~Laf's POV~

I wake up, and thank god we didn't have classes today, because it was 11 am.

I sit up in my bed and stretch, yawning, my face hurting.

The heck?

I realize it was from when I fell and chuckle to myself.

I slide out of bed and walk to my door and out into the living room.

I see Herc sitting on the couch, watching spongebob like a child, I miss him so much. I miss when he knew who I was, I miss when I didn't have to hide myself.

I'm snapped out of my thoughts and I realize I've been staring at Herc this whole time.
I'm so stupid.

"Hey Gil?" He looked at me, smiling ear to ear.

"Yes?"

"I'm gonna go hang out with John and Alex, okay?"

I nod and smile as he stands up and leaves.

I take off the mask and I start cleaning it since he is gone.

~Herc's POV~ (Alex, John, And Herc are at John's dorm)

"Okay guys I'm doing spying, I am going to find out who is really behind that mask."

"Wait what?" John looked so confused

"He's obviously trying to hide something"

"That's true" Alex but in.

Me and Alex were okay with it but John said if Gil caught us he's pinning it on Me and Alex.

"So how are you gonna do it-" Alex's phone rings and he shrugs and picks it up.

"Hello?" He puts it on speaker so we can all hear what this person is saying.

"Hey guys it's Peggy" She was whispering, weird.

"Look out your window, do you see me on the sidewalk?"

We look out "Yeah" we all say in unison.

"I just made eye contact with someone across the street, and they looked like Lafayette, and once he saw me he ran off"

They all gaped but waved it off

"It couldn't have been. He's gone" It hurt me saying that.

I was sneaking into my dorm as silently as possible, and see a mask on the counter, and the shower running, and I sigh, going to my room.

'Well that was a bust, I don't want to walk in on him showering'

(yes he does but still)

I laid in my bed and slowly fell asleep
