When (Y/n's) eyes fluttered open as she began to wake up she sat up a few seconds later and let out a loud, long yawn. She was still recovering from her long sleep in the escape pod and from the concussion she ended up with, she'd been through a lot and she needed time to fully recover. After a few minutes she got out of bed and went to go brush her hair and teeth; wearing the same old clothes wasn't the most comfortable thing but eventually she would have something new to wear, she just needed to be patient. (Y/n) made sure to be ready by the time Regris came to get her so they could eat breakfast together in the cafeteria along with everyone else. Throughout the walk to the cafeteria she felt her stomach twist in anxiousness, although she tried to remain as calm as possible so that she wouldn't get an upset stomach.

After having a good night's sleep Regris felt refreshed and he felt normal when he first saw (Y/n), it was nice being able to hang out with the person he rescued. As usual, he was wearing his mask since he didn't feel comfortable showing (Y/n) his face yet; he would dissolve the lower half during breakfast, thankfully the upper part would keep the rest of his face hidden. When they walked into the cafeteria (Y/n) saw many of the Blades sitting down at different tables, she was relieved that Regris chose a not so busy place for them to sit. Before she could say anything a bowl of food goo was placed in front of her by another operative, one she might be working alongside in the near future. (Y/n's) eyes widened a little when she saw the bottom of Regris' mask fizzle away, revealing the lower half of his face.

"Did you sleep well?" Regris asked (Y/n) right before he started eating; he felt genuinely curious about how she slept since she'd been through so much, the young woman certainly looked a little better.

"Yeah, I- I did." (Y/n) replied shyly, picking up her spoon and getting it full of food goo prior to eating the light purple goo.

Regris wasn't sure what else to say, so he didn't say anything and began eating so that things between them wouldn't feel too awkward. (Y/n) cringed when she tasted the food goo, to her it tasted like jell-o that went bad, although she ate some of it anyway because she didn't want to offend anyone by not eating any. Throughout breakfast things between her and Regris were a little awkward, they were still getting used to each other and he was currently the only person she felt most comfortable sitting next to seeing as she'd spent the most time with him thus far. Everyone else couldn't help but sneak glances at the only human in the base, they couldn't be blamed though because it wasn't often that a human visited their base; even Kolivan, leader of the Blades, couldn't help but feel curious about her. Eating breakfast with Regris in the cafeteria was the first step towards (Y/n's) recovery, she was grateful to have him as a friend.
