🌸Random Chapter🌸

For some reason- I wanted to write a little extra chapter. There were only 49 parts and I thought that I might as well make it 50.

This will be taking place a little bit before the Holy War, so around the first bit of the book

And- I just felt like writing more drunk Y/N- I wanted to do more Zeldris reacting to it because we all know how shy he is-

I was also reading the first chapter when Y/N, Melascula, and Galand all got drunk and Zeldris came back all ready to murder someone🤣 Think that might be my favorite chapter.

Speaking of which- do y'all have a favorite chapter or moment?

..........

Y/N P.O.V

I puffed out my cheeks at the five before me. Of course, they were none other than, Meliodas, Elizabeth, Gloxinia, Drole, and my very brother Sariel.

"Tell me again-" Sariel sighed, face internally face palming. "How exactly did my sister get herself drunk in the middle of a forest?" Sariel said with a half sarcastic tone. He didn't seem too impressed with the current events.

"I was out on patrol with Elizabeth when I saw this tavern in the distance. I'd heard they had good booze so I brought some back!" Meliodas stated with his arms crossed. He still carried his ever cheerful personality; despite Sariel's rage.

"N/N found me and confiscated it. But I got it back! She asked me why I like booze and so I had her drink some!" Meliodas cheered with a cheeky smile.

Sariel yelled and ruffled his bright blue hair. His face was starting to turn red from irritation. "AGHHHH-!"

Gloxinia laughed and flew towards me. They all had me sit down on a wooden stump for now. He laughed nervously and waved. "Hey Y/N!" The fairy king exclaimed.

I suddenly screamed. "THERE'S FIVE GLOXINIA'S! WHEN WERE THERE SO MANY OF YOU?!?!" I exclaimed, holding his face in my hands to examine him.

Elizabeth laughed nervously. "Just how much did you give her, Meliodas?" Meliodas shrugged. "I don't remember. I was a little tipsy myself,"

Drole looked down at us with an amused smile. "I assume you're going to make us watch her to see if she doesn't do anything stupid?" Drole raised his eyebrows at Sariel.

"Of course I am!" Sariel shouted back. "My sister is seeing doubles because the demon gave her alcohol when she's never drank before in her life," the goddess deadpanned. "She'll get lost the first moment you leave her alone-"

"I have a meeting to attend. Watch over my sister. Carefully! I might add!" Sariel almost flew away, but was stopped when he felt a pull on his wrist.

I sniffled while the tears fell down my face. "D-don't go," I cried. Sariel flew down towards my side and sighed softly. "I'm sorry sis, but I have an important meeting with Lord Ludociel. Unless you'd want to come with me-"

"NO! NEVER!" The tears immediately ceased whist she ran behind the nearest person (Meliodas) for protection. I pointed my finger at hum accusingly.

"My brother would never propose such a thing! Sariel knows that I hate meetings!! What did you do with my brother and the four Gloxinia's!?!?!" I waved my finger around.

Sariel gave up and eventually flew away with no comment.

"Meliodasssss," I called out. He looked up at me and pat my head. "What's up N/N?" He smiled.

"If your leg get's cut off, how do you feel the pain? Your leg was cut off and that's where the pain would be," I suddenly spoke, my eyes dazed.

I tried to take a step, but almost fell. Elizabeth ran and caught me just in time. "That's a question for another time....or even better- no time at all. Let's get you home so you can rest," Elizabeth smiled.

I tried to wriggle my way out of Elizabeth's hold, but it was no use. "I don't wanna go home! I. Want. To. See. Zel!" I cried out, tears threatening to fall.

"I promised to see him todayyy. If I don't go, then he'll get worried and that's mean of me," I explained with my flushed cheeks.

Gloxinia looked at me with an amused smile. "I'm afraid that you might not be able to go see him today, Y/N," he explained with a soft voice, already expecting my shout of a reply.

"Finneeee," I mumbled. They all turned to me with a confused look. I would normally ever give up so easily. "I'm tired anyways. I wanna go home," I wiped my tired eyes.

But what they didn't know was that it was all a façade.

I was already devising a plan to see Zeldris.

I can simply pretend to be asleep and then sneak out the window.

Meliodas glanced at me with a suspicious 'look' in his eyes. Meliodas speedily took me out of Elizabeth's grasp, wrapping his arm around my shoulders to keep me sturdy. "I can take her home from here. This is sorta my fault in the first place," Meliodas sighed. Meliodas began to walk off, but Gloxinia flew in front of our path.

