I was supposed to start my new life here in America with my lovely sister, but no! She had to go back to someone who broke her heart a million times.. Like why girls are so dumb?

Wasn't Baekhyun enough for her? He's a good man I assume.. He even helped Areum, but why did Suzy not give him a chance? What is wrong with her? I swear I would kill Jungkook if he ever hurt her.. I should go back after I'm done here.. Either way what I've here which can make me stay?

I've landed an hour ago, and waited for the man who is supposed to take me to the company then, to my house where I will stay.. I will withdraw my booking on the hotel I had booked for me and Suzy.. For now I need to focus on my work, which was always my 1st priority after Suzy..

The man comes to pick me.. I hop on the car.. After 11 hours I landed on the ground, and now I can chill a little.. I pick up my phone, and chang the sim with the one that Seokjin hyung has given me.. I've to use this sim for all purposes.. If I use another sim, he would find it automatically, because my phone is wired with his computer.. And if I even turn off my phone for more than a minute, I may lose my life..

Yes, that's what Seokjin hyung told me.. He already gave orders to someone to keep an eye on me.. If I do anything funny.. I may never see the next day.. it's like I'm free but within a cage..

I sigh, and turn on the phone.. I call Suzy 1st.. Hyung already got the message that I landed.. I'll talk with him later.. Talking with her always works for me.. I wonder what she's doing right now..

On Call

" H-Hello.. Wh-who's this"

" Suzy it's me, Oppa.."

" Oh Hi Oppa, when did-did you land?"

" I just called you after touching the ground..

But what happened to you?

Why are you stuttering like this?"

Even over the phone I can feel the evil grin he throws at Suzy..

I hear some sounds again, realizing Suzy is taking the phone..

" Sir we're here.." The driver says, and I see the huge building where I'll work from now on..

She sniffs and cuts the call..

I take a deep breath and get out of the car.. My boot starts making sounds giving others some ideas that I've come here not to waste time but finish whatever the shit is going on.. I straight take the elevator, and go to the top floor to meet the CEO who is the owner of this building..

The ding tune can be heard for the 17th time, signaling that I've reached my destination.. The upper floor is less crowded than the lower one.. Only the important employees come here who work directly with the CEO..

I go to the office, pressing the bell when someone opens the door.. Giving my identity the assistant tells me to wait in the office.. Also he informs me that the CEO himself is not available today, so I've to talk with the manager..

After like 10 to 15 minutes, I hear the door cracking sound, indicating the manager coming.. The sounds of heels echoing the room as well as my ears.. I make myself presentable, and turn back with a smiley face, which turned into a shocking one..

Areum's P.O.V

" I'm her fiancé.."

" I'm her fiancé.."

" I'm her.."

That shiny thing is glistening on my ring finger.. My hand is shaking, tears fill my eyes, but still I can tell this is a rare diamond I've seen in my life, embraced by another bunch of diamonds, which will cost a fortune.. I look up at him, who holds my hand like he's determined to prove everyone around here that he's actually soon to be my husband.. His jaw clenches, breathing fast, where some sweat formed on his forehead because of the anger he's feeling right now..

He looks at me again, and smiles sweetly.. But alas I can't return it back.. I just swallow everything I could say to him right then and there.. I slowly hold his hand, and lose his grip on my wrist from him.. I'm seeing everything blurred in front of me.. The feeling I used to feel years ago.. I start to feel it again.. My heart is beating like shit.. I feel hard to breathe, so I run away from there, shedding another drop of tears..

" AREUM!!" Seokjin shouts my name, but I don't reply.. I pass the doorway and see someone standing there, struggling to stand still, when he looks at me..

Suddenly I start to feel cold in my heart. His eyes are somewhere getting dark, sulking the face he tries not to say any word, which is killing me even more. His eyes are clearly telling me what I have done. I tear my gaze from him, and start running.. I hear someone running behind me screaming my name, but that doesn't make me stop..

" You're fired Ms. Jeong.. And I will make it sure that no company will take you.. I swear I'll drag you to the road.. Mark my words.." Seokjin seethes at her, and starts running after me..

I cross the entrance, when he holds my wrist again, and I have to stop.. " Areum.. Baby what happened? Don't worry she won't say anything to you.. Why didn't you.. Baby look at me.. Areum.." He holds my face to look at him, but I close my eyes instead..

" Baby.. Aren't you happy about us? You're soon going to be my wife!! I'll give you a whole world, you deserve baby.. Please don't be scared.." He's smiling so sweetly... I can see how his eyes are sparkling like he's so happy that he finally has proposed to me.. That he can finally have me like he wanted.. As his wife.. And no one can ever take me away from him..

I hold his hands, and push it away from my face.. " I'll talk to you later.."

