Chapter 10
I ordered the preparation of a carriage to go to the two people I was to meet. Orias will back up my remarks after I've been here. As I got into the vehicle and set up, Auteur stopped holding and asked me several questions.
"Where are we going? Who are we going to see? Why?"
"You give me a headache, slow down, I'll explain as I go. First of all, we're going to see the Prime Minister of the Emperor to refer the matter to him. Polters also incites political turmoil, making matters worse for the court. Tonight I learned that there was a banquet at the palace. I'm going to go there and discuss this case with Tolis, so I should already have two supporters. And if my information is correct, Polters should prepare a rebellion against the emperor," I concluded my explanation.
"Wait, how did you learn all this? ( ゚Д゚)"
"I have my own sources, you idiot. You think I stood by and did nothing???" I said, rolling my eyes.
Auteur seemed dumbfounded by my answer.
"No, but really you," I chuckled as I chuckled a small kitchen over his forehead.
She frowned before shrugging her shoulders annoyed.
"But, I have never seen you leave to ask anyone for anything ( ̄Д ̄)"
"Just because it's not written doesn't mean I'm not doing anything. A character lives. So even if I don't write your life at times, it doesn't mean there was nothing," I explained.
I saw an "o" of surprise forming on her mouth.
"Well, let's go, with your nonsense, we'll waste time," I said.
Auteur shrugged her shoulders again and eventually followed me without a word as we got out of the vehicle, arriving in front of the 1st Minister's house.
"If my sources are correct, the 1st Minister should be in his office," I explained.
I announced my visit and insisted to the maids on the importance of the case that I had come to postpone. I was eventually made to wait in the lobby before being taken to the minister's office.
When the door opened, I heard Auteur strangle herself with surprise behind me, and I did the same when I saw a well-known head in front of me.
The cynerian had long, shiny white hair, including a few light blue locks scattered all over, slightly light black skin, ruby red eyes, while a braid next to his right ear, the latter pierced with a jade earring, rocked carelessly each time he leaned. He was also constantly pushing back his fringe that fell on his eyes, using his hand on which several silver rings were found, his eyes focused on a report in front of him.
"This description has already been used... (¬ε¬ )"
Yeah, but... I still like it... Haaaa... Alfen... Even in this reincarnation, he was as beautiful as ever...
Auteur rolled his eyes, seeing me with a gaping smile as she sighed. I quickly pick myself up just before my interlocutor raises his head.
"Your Highness Soliès, husband of the second prince, he said, began by putting down his brush and pensioning his head, and this is the first time we have actually met.
- Indeed, Mr. Prime Minister, this husband is delighted to meet Mr. Prime Minister, if I may say so.
- Well, what is the case you want to tell me about? My servants have told me of your persistent insistence. I hope it's important, he's bidding.
- Mister, the case I am going to talk to you about is of the utmost importance. It's about Lord Polters...", I left in abeyance.
Alfen lifted up the leaf's eyes in front of him, put it down, and looked me straight in the eyes, putting his elbows on the table and his chin on his hands.
"Tell me everything, I'm all ears, your highness, he says.
- It may be, sir, that I have some evidence concerning the rebuttals, the rebellion, possible of this lord, I whispered.
- A rebellion? Go on, he invited me.
- Yes, it seems that Lord Polters is preparing an insurrection against His Majesty the Emperor, I confessed.
- Your highness, these are serious accusations that you are making here. However, if it turns out true, His Majesty will be eternally grateful to you, Alfen acknowledged.
- Only the safety of His Majesty the Emperor is important, I lied, give me a day, sir, and I will bring you sufficient proof.
- Well, I'll find out your highness. Does His Highness the Second Prince know?, he asked.
- Ask him, sir, you may be surprised by his support..., i smiled.
- Hmm... I see, thank you, Your highness," he concluded.
I bowed and turned my heels, preparing to leave, when he called me.
"Your highness, he started before turning his head in an embarrassed air, I heard that Lord Polters had visited the concubine Solène, how is he doing?"
I raised an eyebrow, betraying my bewilderment before being struck by a revelation.
Oh? Oh? Oh! Noooo???? Alfen?? You???
I'm smiling pettily.
"Perhaps you could visit him yourself?" I suggested.