"Sorry Meliodas- but I'm trying to avoid Sariel's wrath. Besides, the thought of leaving you alone with a drunk girl just doesn't seem like the best idea-" Gloxinia spoke as if it was the most obvious fact in the world. Elizabeth nodded urgently as she ran up to us. "I agree!"

Meliodas continued to walk.  The two looked at each other with a nervous look. A nervous laugh left the both of them airily. When he realized the two weren't following after him, he turned to look at them. "I thought you two were coming? Better get a move on or I'll leave ya'!" Meliodas laughed.

The blonde looked down at me and leaned down to whisper in my ear. "Zel? Don't tell me that you've hid a boy from me?~" Meliodas smirked, well aware of the possible effects while drunk. One of them, being more agreeable and truthful. Of course, as her best friend, he had to figure out who.

"Zel is my nickname for him. His full name is Zeldris....." I mumbled softly, but loud enough for Meliodas to hear. I felt Meliodas stiffen. I could see how his eyes widened slightly. "Zel-!"

"Be quiet," I demanded, my playful nature disappearing for one sentence. My eyes drooped down slightly, my voice becoming muffled and tired. "You of all people should know why I can't tell others about this," I looked up at Meliodas with a sad gaze. "I'm aware of the risks we're taking....but I'd do anything to make sure he's safe," without noticing, my lips curled into a dorky smile.

Meliodas laughed and smiled, looking up at me. "Just be careful, N/N," Meliodas suddenly perked up. "Annndd up we go!" Meliodas moved to holding me in his arms as he flew up to the top of the tree where my hut was. Elizabeth and Gloxinia followed.

Once we made it to the ground, I pushed myself out of Meliodas's arms and let myself face plant onto the couch. I grabbed a pillow and held it tightly in my arms. The trio stared at me blankly. "I wahmaa seph Zelpdrph-" the pillow muffled my voice. Meliodas seemed to be the only one to understand what I had said.

"You'll be able to tomorrow N/N," Meliodas sat down beside me. "Normally I would have no problem with it- just not when you're drunk," Elizabeth sat at the other side behind me, gently playing with my hair. "You understood her?" She asked, slightly surprised. "He does get drunk a lot- he's probably learned the drunk mumbling by now," Gloxinia laughed. "Pretty much!"

"There's a waterfall in the forest that she likes to go to and train her magic. I would let her go, but she'd get lost on the way there. That forest connects with the Demon Realm. Any Demon could sense her magical power and go after her," Meliodas explained, slightly tweaking the story. Elizabeth nodded. "I see....so that's why she keeps going off," Elizabeth smiled fondly. She continued to gently play with my hair.

My breathing had steadied and the two had noticed that. "Y/N?" Elizabeth called out. She laughed softly. "Look at that, she fell asleep on her own," Gloxinia smiled. "Oh-" Meliodas leaned close to my face, trying to study my features. He saw my flushed cheeks and peaceful expression. "I guess she did," The blonde snickered/giggled softly.

Gloxinia walked forward and eventually found a way to pick you up. "I'll bring her to her room," the fairy finished. Gloxinia had been at my house before to meet up with Sariel. The Fairy King already knew the layout of the house.

Gently, he laid you down on your bed, placing a blanket over you softly. Gloxinia left and closed the door behind him. Once he was gone, I opened one eye to scan the perimeter. I jumped out of my bed and went to the window, opening it as quietly as I could.

I had escaped the hut and protection of the trio.

It didn't take me long to enter the forest. I landed on the ground, knowing that I had to walk from here. Although, my mind was quite fuzzy. Was I really where I meant to be? This place looked a little different-

Growllll

I turned around. A creature stood on it's hind legs in the distance. Its horns curled around to its front. Its body was covered in a white fur. Its eyes held a feral gaze and glowed a bright red. Within a second, it was rushing towards me with a loud growl that scared the birds away.

My eyes widened slightly, but I wasn't aware of the danger.

It came towards me, but stopped right in front of my face.

I took a step forward. Its growl became more aggressive. Yet, it didn't run when my hand made contact with its forehead. In fact, it immediately calmed and leaned into my touch. My eyes sparkled. I ran and gave it a big hug, scratching its head between its large cat-like ears.

It suddenly turned and licked her. I squealed. I didn't expect the thing to lick me!