" But baby what happened, why're you not saying anything?" He holds my shoulder, when I see Taehyung coming behind us..

" Please let me go.." I whisper..

" Areum what happened?" Tension forming between his brows..

" Nothing.. I just want to get away from here.."

" Okay I'm coming with yo-"

" And from you as well.." I look at him, who takes a sharp breath.. I remove his hand from me, and start running without any destination..

" I knew you are dumb, but I didn't know you're this much dumb.. There's a term called permission.. Add this to your third graded dictionary!!" Taehyung says to Seokjin, and starts running behind me..
He knows very well what I can do when I stay alone, that also after being humiliated like this..

" Areum.. Once I found you, I'm not gonna leave you anymore.. " I look up at him.. Knitting his brown, he clenches his jaw.. He wants to catch me, and now when he does.. I think he won't let me go.. But what with this line?? He's saying this again.. Why? I can still remember when he said the exact same line in his sleep.. But after so long, why is he saying this?

" Taehyung, please let me go.. I've nothing-"

" I told you na I'm not letting you go? You can run away from this world, but not from me.. The more you'll try, the more I'll chase you until I can have you in my arms, Areum.."

" Why? Just why Taehyung? Just let me go.. I should be the same one who used to hurt herself, who used to let everyone know their position of whoever would cross their limits on me.. Why did I change myself, Taehyung?" I hold his collar, and start shaking him, but he hugs me instead..

Out of everyone Taehyung knows very well how to calm me down.. He has this power on me, that just his presence is enough for calming my inner demon down.. His heartbeat soothes my mind.. His massaging my scalp, caressing my hair calming me down slowly.. He cups my face..

" Let's talk about it.."

" Look Areum I don't want to be nosy, but may I know about your relationship? And why did he hide it from your workplace??"

" It's just we didn't want to make a scandal.. I always worked with Jimin, instead of him.. I go to his office once a day.. Of course about office related issues, and that's it.. In the institute he's my boss, I'm his worker that's it.. But in the house he's my boyfriend.. That's how things were going on.. I don't know what Seokjin has gotten into that he.."

" Don't you ever wonder why he wanted to hide you? It's not like you need his help, or something.. About the scandal, it was supposed to happen, today or tomorrow.." Taehyung takes a sip from his drink..

" It was me who told him to hide this.. I didn't want anyone to think I'm working here by using him, but I didn't realize things would turn out like this.. What was I even thinking?" I knit my brows..

He sighs.. " But what he did back there.. Wasn't right actually don't you think?" He looks at the ring.. I totally have forgotten about it, and now I remember.. I look at it, touching it with my fingertip.. It feels heavy on my ring, like a burden.. Just like my relation with Seokjin is making me feel

" Anyway I think I should go home.. Also I've to talk with him.. To clear the air between us.."

" Seriously you still want to talk to him, who just added the last stroke of you being humiliated in front of the whole world?"

I've had my enough..

I slap him so hard that he gets a shock.. I breath a little.. " You're talking about us? What about you huh? I don't know about us, but someone out there was waiting for you, where I was the one who fought with a world to make you united, and you just left her, don't know where, and came here to me doing all of these shameless acts, pointing out what my relation with Seokjin, where you became a fucking dick who left someone who loves you the most.. Me and Seokjin might not be on good terms, but I would never leave him when he needs me, nor he will.. Because you know what?? BECAUSE HE LOVES ME!!! HE FUCKING CARES FOR ME where you are just here to ruin my life just like you did years ago Taehyung!!!" I spit back at him, when he just stands there, lowering his head.

I look at him for the last time, and turn my back to leave.. " What about you?" He suddenly asks..

I stop, and he comes in front of me.. " Do you love Seokjin? " He says bluntly..

I knit my brows.. " Why do you even care? Don't you love Maya?"

" Yes.. I love her.. So much.. What about you?" After all of this time, still these words stab me like shit..

" I love him too.." I reply..

" You love who? " He raises his brow..

Just simple 3 words, still making me struggle to put them out, why? Seeing me silent, Taehyung chuckles softly.. He suddenly puts his finger on my chest, pointing at my heart.. " You need to lie to this to answer me.. Because you know it yourself why you don't love him.. And why don't you want him in your life.. And about Maya.. " He stops and I look at him..

" Maya was pregnant, Areum.." He whispers.. I gasp while widening my eyes..

" Wha-What??" Taehyung nods, and sighs..

Years Ago..

A/N P.O.V

Taking some deep breath she looked at the stripe.. This is the 3rd time in this month she's facing this situation.. Each and every time she looked at the result, and sighed.. Some teardrops soaked her lap, and that's it.. She didn't tell anyone about it.. Actually she didn't want to share the pain she was enduring.. But the light found the truth eventually..

