Chapter 11

Y/N P.O.V

"A demon sealed away for 3000 years. Galand of the Ten Commandments," Slader spoke in pure shock. Merlin glared at Galand as he took a step further. "His power level may be more than we imagined. Hawk, what's his magic level?"

"Magic? Huh? It's zero! Is this magical eye thing busted or somethin'?!" Hawk called out. "I see. It must be one of the effects of the Goddess race's seal," Merlin spoke softly.

"That means that now is our only chance to attack," Diane mentioned. Meliodas nodded and looked back at me. "Stay close to me. Remember what I told you," I nodded. "Right,"

"So, this is where the humans nest. It seems that there have been quite a few changes in the past 3000 years. But as usual, they're all clumped together. I suppose that some habits will never change. It's too cramped," Galand lifted his spear and slashed through the city.

Arthur's eyes widened. "The city is...." it was as if there was never a single thing built anywhere within a meter of where we stood. What was once filled with buildings and life was no more than dirt. "There, that should make things a bit roomier. Now, where was I?" Galand turned back to face our group.

"Meliodas, I've been waiting for quite some time to have a nice, long sparring match with you," Meliodas immediately sprang forward, cutting Galand's neck, but to his surprise, his spear was thrusted through Meliodas' abdomen.

When Galand turned, two more of Meliodas tried to attack him, but they were cut in two. The one on the spear soon dissapeared as well. The harsh winds from the battle blew all around us. Merlin formed Perfect Cube's around Arthur and Elizabeth.

"An after-image? No, this feels like I'm being set up for the real one. The next attack, from behind," Galand glanced behind himself. "But that's only a ruse. From above," he caught Meliodas by the throat.

"That's quite a fun spell. However, I'm not fond of cheap tricks," Galand stabbed the Meliodas from behind him after he tried to attack. "Are you really the same Meliodas from all those years ago?" His grip around Meliodas grew tighter.

"Get your hands of our captain!" Diane ran forward to help Meliodas. Merlin undid the magic making Diane human sized and replaced her clothing. Diane swung her Giddeon at Galand for him to slam it back into her forehead.

I bit my lip and ran forward with a light spear. "We said let go!" Before I could attack, my spear clashed with Galands. His green orbs lit up. "Ooo! Is that the sharp-tongued goddess? I heard that you slapped Ludociel! I would've loved to see his face!" Galand chuckled. I could Meliodas' eyes widen when Galand mentioned my true race.

"And what if I did?" I smirked. "I don't regret it at all. In my opinion, that guy talked way too much. Someone had to teach him how to shut his mouth. Since no one else would, I gave him a little piece of my mind," I stuck my tongue out. Galand laughed. "You have a sharp a tongue as you did then! You were always quite fun to tease with that tongue of yours. You always got mad so easily-"

"Shut up" I threw my spear into the air and made a blast of light to blind him before creating tiny daggers. Unfortunately, he deflected them all. He was so fast that I couldn't catch up. Galand slashed my back. I wailed out in pain.

My wings desperately wanted to show themselves, but I had to keep them hidden. In my moment of weakness he sliced my left arm, causing the sleeve to fall and reveal my curse.

"Let's take a moment to strategize," before Merlin could snap, Galand dissapeared. "That was amazing, Lady Merlin!" Elizabeth smiled. Meliodas managed to stand and walked over to me and Diane. "You guys okay?"

Diane grunted in pain, but I simply smirked. "We both know that a little pain isn't gonna stop me," I stood up and limped closer to Meliodas. "I don't anyone heard what Galand said about me. We got lucky," I whispered.

"But I didn't teleport him," the mage admitted. "Within a matter of seconds, he was miles away from the range of my power. I can only assume that he's retreated," as soon as Merlin finished, Galand teleported behind her.

"You know, its you deceitful, sneaky mages that I despise more than any other," Galand moved to punch Merlin, but Slader jumped in the way to turn petrified and wacked away. "Slader!" Elizabeth shrieked his name when his right arm was severed.

"Wait, let's make a deal," Merlin moved her hair to show her sin mark on her neck. "You, Galand serving under the Demon King, have far exceeded my expectations-" Merlin continued to speak.

"-in return, we will give your people whatever you desire. Regardless of what you need to try and achieve your goals, I'm sure that I can-" suddenly she stopped.

"That won't work! Galand can't be li-" Meliodas tried to warn Merlin, but she began to turn to stone. "You lied to me, didn't you?" The Commandments of Truth smirked.

Galand laughed as he held his spear high in the air. "I am Galand of Truth! Speak and lies in my presence and you will be turned to stone! Withstanding any commandment bestowed by the Demon King is impossible. Now then, I'll pulverize you into dust!" Galand held his fist high.

"Merlin!" I shouted, my voice cracking. Meliodas and I ran towards Galand, distracting him just enough for Slader to grab Merlin. Many knights of Camelot followed us in our assault, but most of them died. Meliodas' arms were cut off. Galand held me up by my left arm and squeezed it tightly.

