The Crown Prince And The Crimson Rain Sought Flower Part 2
Hashirama
It was a medium-sized book with the same silk ribbon on the cover. Underneath the picture in gold cursive letters read The History Of Crown Prince Xie Lian
What connection does a prince have to silk ribbons?
I opened the book book and started reading.
Prince Xie Lian is the only child to the king and queen of Xianle. As a child, he was given everything he could ever dream of or ever want and needed. Growing up the young prince was discovered to be incredibly smart and talented. He managed to wield a sword with minimal effort and had managed to master it by the age of six.
He was massively feared by his enemies, beloved by his people, and courageous and loyal to a fault. Despite his many accolades, the young prince had a tendency to act out. Some would describe him as childish, naive, and untrustworthy.
Unfortunately, Xianle was overcome with a deadly disease known as Human Face Disease. Human Face Disease is a disease where deformations appear all over the body. So far there is no known cure. The prince was told not to go to the mortal realm by Jun Wu, he defied those orders, however, and was banished from Heaven.
A few years later he ascended but was banished a second time because he felt Heaven attained on the death of his last believer was a Heaven not deserved but like his first time he reascended years later. However, the reason is unknown.
Thankfully he was never banished again after that. During his third ascend he was able to make two friends in the form of two young men named Nan Feng and Fu Yao. They assisted the prince while he went on missions but kept a dangerous secret from everyone.
Nan Feng and Fu Yao assisted him often but there was a third man that also accompanied them. Nan Feng and Fu Yao were suspicious of him from the start but the prince assured them that he was merely a good friend and stated that his name was San Long.
After the last mission the four of them attended together Nan Feng reported to his general then went back to check on the prince only to find him making love to his friend in the temple he had created.
The prince had lied about his friend's identity. The man's name wasn't San Long but was actually The Crimson Ran Sought Flower Hua Cheng.
Hua Cheng was an evil ghost during his time and was gifted the rank devastation. Hua Cheng was soon killed for the crimes he committed against the prince. Instead of being grateful to the higher-ups that had helped him prince Xie Lian went on a killing spree.
He killed each person that was involved in his lover's death. He decided to leave Nan Feng alive but shortly took his own life afterwards with his dead lover's sword E Ming.
That must've been awful for him. To be constantly talked down to by his comrades only to have his lover die I'm his arms. I know what the book says about Hua Cheng but there are two sides to every story. It's not fair for me to judge him if I've only heard one side.
I looked down at the ribbon that was in my lap.
"I was hoping to find some information on this but there doesn't seem to be any information. I don't know why but it feels like I'm supposed to call you Ruoye".
I suppose saying that name was the key to figuring out what it was. The ribbon left from my lap and spun around in a circle in front of me until a man appeared in its place.
"It's so good to finally see you again master". "Master"? He had straight hair that went passed his but, was fair-skinned and dressed in all white.
"Your the reincarnation of my former master the crown prince of Xianle, Xie Lian". To say I was shocked would be an understatement.
"Are you the voice I've been hearing"? "No, that would be master. Xie Lian speaking to you". "What does he want"? "He wants you to find the reincarnation of Hua Cheng or as he prefers to call him San Long so the two of them can be together".
"I want to help him but I don't want to be with some stranger". "He won't feel like a stranger to you. You and he are destined to be together just like Xie Lian and Hua Cheng were".
Madara
When I woke up I realized it was just Ryuko and I home. Izuna was probably somewhere in the forest training and mom and dad more than likely went out to tend to some business. I smiled down at her as she continued to sleep peacefully beside me.
Ryuko wasn't exactly planned but I'm glad she's here. She's the only girl among five boys but that doesn't bother any of us. It especially didn't bother her. She's very young but she's the toughest little girl I know.
I slowly climbed out of bed and made my way to my desk. To my surprise, there was a medium-sized book with a picture of E Ming on the cover. The sword itself was placed on the desk right next to it.
I know father wants me to figure things out on my own but isn't this a little fast? This book came out of nowhere and I'm just supposed to trust that it was the answers I want.
I looked at the sword then at the book. Everything about this was suspicious but I had no choice. I opened the book and started reading. Much to my surprise it had information on both E Ming and Hua Cheng.
E Ming is a sword that was forged by hand from molten lava and was structured to be the toughest and strongest of its time. The sword took seven weeks to complete. When it was finished it was gifted to Hua Cheng as a gifted from his father.
His father wanted him to have a sword to would be a great ally and companion that would protect him from any and all danger. Growing up Hua Cheng was a mischievous boy that liked to get into a lot of trouble.
He would challenge the kids in his village to duels and have challenges with them to see who was the smartest and most clever. Whoever lost had to give their most prized item to to victor. Hua Cheng never lost a duel or challenge.
When he was twelve he witnessed the death of his parents. This changed him causing him to act out more. He stole every chance he got no matter how big or small. He even went as far as to sleep around with the village men and women.
During his time he fought thirty-three heavenly officials defeating each of them. Considering he was a devastation this was regular behavior for him but unruly behavior for the Heavenly officials which resulted in him being hated more than he already was.
During the end of his time, he approached Prince Xie Lian of Xianle. He befriended the young prince and
over time somehow was able to have him develop feelings for him. When the Heavenly officials found this out they had him killed but as a result prince Xie Lian took revenge and killed everyone involved.
The way this book describes him is the same way people talk about my clan
"It wasn't easy for me to watch him go through that just like it isn't for me to watch you go through the same thing". I voice called behind me. I turned around and saw a man with black hair that stopped at his shoulders, a scar in the shape of an X on his left cheek, and who was fair-skinned.
"I didn't realize the sword had a spirit that resided in it". We spoke softly as to not wake Ryuko who was still sound asleep.
"It was never my intention to deceive you, young master". "Is everything the book said true"? "Yes, master Hua Cheng was discriminated against just like you and your siblings are". "Why me"?
"You are master Hua Cheng's reincarnation. His wish is to be reunited with his Xie Lian". "So all I have to do is find the reincarnation of Xie Lian and somehow convince them to fall in love with me"?
"Precisely".