" Maya.." Taehyung suddenly came into the bathroom, and saw Maya was whimpering.. Seeing him, she instantly hid the stripe, wiping her tears she looked at him, and smiled..

But Taehyung knitted his brows.. " What happened? "

" N-Nothing.. I just yawned so my eyes shed tears.." She said, trying to be like she's tired..

" It's 5pm Maya.. You never feel asleep in the afternoon.. I know you.."

" Aish but I'm feeling a little bit sleepy lately.. So what?"

" You slept for 10 in the morning today.. You're a morning person, how could you still feel asleep when you already overslept?" Taehyung sat beside her, as she was not leaving the bathroom.. Maya gulped a little, and squeezed herself.. Trying her best to hide the stripe from him..

" You seem so noticeable these days.. " She narrowed her eyes.. " What's going on in your mind?"

Taehyung just chuckled a little.." Nothing.. Just don't want to believe that the person whom I trust more than my life is hiding something from me.. I just don't want to accept it, you know.."

Maya's heart felt cold.. She took a sharp breath.. " What are you talking about.. Who hides things from you?"

" No one.. It's my hallucination actually.. I don't believe that person would hide something from me.. Because I know how much that person loves me, and knows that no matter what I would be by her side.." He sighed.. " Anyway.. Come outside.. I'm making dinner." He got up, and left the bathroom, but his feet stopped by a voice..

" It's negative.." He looked back slowly to see she's holding the stripe, while covering her face with her palms..

Taehyung sighed, and went back to her.. Kneeling in front of her, he brought out another stripe from his pocket.. When she looked at him with wide eyes.. He smiled, and slowly wiped the tears from her face.. " We share the same bin babe.."

Maya fell on her knees, hugged him, and started crying.. " Why can't I have anything I want Taetae? I just wanted a little version of us.. Is this too much to ask for? I'm going to marry you soon.. What else could be better than having your child in me, and saying yes to you? Why is my life like this TaeTae??" Nuzzling in his neck she started sobbing..

Taehyung didn't realize he would hit her like this, that she would say the deepest desire of hers.. He hugged her, and let her shed all the things she was keeping in herself..

After like an hour she calmed down a little.. Taehyung took her to the bed, and kept her close to him.. Caressing her hair, he started humming a little to calm her down.. " Now tell me everything.. Don't hide anything from me, okay?"

Maya nodded, and sat on the bed still holding the stripe.. She looked at him.. " I want a baby TaeTae.. I want all of you.. I want a version of you that I'll pamper just like I wanted.."

" Am I not enough for you? You already treat me like a baby!!" Taehyung rolled his eyes..

" That's called the way I love you.. That's not what I meant.. I just."

" But why didn't you tell me about it? "

Maya looked at him, and blinked sometimes.. " I just.. I just wanted to surprise you with.."

" Surprise?" He narrowed his eyes..

" It's your birthday in a month.. So I just wanted to give you something like this, but I don't think I would ever be able to..." She couldn't finish her words, when she sniffed..

He took her face in his palms..." Hey, hey it's okay stop feeling so bad about it.. You thought something so meaningful for my birthday that's enough for me.. I love you so much baby.. I don't need anything from you except you loving me back.." His face became soft, to see how much Maya thinks about him..

" You really love me? After all these years... Are your feelings for me still the same? Didn't it change?" She held his hands..

" Of course not.. What are you even talking about? I love you so fucking much that I can do anything for you Maya.. Did I ever do something that made you think like this way.."

She was silent for sometimes, that made him anxious until she shook her head with a smile.. He kissed her forehead, and smiled back.. " Come'on.. We're going to the doctor.."

" So how many times have you tried?" The doctor asked her..

" Umm I know nothing about it, but I checked three times since last month.. I already stopped taking birth control, and he didn't use any so.."

" Hmm, prevention is better than cure.. And I can see the history of both of you.. There's nothing wrong in it, but still we'll run some tests right now on both of you.. Just to see if everything is going okay or not.." She smiled at them, and took Maya with her..

After an hour the doctor came with the reports.. She saw the couple were holding hands, giving each other hopes that everything will be fine, when they saw the doctor's face.. She tried to smile and sat down..

" Mrs. Kim.. May I-"

" It's Ms. Cha still.." Maya smiled, and looked at Taehyung who just sighed..

" Okay Ms. Cha I want you to be honest with me.. And I'm keeping your partner here with you, because he needs to know about it.."

" What is this doctor? You're scaring us.." Maya's grip got tighter over Taehyung's hand..

" Ms. Cha, did he ever try to be rough on you without your will? Or has it ever happened that you felt he's hurting you?"

Maya gasped.. " NO!! He never did that.. He always takes care of it so that I might not get hurt.."