I saw him tense at my suggestion and then respond very quickly:
"No, your highness, I'm flattered that you would suggest it, but it wouldn't be appropriate for the Prime Minister to come and see a concubine without some misplaced rumors coming in."
I'll grumble a couple of words to myself before I come up with the perfect plan.
"All right, sir, in that case, I will ask Missi Solène to come and visit the Prime Minister on my behalf," I added.
I saw him widen his eyes and lose all propriety by his panicked look at this idea.
I did not wait for his answer and rushed out with Auteur, laughing internally at the trick I had just played him.
Now I knew who to send Solène to after this story is over! I could keep Orias to myself!! MOUAHAHHAHA!!!
"Uh, Soliès... You're scary... You look terrifying on your face! ╭(°A°')╮"
I smiled machiavellian as I got into the carriage to go home.
"Anyway, to get back to the business at hand, I have to ask my informants for hard evidence, otherwise I wouldn't be able to send this abject being to jail," I thought.
"Oh! Yes, it's a great idea!! And I'll kick his buttocks during that time!! (ᕕ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ᕗ"
"Calm down your ardor, Auteur, especially since you don't have the build to do it," I teased her.
"Grumpf meh ( ̄Д ̄)"
I got out of the car, took a deep breath and headed for my room. The journey and maintenance had lasted so long that it resulted in a beautiful sunset in the distance.
"Auteur, let's meet later. I need you to go do a few things for me. I will be busy tonight at the imperial banquet," I explained, while quietly giving her a little encrypted piece of paper.
"Okay, whatever you want. Be careful, though, okay?"
I nodded and she answered my nod. She read the note and then stowed it in her sleeve and fled into the bushes.
I sighed at her exaggeration, and hurried to my room to change for the banquet. I let the maids dress me, put on makeup and do whatever it takes despite the embarrassment I felt at not doing anything on my own.
When it was over, I waited patiently for my husband to come and pick me up, despite the deep boredom that gripped me, the modern era missing me for its technology.
The doors opened as the maids arranged my hair one last time and bowed. I stood up while Orias came to take my hand.
"My husband is beautiful," he whispered with his hands down.
The redness came up to my cheeks and I just mumbled:
"You too are beautiful..."
He was dressed in a black dress with golden snake patterns, snaking along the sleeves and hips to the collar, earrings also golden in the shape of a feather hung from his lobes. As for me, I was dressed in a simple black dress, with white arabesques leading to lotus blooming here and there, my hair was grouped half in a bun crossed by a jade pin, half let go in my back, while earrings, also in jade, toned softly at each gesture on my part.
My words made him smile and he introduced his arm to me before I followed him. I grasped it and we headed for our means of transport.
Once inside, he slid his hand over my hip and tipped me over it, landing on his knees. His head came to rest in my neck, an arm wrapped around my hips, restricting me, his other hand coming to slightly slide my dress, revealing one of my shoulders.
"Soliès, he murmured erotically, you are very sensual."
I felt that my face would explode as I became red.
This Orias was definitely very enterprising!! The previous one was so shy!!
"Not here, I was stammering in front of so much recklessness on his part, not before the banquet!!!"
He smiled and chuckled at my panicked reaction.
"Okay, okay, that wasn't my intention anyway. What did you think? I just hugged my husband with a lot of love," he chuckled.
I rolled my eyes at his answer.
Of course!! And pigs fly!!! You were the most fan person of games in the beds I knew!! And it was to be polite!!
"Hmpf, I believe you, I said, but you have to let go of me, there is no way that I will come down like that.
- Oh? In that case, for me to let you go, you'll have to kiss me," he teased me.
I was left speechless. So that was the height of his audacity!!
"Otherwise, we can stay that way for a long time," he mocked kindly.
I had given him no more time to continue his taunts than I had put my lips on his own like a hungry man, beginning a long, languorous kiss between us.
When we split up, I had tipped over and spread out on the ground under Orias, giving me a sense of déjà vu. In his gaze, a flame of desire had lit and did not seem ready to die. He bowed to me.
"It would be a shame to stop there, he whispered in my ear, what would you say to having a little fun before?"
He smiled softly at me, his appetite not diminished at all, certainly waiting for my consent.
"Why not?" I answered him in a low voice, feeling more and more attracted to him.
It was not enough for my husband to continue our exchanges, I passed my arms around his neck and deepened the kiss between us.
The ride would last a while, no worries, right?
