"A'right"

Files were placed on Myungjun's and Eunwoo's desk.
"New case. But this one is gonna take up more than a month, and there's no finishing this early, unfortunately. "

Myungjun's eyebrows furrowed at the thought, picking up the files.

"Dangerous, lone Alpha in the wild? And why dangerous?"
"The investigators said that they saw it regenerate a wound that would take months to heal in less than a day."

The omegas eyes widened.
"Holy shit."

Eunwoo scanned the files, taking a photo of the picture of the Alpha.

"Yeah. Looks like trouble, if you ask me. A shit ton of paper work, too. That thing nearly stands at 3.4 feet."
"Fucking hell! That's insane-"

Eunwoo uploaded the photos onto the computer in front of him, analyzing them in more detail.
He could make out where it was taken, and at what time.
His light glowed orange.

"It's in a forest.. but it's out of this town." Eunwoo said, and the two cops turned to him.
"Aha.. so. You're telling me, we have to leave the town and go after this thing?" Myungjun asked, turning to his co-worker.

"Basically. But you'll be able to come back after you get atleast one picture taken today, and maybe some evidence that it's still alive. We need to learn where it stays at most, what areas it sleeps in, where it eats, shit like that. If we could even get a sample of it to investigate its blood it would be good too."

"Oh, look Eunwoo. A job for you - sampling stuff." Myungjun said, slight disgust on the tip of his tongue as he thought about one of the incidents.

Eunwoo's light flickered green, before it went back to white.
"Would you be able to go today?" The co-worker asked.

"Yeah yeah whatever. No biggie- just have to go fill up my fuel in my car. Do we like. Bring guns or?"
"Bring one just incase. It's strong. They saw it tear down a pack of wolves, that's something. "

"Alright. Come on, let's go." Myungjun got up, motioning for Eunwoo to come too, who immediately followed.

"Sometimes I genuinely forget there is wolves out there who live the way they are supposed to." Myungjun said out loud.

Eunwoo nodded along.

"It is quite a sight to see. A wolf in it's natural environment.." Eunwoo said.
"Yeah.."
Myungjun broke out of his train of thoughts and got into his car, Eunwoo doing the same.

He drove out of the parking lot, and went for the gas station, where he started to pump his car with fuel, letting Eunwoo stay in the car.
The android studied the car carefully, noticing some changes.

There was a few of the purple liquid bottles in the back, there also was what seemed like a small freezer - with a few ice packs inside. A cat bobble head was in the front of the car now and a small bowtie was perched near the bobble head.

Myungjun payed for the fuel, before coming back into the car and starting it up again.
Eunwoo saw him load up his gun, and slip it into his pocket, before they drove out of the gas station, Eunwoo acting as a GPS as Myungjun's one was broken.

It was a very long ride for some reason, with only Eunwoo sometimes saying what direction he had to turn.

".. Eunwoo. Sorry about leaving so suddenly yesterday."
Eunwoo turned to look at him.
"You need not apologize for that. I wasn't hurt." He said flatly, as if programmed to say that.

Myungjun grimaced at the tone a little.
"Uh.. can I. Ask you a question?"
"Yes, Captain?"

"I might've already asked you this, but I was drunk yesterday so. I wouldn't remember much but. What body are you on?"

Eunwoo blinked, light flickering orange.
"What do you mean, Captain?"
"Like.. as in. How many times were you destroyed and replaced..?"

"Once. Only at the accident." He said.
"Aha. I see. Do you remember if it hurt?"

"I.. again, I cannot feel pain. But my vital chest component was damaged severely. I lost my balance, I was losing blood. All of my mobility cables were shutting off. It was a whole minute of suffering before I shut down my system. Though no, I never truly felt any real pain. Maybe frustration. But that was that." He said, looking at him.

Myungjun nodded.

Suddenly, there was a scraping noise, and their car lowered to the side out of nowhere, Myungjun pressing on the breaks as the car skid to a stop.
"What the fuck?!" He cursed, pissed off as he opened the door.

Eunwoo blinked, getting out of the car too, noticing that it was starting to rain.
He walked over to where Myungjun was.
"My tire! It's fucking deflated! This fucking bitchass- It was fine a minute ago!" He snapped, clearly angry.

"Do you have a spare tire?" Eunwoo asked.
"Obviously, it's in the back. But it's gonna take me 30 minutes to change the damn thing!"

"Make it 15." Eunwoo said, as he scanned the tire.
It had been pierced with.. a claw?
His scanner scanned the ground, and he saw a small, but very sharp claw, sticking out of the ground.
There was blood surrounding it, and the small, grassy area was moving a bit.

"Eunwoo. Get back."
"Right on it."

Myungjun took out his gun and approached the claw, aiming for it as it wriggled more.
Before he could process anything, there was a flurry of movement and high pitched snarls were heard.

Myungjun shot, and he heard a whimper, quickly looking down and seeing a coyote, bleeding.
"Oh shit." He breathed out, bending down and starting to take out bandages, when -

"STAY BACK!"