"Stay out of this. I can't damage you any further unless I want him to punish me! But I will if I have to!" He threw me to the dirt harshly. My head hit the ground first, taking most of the impact. I tried to keep my eyes open, but the world kept going in and out of focus. Galand looked down at me with a smirk. "Sleep for a while. It'll spare me the trouble,"

"Galand! You basta-" I started to growl before my eyes closed and I lost the will to stay awake. "Sorry....Mel..."

Slowly, my E/C eyes opened. My whole body ached as I sat up. I looked out the window to see a bright blue sky. "Huh?! Where in Liones am I!?" The door burst open and there stood Elizabeth and Meliodas.

"Y/N? It seems like she lost her memory as well," Elizabeth exclaimed. Meliodas shrugged his shoulders.

"You two are here too? Wait! Where's everyone else?! Why are we here? I- I don't understand-" I mumbled. Meliodas put a hand on my shoulder and tilted his head.

"Do the Seven Deadly Sins ring a bell?" He asked. I tilted my head. "The what now?! You two are making no sense at all. Why aren't we in the Fairy Kings Forest?" I asked him quickly. He sighed and turned to Elizabeth.

"Yup! Same as Diane. It seems like Gowther wasn't lying. He really did erase both of their memories," Meliodas' eyes seemed to go sad. "Elizabeth, could you leave us alone for a while? Tell Merlin that I'll be back soon to help look for Diane," He muttered.

Elizabeth nodded her head and left the room. He sat down next to me and looked me in the eye. "Elizabeth lost her memory. Please, don't mention anything about the Holy War to her,"

My eyes widened. "She did? But that's awful. So she doesn't remember Sariel or Gloxinia and Drole?" I asked. He nodded. "Hey, make sure to not go off on your own. The Ten Commandments are out there and you're badly injured. Get some rest, I'll come check on you again. You still seem pretty out of it," he mentioned.

He was right. I did feel extremely tired. My eyes were half lidded and my whole body felt sore. I nodded. "I'll be sure to do that. Stay safe," he nodded and walked out of the room. I layed back down and closed my tired eyes.

Galand returned to Edinburg Hill with many scratches and dents. "Oh! That was amazing! They didn't stand a chance. I've done it! I've killed Meliodas!" Galand laughed.

"To be honest, the whole thing was really disappointing. Although, I did see that sharp-tongued goddess of yours Zeldris," he called out. Zeldris immediately turned his head to look at Galand.

"Did you hurt her?" Zeldris spoke sternly. Galand shook his head. "I made sure to not damage her too much. I can see why you find her entertaining. She slapped Ludociel! She's got guts!" He laughed.

Zeldris looked into the distance with an unrecognizable look in his eyes.  "Y/N....I'll keep my promise...when night falls...I'll be by your side once again..."

3rd Person P.O.V

As soon as night fell the sins had stopped their advance. After travelling for a full day, Hawk's mom needed to rest. Everyone on board peacefully slept.

Zeldris summoned his dark wings and made his way to the Boar Hat quickly. He could sense your magical power. It was close by. Zeldris stopped in place as soon as he saw the Boar Hat. It was much stronger now. However, he had to he quick, but he wasn't going to let anyone take you away.

Zeldris flew by one window and noticed your sleeping form. He prepared one of his blasts and broke the window. It shattered into pieces. Zeldris entered through the window and stared at your sleeping form.

He cupped your cheek with his hand gently and leaned his forehead to yours. "I came back. Just like I promised," he muttered softly. He pulled back to feel a tiny hand wrap around the one on your cheek.

"Zeldris..." she mumbled quietly. Zeldris's eyes widened as a small blush crept onto his cheeks. Your E/C eyes slowly opened.

Y/N P.O.V

I opened my eyes and looked up at the figure in front of me. I was extremely tired, but I smiled nonetheless. "Zeldris..." I smiled. I sat up and wrapped my arms around him.

"How did you find me? What are you doing here?" I muttered quietly, stuffing my face in his neck. He smiled softly and hugged me tightly. "I promised to find you again and that's all I needed,"

Through my half lidded eyes, I looked up at Zeldris and kissed his cheek before laying my head on his chest. "I'm tired," I mumbled. "You're so warm....it's nice..." I mumbled before closing my eyes once again.

Zeldris picked me up and cradled me in his arms gently. I wrapped my arms around his neck and snuggled into his chest.

Meliodas' eyes shot open at the dark presence heading their way. His anxiety only increased when he heard a window shatter. His eyes widened when he recognized the magical presence that belonged to his brother, Zeldris.

He immediately slammed open the door to my room and pulled out his sword. "Zeldris, put her down!" He yelled. "Quiet, you should know not to wake a sleeping girl," Zeldris spoke.

"Wait! You don't understand! Her memories were tampered with by Gowther-" Zeldris didn't listen to the rest. He was already out the window and flying away. That was all he needed to hear, but even so he didn't care.

He held onto you tightly and never let go. He was never going to let you go now. It'd been 3000 years.....and finally....he'd had the chance to hold you again.

...¤¤....¤¤....¤¤...

Zeldris is my prince and no one can tell me otherwise. He is hot! And I iust love him! And now, the real fun of plot can begin.....

You didn't think this reunion was going all cupcakes and rainbows right? The emotional torture has only started.....