I smiled and continued to pet it. It crawled onto its back, showing its belly. I giggled happily.

Abruptly, the bushes rustled and a figure ran into the area. Their sword was drawn and pointed at that creature. Their gaze was harsh and ready to kill. Their eyes landed on me and their gaze immediately softened into one of fondness.

"Y/N...." they mumbled. The brightest smile formed on my face. "Zeldris!" I exclaimed. I flew into his arms and giggled happily. I jumped up and down, pointing towards the creature happily.

"Look Zel! I made a friend! His name is Snuggles!" I exclaimed. "Snuggles? Y/N- that's a demon-! It could have killed you!" Zeldris stuttered. His voice almost seemed protective. He smelt the air and then pulled me closer to him by the wrist. Zeldris's eyebrows raised.

"Why do you smell like alcohol?" Zeldris asked in a strict voice. "Oh! Meliodas had me try some!" I danced around in a circle. "OOOO! The world is spinning!!" I giggled happily. Zeldris balled his hands in a fist and growled. "Meliodas!!" He shouted. "That idiot! He left you alone when you were completely drunk, well aware of the demons around here!?"

I stopped and held my head, barely able to stand up straight. "Nahhh. I snuck out through the window!" I cheered as if it was something to be proud off.  His jaw dropped to the floor. He opened his mouth to scold me, but I stopped him. "I wanted to come and see you!"

Zeldris looked taken aback, his cheeks growing red. I ran and wrapped my arms around him, snuggling my face into his chest. I looked up at him with a curious expression. My hands reached up into his hair. I slowly got closer and the redder his face got.

It felt like a thousand years for him. His mind racing every minute with a million different thoughts-

"Since you're a demon, will you grow horns?" I asked. Zeldris let out a breath he seemed to be holding. "A-are you inspecting for horns?" he deadpanned with a soft stutter. I nodded. "What else would I be doing?" I asked innocently, looking into his dark eyes; fading to a bright green.

"Y-you just got so close all of a sudden-!" Zeldris shouted. His face was as red as a tomato. "Oohh I see~" I smirked. "Y-you do?!" He almost yelled. I nodded, tapping his nose.

"Yeah! You must've thought that I was going to pluck your eyes out to investigate them," I giggled, completely oblivious. Zeldris sighed. "S-sure- we'll go with that," he laughed nervously. "If I heard you correctly, then you said that Snuggles was a demon?" I asked, pulling my hands out of his hair.

Zeldris cleared his throat and nodded his head. My eyes sparkled! I turned around. "Yay! Let's go- inves...tigate..," in the span of a second my energy seemed to fade. My eyes began to droop and my body began to fall forward. Zeldris acted fast and quickly pulled me into him to stop my fall.

"Zeldrisss," I whined. "I wanna go investigate. Let me gooo," I continued to whine. Snuggles laid on its side and seemed to see how tired I was. It gestured its head towards us, as if motioning us to come closer. I broke free and ran to Snuggles, giving it a big. I snuggled my face into its fur with a content sigh. Zeldris pulled off his gauntlets and put them off to the side. He sat on his knees beside me.

His hand reached out and gently touched Snuggle's fur, realizing just how soft it was. Zeldris leaned his head onto the demon hesitantly before becoming quite comfortable. I turned to Zeldris and pulled him into my chest, snuggling my face into his hair as I leaned against the furry demon.

When Zeldris looked up at me, he realized that I had fallen asleep. A soft smile crept onto his face. Zeldris found himself unconsciously snuggling into my chest and closing his eyes, slowly falling asleep.

"OH CRAP!" Gloxinia shouted from inside the house. Meliodas and Elizabeth rushed to where Gloxinia was. It just happened to be Y/N's room. "Gloxinia! What happened?" Elizabeth cried. "Oh uh-" Meliodas rubbed the back of his neck.

"We lost Y/N......We're dead....."

"Correction- very, very, dead,"

"Come on you two- we're not dead unless we can't find her. As long as we find her before Sariel gets back we'll be okay,"..........."I hope-"

Immediately after the exchange, the trio spit up to look for the drunk goddess.  Meliodas, knowing she wanted to see Zeldris, went to the forest. Call it a brother intuition that he found them in the blink of an eye.

Meliodas looked down at the demon with the two sleeping on it. Meliodas looked at his brother and snickered.

"Guess you're gonna' be a real boobs kind of guy Zeldris,"