He jumped back, bumping into Eunwoo.
"What the fuck- out of all the things we could've encountered today, we got a fucking talking coyote!" Myungjun exhaled, eyes narrowed.

The coyote whimpered and whined.
"Who are you!? You reek of city." The coyote coughed, "And that guy behind you smells like metal cans."

Myungjun snorted and Eunwoo's light flashed orange.
"I am Eunwoo. We are here on an investigation. What are you doing out here on this deserted road, Sir?"

"Me? Fuckin' live here, don' I? But I was running away from a beast." The coyote shuddered.
"A beast?" Myungjun asked, looking at Eunwoo as if to say that this might be a clue.

"Yeah. Black fur, yellow eyes.. it started chasing me through the whole dang forest over there. It's lashin', there's expected floods on the riverbank and the lakes are already overflowing. What's it to ya?"

Eunwoo's light flickered yellow.
"That is an exact description of the wolf that we were sent to investigate, Captain. And the forest is just here."

Myungjun turned to him.
"And? What do you want to do? Go in that forest and get the thing? It's too dangerous, you'll only damage yourself." Myungjun said.

"I am programmed to achieve my mission. I must complete it. You must let me go, Captain."

"I said, no! I do not want to bring you to Electro.corp all tattered and shit because you decided to go out into the forest and fuck around with a 4 feet wolf!"

"Captain. I swear on my corruptive software, I will not come back damaged.  I will come back, 'squeaky clean' "

Myungjun glared at him.

"Were you fucking programmed with puppy eyes too? Fine. I swear to god, come back with more than a scratch, and I will dump you into Kira's litter box. Go on then! You have 30 minutes!"

Eunwoo nodded, shifting into his wolf form and running towards the forest.

Myungjun looked at the tire and then the coyote.
"Know how to repair a tire?"

"Repair a fucking what?"

Meanwhile, Eunwoo had run off into the forest, nose picking up a scent.
He sniffed around, trotting along the wet, muddy ground.

His paws sunk into the mud, tail swaying from side to side as he went along, before his light flashed red.
A massive figure appeared, wet to the bones, sitting down at a nearby river which was close to overflowing.

His pheromones were strong, and the dominance radiating off of him was something he didn't think was exactly humanly possible.

He turned off his scent, and started his stealth mode.
He knelt down into the grass, eyes focused on the wolf and just the wolf.

His software glitched and instructions popped up.

'Catch the Alpha'.

He finally lunged at him, sinking his metal teeth into the wolves neck.
The black wolf howled in pain, and he was surprised at the amount of strength it wielded.
He matched its energy, slashing his claws along its leg, but he was knocked down, the Alpha snarling.

"Who the fuck do you think you are!? And what the fuck are you!? Where's your scent?" He snapped, holding the android down.

"My identity is of no importance to you. What is important right now, is my mission."

Eunwoo flipped him around, and quickly scanned his features.

Pack named them Harin, assigned at birth f. 25 years old. Alpha. 3.4 feet in height. Injuries - infected leg bite, teeth marks on neck.

Eunwoo quickly sunk his teeth back into the wolves neck, making him yelp in pain.
He collected his blood, before he was thrown off and slammed into the tree.

His light flashed red - he needed photos.

The android snapped a photo of the wolf charging at him, sending it to Myungjun's phone, before he was mauled.

Harin snarled, jumping back when an electric feeling went through his mouth.
He licked the fake blood, spitting it out and looking back at Eunwoo.

"You're not a wolf.. I don't know what you are. But you better stay out of here, or I'll rip your ass to shreds." Harin warned, attempting to swipe at him one last time but Eunwoo dodged it quickly.

Harin scowled and trudged off, obviously very grumpy about the added injuries.

Eunwoo repaired his scratches quickly, checking to see if Myungjun texted anything back.
He hadn't, which was probably a good sign. Knowing the omega, he might've wanted to come and help him - which would have probably ended worse.

He got up from his spot on the ground, shaking himself from the mud.
His light flickered green as a message popped up on his software saying 'Mission accomplished'.

He finally started heading back, going back the same way he came from earlier on.
He shifted back, and saw Myungjun seemingly repairing the slashed tire.

Myungjun looked up when he saw the android coming back.
"You're in one piece, did you get anything?" He asked, trying to shove the tire back into its placements.

"Yes. I got a blood sample and I took a picture. I have also gotten the details of the wolf, Captain. "

Myungjun stopped.
"You did all that in 5 minutes?"

"6 minutes and 23 seconds." He nodded.
"Then we don't have to go on further? We can just go back?"

Eunwoo racked his missions tab, and nodded.
"Yes. I do not see the need to proceed on forwards whilst we have achieved our task."
"Alright then! Good job, now come here. Help me put this shit into its place."

Eunwoo went over to him and knelt down, starting to work on the tire.

They finished the job in 10 minutes, and Myungjun got back into his car, seemingly very relieved to not have to go further than he wanted to.
Eunwoo pulled up his uniform sleeve and took out his bottle cap from his pocket, meanwhile Myungjun reversed and turned the car around, going back from where they came from.
