Hyungs.
"Joonie Hyung!" I practically squealed, leaping into the buff arms of my longest term friend.
"TaeTae!" He responded, just as enthusiastically.
"Don't forget me!" We heard, before a third pair of arms joined the hug.
We all stood squished together for over a minute until finally pulling back.
I motioned towards the table with a smile, immediately cycling through which question I would want to ask my hyungs first.
Finally settling on one, I sighed. "Welcome back! How was Paris?"
"Paris was amazing," Namjoon started, only for him to be cut off.
Jin chuckled. "It was great, and a nice change of pace, but we're very happy to be able to move back to Korea after almost two years."
Namjoon nodded in agreement before his eyes narrowed slightly. "What's been going on with you? I notice... something on your hand."
Jin gasped, instantly taking my left hand in his, examining the ring on my finger.
I blushed, feeling my phone vibrate in perfect timing. "Well, funny you should mention the ring..." I started, clearing my throat. "My fiancè is excited to meet you both. He's on his way and should be here in just a few minutes."
"YOU HAVE A FIANCÈ?" Jin screamed, causing glares from nearby tables.
My blush deepened, this time from embarrassment. "I-I do. His name is Jungkook."
"Where did you two meet?" Namjoon questioned, taking Jin's hand in his to calm the oldest down.
I bit my lip. "We met actually in rehab. Well, more specifically in meetings, but during our rehab processes."
Their eyebrows quirked up in sync, almost making me chuckle.
"You're engaged to another recovering drug addict?" Jin asked, slight worry in his voice.
I nodded. "Yes, and before you mention it, we know that it's frowned upon. But we have already been through one of the worst things that could happen together and we've survived. When two people are meant to be, they always find their way back to each other."
"I couldn't have said it any better myself, Jungkook's voice spoke from behind me before he leaned down to kiss my cheek.
Before sitting down, he cleared his throat. "Jeon Jungkook, lovely to meet you both."
My hyungs stood up, shaking hands one at a time with the stranger.
As everyone sat down again, and awkward silence settled on the table until the waiter came to take our orders.
"Goddamn, this feels like Kook is meeting my parents." I mumbled under my breath, hearing a soft chuckle slip from Jungkook's lips.
His hand traveled to mine, giving it a squeeze before he looked up at Namjoon and Jin. "So, I'll be honest, I haven't heard how you three know each other. Do you mind me asking how you all met?"
Namjoon hummed while Jin snickered. I merely groaned. "Here we go," I breathed out, knowing Jin was going to be ecstatic to share this story.
As predicted, Jin's voice waa full of excitement. "I was a senior in high school. Joonie was a junior, and Tae was a freshman. We were all in our journalism class together, but never interacted with one another."
"Jinnie was the top of the class. Everyone wanted him for their projects because he was great at being in front of the camera." I took over, basically explaining the beginnings of Jin's modeling career.
"Tae was the naïve little freshman boy who wanted to float under the radar, but he also wanted to keep his grades up without attracting attention. He asked the teacher for ways to bring his grade up without having the class notice him." Jin continued.
Namjoon sighed. "Meanwhile, I broke four cameras in about a two week time period. The teacher insisted that if I spent more time around the cameras, that I would learn to take better care of them, and therefore break fewer of them."
"So, the teacher decided to assign us a special project, with me at the center. Tae and Joon were to help me with this project from behind the scenes, all for better grades and increased camera knowledge."
Jungkook chuckled. "Did it work?"
Jin pretended to flip his imaginary long hair with a smirk. "Well, I looked excellent. I don't remember how these two fools did, but we soon realized that we hit it off well. Here we are years later!"
"God, you make it sound like Tae and I were your assistants," Namjoon groaned playfully.
"Oh, you bitches were. That shit was The Jin Show!"
This made the table laugh loudly, until nearby tables glared at us.

The rest of dinner was full of laughter and smiles, until we were outside, about to part ways.
"Thank you, hyung, again for dinner," Jungkook said as he reached out to shake Jin's hand.
The eldest shook his head, pulling Jungkook in for a hug. "Thank you for taking good care of our Taehyungie."
After their hug, he shook Namjoon's hand, bringing a smile to my hyung's face before they, too, hugged.
Stepping back, my boyfriend wrapped his arm around my waist.
"We'll have to hang out again soon, hyungies! Have a safe trip to the hotel!" I shouted as they started walking towards their car.
"When we find a place to live, we will invite you over my child!" Jin responded, blowing kisses in the air and watching as I leapt up to catch one of them. With a smile, him and Namjoon climbed into their car and drove off, leaving Jungkook and I alone on the dark sidewalk.
Kook faced me, small smile on his face. "Did you drive here?"
I shook my head. "Nope. I didn't want to have to get gas. I took an Uber."
"Well, baby, if you needed gas, you should've just asked!" He joked, letting out a loud fart. I looked around to make sure there was nobody around to hear it while I smacked his arm.
"You're gross," I joked back, watching him throw his head back and laugh.
"Come on, let's get you home."
