"So what happened to you these days taetae?"
Jimin questioned looking at Taehyung who seemed to be in deep thoughts.
"Huh?"
Jimin raised his brows at taehyung's response. He put down his drink and gazed at Taehyung again, who has his eyes already on him.
"Daegun called me and told me you weren't your normal self these days. Why's that?"
Taehyung sighed, planning to gave her an earful later on. But for now he was thinking of a way to avoid jimin's questions.
"Nothing chim-"
"Don't you dare lie to me."
Jimin glared at him, Taehyung zipped up his mouth. Jimin continued glaring at him and Taehyung finally gave in. He knew there's no way he could lie to his best friend.
"I-i saw him."
He uttered looking at the floor of the cafe. Jimin frowned not getting that 'him' at first but then realized.
"What!!"
He screeched, gaining attention from other customers. It felt like a déjà vu to Taehyung when six years ago he told Jimin about Jungkook for the first time, sitting in the classroom of their university.
He sighed wishing things would not have turned out like they're now. Jimin stayed quiet for a moment, looking down, getting all the information processed in his mind then finally asked Taehyung.
"Didn't he leave Korea?"
"He did.... He probably has completed his studies and came back."
Taehyung answered remembering Nara once told him that his boyfriend was a wealthy businessman.
"Where did you saw him?"
Jimin asked as he narrowed his brows. Taehyung chewed on his lips nervously.
"I-in my house."
Jimin's eyes widened as saucers as he stared at Taehyung.
"What!?? What was he doing there?!"
Taehyung sighed, preparing himself to tell the truth to Jimin.
"He's Nara's boyfriend."
Taehyung expected Jimin to go wild but what he saw was Jimin laughing hysterically, as he patted his own thighs. He frowned not understanding his bestie's reaction.
"Tae stop. This is impossible. Are you imagining him again these days."
"Chim....He's dating her.... It's the truth."
Jimin stopped laughing as he took in taehyung's hurt expressions, he scoffed.
"And i thought he hurted you enough. He's an asshole, I don't know why you even fell in love with him. I'm going to break his nose when I see him!"
Taehyung chuckled dryly. There were hundreds of reasons he had, for falling in love with him but then thousands to hate him. And on the top of them was abandoning his own baby.
"I don't care even if he's dating her. I have nothing to do with him anymore."
He murmured softly. Jimin smiled.
"You are still not good at lying bun."
Taehyung looked away. Jimin was always able to catch his empty words but why didn't the boy whom he loved was able to read his eyes.
The difference between Jungkook and Taehyung himself was that he knew where he was wrong and was ready to condemn for his actions, whereas Jungkook never even realized his mistakes.

"Ummm... Jungkook would you like to come home tonight? I'll bake a cake for you."
Nara spoke shyly. Jungkook clenched his teeth trying to control his irritation. .
"I told you I'm busy."
"C'mon Jungkook, we rarely spend time together."
Jungkook rolled his eyes as he stood up from his swivel chair and walked towards the big glass window of his office.
"So? Just because you want to spend time I should leave my work? Listen you aren't dating a jobless teenager. I'm a busy man, can't pamper you all time."
He only heard her breathing from the other side as she went silent.
"Okay...sorry. Will you be free on this Sunday?"
He sighed, there was something else going on in his mind.... And Sunday means he will be home too.
"Yeah I'll see you on Sunday."
"Thanks! Take care, Bye."
He cut off the call as he placed his palm on the glass.
'What am I doing?'
'Crawling back to the person who cheated on me, lied to me and hid things from me.'
'No Jungkook you aren't gonna fall in that trap again. Remember what his mother that homewrecker did, what he did.'
'You forgave him always, he's the one who destroyed our relationship because of his lies, you just ended the misery.'
'Just don't think about him anymore.'
He reminded himself and closed his eyes leaning his forehead against the glass.

It was Sunday morning when Taehyung heard Nara crying. He worriedly walked towards her room only to see her sitting in her bed sniffling and tissue papers thrown all around.
He slowly padded towards her and sat down. She didn't say anything, as she continued to cry. Taehyung started caressing her head not really knowing how to comfort her.
After a moment when she finally calmed down, he decided to ask.
"What's wrong Nara?"
She suddenly latched herself to him as she started crying more, Taehyung rubbed her back, trying to calm her.
"J-jungkook."
She stammered and now an obvious frown adorned taehyung's face.
"What about him?"
"H-he said he'll come to meet me today...."
She paused and sniffled.
"But then texted me he can't come. He's busy."
Taehyung heaved a deep breath. He didn't know what to think but somewhere in his mind he had an idea why he's doing this.
He doubts, No he believes that Jungkook don't love Nara. Because if he had, he wouldn't come to sleep with him at night.
And he....used to love Taehyung a lot, it's not that easy to move on right? He pushed all these thoughts to the back of his mind and opened his mouth;
"Maybe.... he's actually busy."
"No he's not! I feel like he's avoiding me because of--"
Taehyung stared at her waiting for her to complete her sentence.
"Because of you."
Taehyung paled hearing her words. She wiped her tears and clenched her fists.
"M-me??"
He questioned in a soft whisper.
"Yes you. You used to be his friend right? You must have told him something bad about me."
Taehyung stayed quiet as he remembered that years ago when Nara asked him about Jungkook for the first time, he told her he's his friend and was dating someone else.
"O-our friendship wasn't strong enough and it ended as fast as it started. I doubt he even remembers that we had some relation. I myself saw him after all those years on that day, when he came to meet you...."
"I don't have any connection with him anymore."
He blurted out with a heavy heart. She kept quiet for a moment, and then nodded in understatement.
"Sorry Tae for thinking like that."
"It's okay."
He hugged her and smiled lightly as she hugged him tightly.
'It's not new for me to be misunderstood and considered a culprit.'
'Cause in the end I'm always the one to blame.'