The doctor gulped, and took some breath.. " Ms. Cha... Has it ever happened that you bleed after the 1st time, when you guys did intercourses?"

Both of them looked at each other with confusion in their faces.. " No she-"

" Yes..." Taehyung's word got cut by Maya, when he shot looked at the pale state of her..

She lowered her head, where her grip on his hand lost a little, as she was shaking.. She gulped, and looked at the doctor.. " This happened.. I... He made me bleed.." She said lowly..

" Ms. Cha... Were you.." The doctor was struggling to form the word, so Maya said it instead..

" I was raped, doctor.. That is also brutally.. I'm still carrying the marks he gave me that night.. I-"

" It's okay if you don't want to talk about it.. Please calm down.."

" I'm absolutely fine doctor.. You wanted to know did I bleed or not? Yes.. That rapist made me bleed where I felt like I was dying.. It was like he was killing me with those stares, with all of himself.. All I felt at that time was pain.. You don't know how many times I tried to scratch my own skin to remove his touch from me.. Even till now I shiver, and feel like he's touching me.. He ruined my whole life.. He.." Maya was giving hiccups, when Taehyung held her from the side.. She was shivering under him, when the doctor offered her a glass of water..

The doctor offered them to come someday later when they might be okay with the results, but Maya became stubborn that she had to know what was going on, that why she couldn't have his child, and what was the relation with Jonathan doing something to her.. Something needed to be cleared here, so the doctor had to ignore the state of Maya, because they needed to take further actions as soon as possible.. " Ms. Cha, are you sure you want to continue?" She asked, knitting her brows..

" Please doctor, I've suffered worse.. I just want this to end.. I don't want to hear his name anymore, please.." She pleaded.. Where Taehyung patted her shoulder..

" If you say so.." She left a big sigh.. " Apparently whatever you shared with me.. Look, intercourses should be pleasurable.. It shouldn't hurt that much that'll make you bleed, except the 1st time.. That is also a rare case.. It's a rumor that a girl has to bleed for the 1st time.. Taehyung slowly looked at Maya.. Maya gulped harshly, when teardrops on her lap.. Her mouth was open a little.. She took a sharp breath and looked at the doctor.. "Why is it getting negative each and every time? What I need to do to make it positive.. It happened years ago.. What should I do, what medicine should I take, or any therapy please tell me I- I would do anything please tell me doctor please.." Taehyung tried to calm her down saying they should come another day, but Maya didn't listen to him..

" The fetus was getting hurt each and every time which is the reason the bubble burst, and the baby died instantly.. And.. " She stopped..

" And what doctor? Is there anything else left for me to bear after this? Just spill it already!!" Maya raised her voice.. She was trying so hard not to snap, but she failed.. The doctor closed her eyes and gulped..

" He hurt you internally Maya.. I'm afraid you can't get pregnant anymore.."

Areum's P.O.V

I fail to control myself, and sit on the bench, letting myself go.. How much will he hurt people? Wasn't that enough to treat me like an animal, that his twisted fantasy didn't bother to do something like this to a girl..

" All she wanted was just a baby from me, Areum.. She wanted to have a little version of us.. She just wanted to have a happy family with me.. Jack took that away from me too.." I look at him..

Carefully he wiped his tears.. I let them be united, and they were supposed to start a family.. Where they would share nothing but love, and care.. Why did Jonathan have to do this? How could he do this? How could- Suddenly something hits me..

" Taehyung.." I call him..

" Yeah.." He sniffs..

" If Maya is facing something like this... What are you doing here?" Taehyung licks his dried lips, and tears his gaze from me.. I stand up, and make him face me..

" If Maya wanted to make a family with you, she'd still have you.. You can be her everything and anything.. All she ever wanted was you.. So what are you doing here, where you were supposed to be with her?"

" Areum I-"

" Did you really leave her in this state??" I swear I'll kill him today if he says yes..

" Areum listen to me at l-"

" Yes or no Taehyung?"

He says nothing.. He lowers his head, feeling embarrassed to meet my eyes.. I get the answer already.. I grab his collar, and make him look at me.. " How could you?" I ask in disbelief..

" That girl faced a fucking hell just because of you, and when she wanted to restart you left her in a state where she needed you the most?? And you came here saying bullshits, doing all the cheap things to me for what? FOR FUCKING WHAT TAEHYUNG?!"

" Areum please calm down, just let me-"

" SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" I push him away from me..

" How could you, Taehyung? Why did you do it? JUST WHY?!" How many times will I make the same mistake of recognizing people's real faces?!

" Areum at least listen to me please!!" Taehyung holds my hand, but I jerk him off..

" Areum please don't make assumptions.. Areum please.." I walk past him, and start walking ignoring all the screams I am listening from him.. At one time it has stopped.. When he says something I don't listen though..
