Short chapter, sorry.

~Herc' POV~

John, Alex, and me all stare at the boy before us, all of us in tears. "Laf?.." I run over to one side of the bed, and John and Alex go to the other. I gently grab his hand and sniffle and the heart monitor suddenly starts going very slowly and I back up, Dr.Keith and nurses running in and removing us, saying we could watch from the window and I start sobbing.

his eyes suddenly snap open and he arches his back in pain, trying to escape the bed as nurses hold him down because he kept trying to grab at his wound.

He screamed and started trying to hit and kick the doctors and nurses,

"I WANT TO SEE THEM LET ME SEE THEM" he kept shaking and thrashing, trying to get away.

I saw a needle being put in him, and then him falling to the bed and the long beep.

The doctors tried, but they start wheeling him out after giving up, and I broke, screaming and sobbing.

It should have been me.

He shouldn't have died.

I loved him, I should have known it was him.
