Hashirama

It took a year but we were finally able to build the village Madara and I had both dreamed of for our clans. We visited the land of fire and bought it from the men and women that owned it. In return we agreed to let them become the elders of the village.

As word got out other clans came and asked for our permission to join. We allowed them to of course. Each clan had a large number of clansmen including ours. We allowed each clan to pick which section they wanted to build their resort in.

The one's that weren't a part of large clans were given houses or apartments to live in. Along with the houses we built a hospital, police station, fire station, daycare, orphanage, and a few cafes. We were currently building the kids a decent sized playground. We wanted there to be enough playground equipment that would occupy the children for long periods of times.

We were hoping the day care staff would take them their as a fun exercise while their parents worked.
Madara and a few of the other Uchiha took control of the police station while I took control over the hospital and along with Inu thought anyone who wanted to learn medical ninjutsu.

As for who was in charge of the village Madara and I both were. I was voted first Hokage and shortly afterward decided Madara would be my second in command or shadow kage as he prefers to call it. He would be in charge of handling meetings, making decisions and protecting the village when I couldn't.

The village had six founders, myself, Madara, Tobirama, Izuna, Inuama and Ryuko. Our parents joined the council of elders. The council of elders purpose is to give advice on certain matters when need be. I didn't want my father anywhere near a political position but he told me how much he values his father's advice.

If my father had found out I put Tajima on the council and not him it would provide me with a headache I didn't need. Despite that I was extremely happy with the outcome of everything. The villagers were happy and my younger siblings were thriving in their new environment..

"How are you doing today my lord"? I smiled to myself as I heard him enter. He was teasing me as he always did but I loved the way my title sounded coming from him. "I'm doing well. What about you lord Uchiha". I teased back. He made his way over to me, came behind my desk, kneeled on one knee and kissed my hand.  "I'm doing fine as well. Thank you for asking". I blushed.

"What if someone walks in"? "I don't care if they see. I like you. Don't you feel the same"? He smiled tilting his head to the side. "Of course I do. I wouldn't let you have sex with me if I didn't". "I'm glade to hear".

He stood up and kissed me. I kissed him back immediately.

We pulled away from each other as a knock was heard at the door.

"Come in".

Mito walked in with a smile on her face. I already knew what this was about.

"Good afternoon lord Hashirana, Lord Uchiha". "Mito". Madara answered. He had a slightly annoyed tone but I knew Mito didn't pick up on it. "What do we owe the pleasure Mito"? "I was hoping to speak with you in private if that's ok"?

"Whatever you have to say can be said to the both of us". "It's a private matter". "Regarding what"? "My clan and yours". "Well if that's the case then Madara definitely needs to be here. The Senju and Uchiha are the founding families of the village after all not only that but the Uchiha are apart of the Senju now". I turned to him.

"You don't have a problem sitting in on this meeting do you"? "Not at all". "Fantastic". I turned back to Mito. "Go ahead Mito, we're listening". She had an uneasy look on her face. I knew she wasn't expecting this.

"My mother wishes to have a family dinner with you and your parents". "I'll gladly go". I smiled. "Really"!? She asked surprised. "Yes but on one condition". "Anything"! She said excitedly. "Madara comes with". She was taken aback.

"May I ask why"? "Simple really, you said this was a family dinner and Madara is my family". "You did but our parents made it clear they only want us there with them". "No one told me about this so I'm going to assume I'm the last to be told anything.

As I said before, either Madara and I both go or I don't go at all". "Very well then, I'll let our parents know". "Thank you, I appreciate it". She turned and left.

"You know this is only going to upset your father". He said matter of factly. "I don't care".

We stayed together in our office going over paperwork together. If it wasn't for Madara's help I would be up all night trying to get everything done. Around four o clock is when we decided to take a break. We left and took a walk around our village. Everywhere we looked we say nothing but happy smiles.

"Look it's Lord Hokage and Lord Madara"! One of the children said happily. On our days off Madara and I like to spend it playing with the little kids here. It didn't take them long to warm up to us either which was a plus.

"You all aren't misbehaving are you"? Madara teased them as we approached. "Of course not! We're being good"! One of the boys said. His name was Kevin and was only three. Madara kneeled and ruffled his hair. "That's good. How's your training going? Were you able to master the move I thought you"?

"Not yet but I'm getting better at it". He said excitedly, eyes shining. "That's great to hear. Your parents must be so proud". He smiled. "Can the two of you stay and tell us more battle stories? Please"!? A little girl by the name of Amy asked. She was five.

"Not this time but we will be back on the weekend. We can tell you all the stories you want then"? I said smiling. "Ok". I ruffled her hair a little. "Take care little ones". Madara stood up and we continued our walk.

"They just continue to get more and more adorable". "You talk as if you want one"? His eyes were closed with his hands in his pockets but had a smile on his face nonetheless. "I don't know, maybe one day if I'm with the right person".

"So marriage and a family is something you desire"? "Only if I'm with the right person. I don't want someone that will use me because of my title". "Are you referring to Mito"? I nodded. "Is that why you insisted I come"? He opened one eye to look at me.

"Yes and no. I mainly want you there so I won't feel so uncomfortable". "I understand". "Will you still do it"? "I'd do anything you ask of me". I smiled.

"What about you? Any plans to marry and settle down"? "It's the same as you. I'm waiting for the right person to come along but I do have my eye on someone". "Oh really? Do tell". "Nope, that's a secret for later".
