Chapter 02:

A certain Uchiha skimmed the assignment that the Hokage had said the client had personally asked for him. "I haven't seen Nadai-san from since I was a genin." He recalled on his very first mission he and his teammates had been on; they had to protect and transport a wealthy business man of Konoha.

He had remembered the man's sagacious ways in his dealings even with his life at risk. "Training and teaching his daughter... I wonder what she's like." A smile graced his face. He did owed Mitsuru Nadai a favor; guess he have to repay him with this.

••••

Akira scrutinized the weapons she had gotten from a maid.

They had been superbly made durable, sharp, the right size for her hand and passing the leaf test. No wonder why a high percentage of the shinobi in Konoha bought products from Nadai's Weaponry.

She lightly flung a kunai up into the air, catching as it fell back down into her small right hand. Looking at the targets that were on the training ground that Mitsuru had asked to be set up for her, she threw a kunai, aiming for the very center of the multiple red circles on the straw dummy.

But before the kunai could even reach, it sailed straight flat onto the ground with a splat.

Akira's right eye twitched, 'not enough....'

"Strength." She heard a voice from behind her.

The dark blonde haired girl knew that the owner of the voice had been watching her for a while. Akira slowly turned her head to see a teenage boy around fifteen or sixteen years of age with unruly black hair, onyx eyes and a prominent nose..... an Uchiha.

Did fate like playing with her? Of all people her father could had assigned this to, it had to be an Uchiha.

From experience, she could tell even he wasn't an ordinary shinobi. He was a prodigy at what he did. And the Uchiha before her looked familiar to that youth, Kagami Uchiha. This boy was probably somehow related to him.

He smiled, "there wasn't enough strength when you threw it. If there was, you would have hit bulls eye. Your technique was perfect. Where where did you learn it from?"

"I looked over stances for throwing kunais in a book." She replied, lying.

"Hmm." He released then thought, 'from a book she was able to properly learn the difficult Senju form for throwing kunais. Nadai-san, your daughter-' Before he could complete his thoughts, the very same businessman he was thinking about appeared as if he had been summoned.

"I see you two have already met up." Mitsuru said, looking between his daughter and the Uchiha. He gently placed his hands on Akira's shoulders. "Shisui, this is my daughter, who I told you about. She says that she wants to become a ninja." Then he looked down at Akira "Why don't you introduce yourself to him? For the next three-four months he will be something like your sensei."

"My name is Akira Nadai. Nice to meet you..." She had a problem calling a boy who was mentally younger than her 'sensei'.

Shisui crouched down to her height with a smile, "No need to call me sensei. I'll feel a little old if you called me that. I'm Shisui, Shisui Uchiha and you could just call me Shisui-nii."

'Nii?' That was somewhat better but he was still younger than her. Since she had the body of a four year old just like she had to called her father 'daddy' and her mother 'mommy' instead of 'dad' and 'mom', she had to deal with it. "...Shisui-nii." She acknowledged.

"Akira-chan, I have heard from Nadai-san that your dream is to become a shinobi. I must tell you the truth that it is not easy becoming one and when you do, your life would always be in constant danger when you go are missions." He gently explained, then asked. "Are you sure you want to become a ninja even knowing this?"

"I do. This is something I have decided and I will not turn do my back on this even knowing the circumstances, Shisui-nii." Replied Akira.

The Uchiha was stunned for a minute. In her violet eyes, he saw ... the Will of Fire. He then looked at Nadai-san. This Will of Fire was not going to be extinguish even for eternity, a will that held the desire to protect Konoha and everyone it in. Before him flashed the stone carvings of the First and Second Hokages, then one of Hiruzen Sarutobi as he gazed out his window, watching over his citizens. Why did he feel the four year old girl before him, who didn't even possess enough strength to hit the target of a dummy presence felt like that of a high level shinobi who had years of experience? That what would lead one to become an Hokage.

Shisui thought, 'seems like your instinct was right Nadai-san. Your daughter, Akira-chan was born to become a ninja. But before anything is completely decided even though she certainly has the will, will her body accept it?'

"Since you two have been introduced, I have some matters to take care of." Mitsuru said before departing.

"Now, Akira-chan how about giving me five push-ups?" He held up five fingers.

'Five push-ups? Child's play.'

Seeing that Akira's was doing the form correctly for push-ups, he didn't say anything.

