As I looked behind me I saw something that would haunt my dreams for a long time.

It was the biggest spider I've ever seen, its legs looked to be sharp stabbing into the ground. As it was looking at me it raised one of its legs above me and let out what sounded like clicking. But before it brought it down, a small boulder was launched at its head knocking the creature on its side.

I was then picked up by mother who ran back to the rest of the troop. With us back safely the silverback mocked charged at the spider. But it only flinched before rearing onto its hind legs and hissing, revealing long sharp fangs. The silverback stood to his full height, which was slightly smaller than the spider and roared.

The silverback pounded his chest and threw another small boulder at it. The spider was pushed back but still remained. Having gave the intruder multiple chances to leave, the silverback charged toward the spider before jumping launching his entire bodyweight to its head.

The impact caused the spider to hit several trees some even splitting. However, it got up and launched toward the ape with a jump of its own.
Suprising the silverback with its quick recovery, it managed to send two of its legs into the apes shoulders successfully pinning him.

With its prey pinned the spider showed its fangs again ready to finish the fight. But the silverback having recovered from the initial shock, sent a powerful double kick to its stomach. With the spider on it's back he took this chance to attack. The spider quickly got up but was slightly disoriented, so it didn't see the silverback grabbing one of its fangs before socking it in the face.

This successfully ripped its fang out causing some green liquid to leak from its mouth. A soft sizzling sound was heard as it touched the ground, but the spider didn't seemed fazed by having its fang ripped off. It proceeded to rear once again but this time it ran at him.

Before the spider could stab him again, he grabbed the two front legs and begin pushing. The spider wouldn't win in a contest of strength with the ape, so it moved four of its legs to the side and began stabbing the silverback.

With the pain and blood loss he has beginning to fall onto his knees. But no silverback ever submits. With a mighty roar he began to grow his fur grew longer and thicker. His muscles began to enlarge and his wounds began to heal. When the process was finished he was bigger than the spider and taller.

With his new mighty strength he pushed the spider down, and held it down with his foot. The spider attempted to stab him again, but when it tried to penetrate his skin the end of its leg broke. The silverback began to rip every single one of its legs off one by one. The spider was thrashing around trying to get the ape off, but the silverback continued to tear its legs off.

Even with all its legs torn off it was still alive. So to finish it off the silverback stabbed all of its legs into its thorax, and when it lifted its head to screech he grabbed and ripped it off its body before dropping it on the ground. Placing one foot on the carcass he began to beat his chest and let out a echoing roar.Once he was finished he came over to us.

Silverback: (Are you all alright?)

Lin: (Are we alright!? Brutus, that thing sent eight of its legs into your sides!)

But when we all looked again it was just replaced with a small scar. He was still in this new form as well, is it permanent?

S.Y.S.T.E.M: It appears the silverback may have evolved into a Hell Ape.

Could you explain further please?

S.Y.S.T.E.M: Of course. As they were engaged in combat, the spider was able to penetrate his thick skin. So to combat this his body had to quickly adapt, reinforcing the skin and adding tougher fur to prevent an object from even reaching the skin.

So our bodies are able to adapt to our environment even in battle?

S.Y.S.T.E.M: Correct, but it drains a great deal of energy. The silverback could have passed out from exhaustion, giving the arachnoid a chance to deliver a lethal blow. By the way user, you have gained a new level and increased attribute points. Would you like to invest a point in a class?

What's the difference between them?

S.Y.S.T.E.M: The Dark class offers great offensive capabilities. Allowing you to deliver powerful attacks with deadly speed and accuracy. If you invest enough points you may be able to call upon the dead to fight along side you.

The Elemental class allows you to manipulate the earth to your will. A good combination of defense and offense. You will be able to make armor, weapons, and structures out of nearly unbreakable materials. Enough points invested and you will be able to summon golems and forest spirits to aid you in battle.

The Light class is a powerful mage. Mostly a support unit this class is still effective in combat. Being able to summon weapons and armor out of pure light, and be able to heal and strengthen allies. A great investment will allow you to summon holy beings from the heavens to smite your foes.
