty if it didn't have spots of the color of the sky, in addition to proliferating on the rest of his body.

He climbed over the edge of the window and then slid down the rope. On the other side, he could hear his pali kicking against the door. But when he took three steps towards the garden doors, he ran into a person.

"Solène??", the voice said, surprise.

The blonde raised his head and fell on Tolis, his brother whom he had only seen once at a banquet. He had no time to explain what was happening when the door of the house opened with a loud noise.Polters put a furious step in front of him, an apparent vein on his temple. To say that he was furious was a nice euphemism, he was seething with indescribable fury. Not finding Solene as usual folded back against a corner of his room, he had hurried down the stairs with suspicious sheets in his fist. He became even more angry when Tolis threw his brother behind him to protect him.

"Stay behind Solène."

The blond nodded while squeaking. He clung to his dress to calm the jolts that shook his damaged body.

"What do you think you're doing?, Polters exclaimed with an expression of sheer madness glued to his face.

Protect Solène," Tolis simply said.

All of a sudden, he didn't care about the colossus in front of him. He pulled out his sword and threatened him:

"Be a man, Polters, I'm challenging you in a duel. Take a weapon, come and fight if you are a man."

Tolis' gaze did not waver at all in the face of his furious pali. This one, visibly bubbling with rage, headed home and then came out with a huge ax, as long as a spear and armed with a spade at the end. Solène became pale to its sight, feeling his last moments approaching at the same time as his pali. His brother, meanwhile, had not the slightest eyebrow.

"Narel!" he exclaimed suddenly.

A young man emerged from the bushes at the cleat.

"Yes, general!

- You will be the referee and you will transcribe everything to His Majesty," said Tolis.

Polters became increasingly red, apparently not expecting to be manipulated in this way.

Narel approached and took Solene by the hand, hiding him behind him, then went away with him and counted:

"In three seconds, the duel can start, one, two, three!"

At the last word, the two fighters launched, the weapons collided, making them vibrate and creating sparks.

Polters' weapon may have been more dangerous and this one more massive, but Tolis was quick, sharp and his sharp weapon precise.

So the pali would simply stupidly stir his club in the air, hitting the wind, the older brother dodging each blow. Finally, when the behemoth finally ran out, shaking his ax, Tolis approached and knocked him down with a set of legs, flew his weapon, destabilizing it, and as Polters fell on his buttocks, he pointed his sword at his neck, signaling his defeat.

"You have lost -Lord- Polters, never come near my brother Solène again, slit Tolis with a cold and merciless look on his face, be happy that I save your life".

And upon these words, the general turned around, took his little brother by the hand, dragging him away from this monster and his den, followed by Narel, and took him away from here.

"We'll see how long you can keep him," Polters replied, an unhealthy look on his face.

Tolis grinned his teeth, looking for a solution to protect his brother.

The solution was found. A deal was made between him and the second prince.

Two months later, his brother entered the second prince's care as a concubine. He was temporarily sheltered. For now.