Akira felt her arms quiver trying to support her weight. She was panting and breathing hardly to try lift herself up and down. But she was to no avail, falling onto the ground. Her right eye twitched, 'I can't even do a single push-up.' She wanted to cry.

••••

Akira punched the pillow on her bed in anger. Finally after three days, she had obtained enough stamina to do five simple push-ups. Even though she could, she had felt that she was deprived of all her energy and had been grasping for breath afterwards. "If Tobi-nii was here, he would have definitely laughed at me. And I wouldn't even imagine Madara's reaction."

She tossed the book Shisui had told her to read to the side. She had already knew everything what was within the book before even glimpsing at it. She was the one who had written the book after all.

Since she had an interest for writing in her past-life, Tobirama had been the one to decide for her to write the textbooks which the Academy students still used, only with updated versions. The updated versions held no major differences.

She would had never thought, she would be reincarnated then would have to study from the very same ones she had written.

Akira already had the knowledge, all she required was to get this weak body of hers in shape. Getting a red bag that hang on her door and placed it on her back, she had decided to head out.

There was no one going to stop her. Her father was busy with Nadai's Weaponry and her mother had an appointment with the hair salon.

Avoiding the workers of Nadai's Manor, Akira sneaked out.

From the memories she had of this life, Akira knew that the Leaf Village had changed and had advanced. Watching the vendors advertising their products, people happily conversing on the streets, and children playing, for some reason she felt her violet eyes go moist. She wiped them, 'just like how Hashi-nii boisterously exclaimed it was going to be.' As she looked up at the Hokage faces, she thought this. 'I hope the village stays peaceful and there would never be any more wars.' The girl of the Nadai Family recalled the bodies of her comrades strewn over the battle grounds especially those of ones who were only a few years older than her current self. 'But is that just my wishful thinking?' Her long dark blonde eyelashes made butterfly wing like shadows on her face.

After purchasing flowers from Yamanaka's Flower Shop, she made her short legs carry her to the K.I.A monument. She saw someone leaving it's grounds. From the green vest, he had to be chunin level or above, but she could distinguish he was a jonin. From how he had walked and the air around him, he had probably been apart of the anbu. While reading a book with a man chasing a woman on the green cover, the shinobi with silver gravity defying hair eye met hers for a split second. And they walked pass each other.

Akira stopped in place, looking back to see he was already gone.

Once she reached, she saw incense already being burnt. 'It was probably him.' Resting the flowers down against the stone, she closed eyes and put her hands together.

After a short prayer for the ones who had been killed in battle, she headed over to where her gravesite could be located. Pinpointing it, she thought with a dry smile, 'Tobi-nii must have been the one to decide to bury me in the Senju Section.' Examining it, she noted that it was grand, but knowing her first cousin, would he had actually allowed for her real body to be buried here without any guards protecting it? No, he had always been extremely cautious. He probably had set this grave up for appearances' sake and had her body sealed off somewhere. She placed her hand down onto the ground, not feeling any sort of connection. "As I thought my body wasn't laid to rest here."

Suddenly before her eyes a vision played, witnessing black flames cackling high in the moonless night sky. It was as if she was really there feeling the intense heat and pressure of the hot element, hand on her pulsing head, "...right...I programmed it so half an hour after my death my corpse would be burned, leaving no ashes." The dark haired blonde concluded that she must had thought of that during the time she possessed no memories of.

She heard the swirling sound of the wind, causing several strands of hair to persist in following the air current.

Then the hair on her neck suddenly stood and she quickly turned at 2 o clock. Even though her strength and massive chakra weren't there, she was still highly sensitive to other people. "Who's there!"

She was only answered by her echoing voice and the wind.

Akira felt the presence suddenly vanish; it occurred instantly. 'Some type of teleportation jutsu?'

After staying in place for ten seconds, Akira decided to get down to the main business as to why she had decided to leave the Nadai Manor.

By the time she reached the forestry area of Konoha, the violet eyed girl was panting. She couched down, removing her bag from her back and took on a bottle of water. Uncapping it, took four mouthful gulps then recapped it. She really despised this paper-like body of hers.

Resting her bag on the ground, Akira commenced in scanning the area and found one of the herbs she was looking for.

The main reason why she had left was to gather fresh herbs so that she could create pills that promoted strength and stamina gain.
