Leedo howled, and that's all that took to scare Kanghyun.
Keonhee hissed, pulling Kanghyun away, eyes widening when Leedo turned his gaze to them.

"Leedo, no— stop! Calm down! He lost! You won!-"
"No.. they'll hurt me if I lose.. get rid of him.. loser..!"

Harin suddenly caught onto what the alpha was implying, a loud, threatening growl ripping through his throat.
"How about you fight someone your own size, coward" He snarled.

"Shut up.. just.. shut up! I'm not talking to you! COME HERE!"

Leedo came running at the two lower ranked wolves.
Keonhee pushed Kanghyun to run, who didn't waste any time on doing so.

"Go, go if you don't want to turn into shreds!" Keonhee hissed, shoving him on.
Harin ran right after them, and once he caught up, he lunged at Leedo and the two were sent rolling straight into a rock, toppling them over.

Leedo had enough of it, and bit into the elders neck, making him howl in pain.
Harin could feel the weight of the jaws pulling him down - this was one strong rival. Yet again, excitement pulsed through his veins.
Though he shouldn't be excited about near death.

However, the pain shot him like a bullet, which snapped him out of his episode.
Harin growled and made himself slam down, Leedo ending up underneath him, squirming on the ground.

"Hey! You two! Break it up!"

Harin heard a human voice shouting, and he looked back to see two zookeepers at the gates, holding what seemed like muzzles and ropes.

Leedo took the chance and kicked him off, claws scraping his stomach, making him whine out in pain.
"You fucking little- ah, that's it!"

Harin slammed him down and bit his hind leg - hearing a series of snaps and cracks.
The white wolf let out a howl of pain and broke away from him, the red tint in his eyes fading.

"FUCKING HELL! YOU BASTARD!"

"Well sorry that you tried to kill my friend a second ago there! Learn to control your temper and then we'll talk" Harin said with pure toxicity laced in his tone.

"You cracked my leg!"
"You'll be fine. Give it a few minutes to heal.. I swear, you'll end up dead one day because of this act you got going. NOW. Will YOU shut up, and talk to me about the plan I had?"

Leedo panted as he sat up, noticing the blood dripping down the black wolves neck.
"What plan?"
"The plan to get out, idiot.. Do you think I'm going to rot in a zoo? Of course I won't"

The other two appeared, though weary and hesitant.
Leedo picked up their scents and his mood changed again, trying to get up.
"Stay"
"Then tell that omega to leave!"

Harin raised an eyebrow mentally.
"Why?"
Leedo went quiet and then just shook his head.
"What did you want to say?"
"Nothing. Just tell me the plan. I'll try help to.. get you out of here"

"You know you'll be leaving with us. You're going to be going with us. You sound so off, jeez"

Harin sat them all down, the pain starting to travel to his whole body, which Kanghyun noticed.
So while he told them about the plan, the omega began tending to the wounds he got.

"Alright. I've done this trick before, so there's no way it won't work.
Tonight, one of us will to back to our human form, yeah? Start banging on the enclosure door. Complain that you got bit by one of the wolves in here and that you got stuck.
Wolves that pose a threat to human lives are considered too dangerous to keep alive, so they send them off to this place where they execute animals. Once the one that's in the human form gets out of this enclosure, you'll go find the key and open the door to this place. And then - we're out. Sound good?"

The others were dumbfounded.
"Yeah it's a weird and risky plan, sorry I never took leadership I don't know how this shit works"

"No, that's a fine plan. It gives us large hope, anyway.."

"If you say so. Ok. Who's gonna play the role of the human?"
"I can.. it's been so long since I've been in my human form, I don't want to be a wolf forever" Keonhee offered.

"Okay. Seems fair. So you know what to do?"
"Yeah"
"Alright, we'll play out the plan later. You can rest if you want before we go"

Leedo almost immediately dragged himself away from them, leaving the 3 alone.

"Do you know what's up with him? I'm confused on the part where he doesn't want Kanghyun near him " Harin asked, looking at Keonhee.

Keonhee hesitated for a small while.
"Well.. I'm not exactly too sure either. But I have a feeling it's because- okay, look. So Leedo had a mate called.. Xion I believe. An omega too, like Kanghyun. They were in a pack together, and the day Leedo got caught and brought here, he lost contact with him. A few months later, it was revealed that they found a body of a wolf, and.. it was Xion. He was murdered by some other wolf that was kept here", He said.

"I think he got so upset, he refused to engage with any omegas ever again. That's probably the reason of his aggression today"

The other two nodded.
"Oh.. alright. Now I get it—"
"Yeah.. that's all I'll tell you. I've shared far too many stuff with you two already, I'm not revealing more"

Then Keonhee turned and padded away into the cave that he shared with Leedo.

".. So in conclusion. Don't hang around that guy unless you want to be murdered" Harin said, looking back down at him.
"Seems fine with me. Never planned to anyway"

The two went back to the cave they first ended up in, Kanghyun heading away from the entrance and lying down.
Harin went to lie a bit away from the other, resting his wounds that still pained.

The clock struck - the middle of the day was finally announced.
