ELVIRA CARAXE had previously been described by her professor as a dreamer and a scribbler — happiest when she's sat in the window in her bedroom, either reading or crafting up a new story filling page after page with her written fantasies.

But she likes to think there's a lot more to her than just that.

With the ambition and enthusiasm of her father (who's currently M.I.A in the war), Elvira's set on two ultimate goals — getting into a school in London in order to pursue a career in writing, and finding her missing father.

The first goal, she's closest to. Regularly visiting the nearby town and selling her short stories has helped her with that. The second, however? Much more difficult. Elvira's sent more letters off than she can count in a desperate attempt to find her father. The British Army believe him to be dead. Killed In Action. Elvira refuses to believe so. Until she sees a body, she's certain he must be somewhere.

So, with her mother also not around, Vivian's spent the previous year living with her neighbour, Professor Digory Kirke. Despite being alone for the majority of the day, Elvira has little to complain about, being a new resident of this (very large) house. But she's not alone for long.

Four siblings shake things up upon their arrival at Kirke's household — and Elvira's glad of the company (especially from one particular blonde boy) — until Lucy, the youngest of these siblings, soon finds an entrance to an entirely different world — one of which, might be able to assist Elvira in her goal of finding her father.

And the girl soon realises the mystery behind his disappearance goes a lot further than she thinks.

Obviously I don't own or have anything to do with the Chronicles of Narnia, but I also just wanted to mention that — although generally, this plot idea is mine, it also includes concepts, elements and scenes that are inspired by or belong to other films and shows, such as Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, Bridgerton & Little Women.

(Of course you don't need to have seen any of these to understand this fic, but I thought I'd mention where I got my inspiration from!)

This is really my own take on the Narnia story, the majority of the original plot will be kept, there will just be additions that comes with Vivian's own storyline! Because of this, the timeline may be dragged out a little bit just to include more of a story! Hope that makes sense, don't hesitate to ask any questions if you're confused! <3
