Remember how in the last chapter I said I was out of town?

It turns out that the hotel I was staying at is really fancy..... and of course, me being me, I associate fancy stuff with certain books....

This fancy hotel reminded me of the Selection.....

The hotel had a dress code. After six o'clock, the women and girls had to wear dresses, and the men and boys had to wear a suit.

So of course I felt like I was selected because I had to wear a dress.

For dinner they served a five course meal. One of the options for an appetizer was snails........

^^ snails..... I didn't eat them 😂

They also had a ballroom they opened after dinner with a singer and a band and there were couples dancing. There was one couple that reminded me of Maxon and America.......... they looked like them and I had to stop myself from screaming "MAXERICA!"

They also had photographers walking around and taking pictures.

Oh! And there's not any cars allowed on the Island (the hotel was on and Island) so they had horses taking people in carriage everywhere.

AND....

SHOES. MADE OUT OF CHOCOLATE. My mom and I were going to buy one but they were $45.....

Idk where I'm going with this chapter....

If any of you live in Michigan you'll probably know what Island I'm talking about 😋
