There were times when people only thought about themselves, and only about themselves.. But suddenly they felt that something was not going right.. So they try to search in other people's lives which were tied with them..

As Taehyung was feeling right now.. Everything felt like a nightmare to him.. He didn't know how to put everything in line.. 1st he saw Jimin after not knowing how long.. Then Areum with him.. Felt like they were arguing over something.. Why did Jimin start hitting me that also for Areum.. Who Areum is to Jimin?

He rubbed his face in frustration.. " TaeTae.." Someone caught his attention..

" Everything okay?" Maya sat beside him, and asked..

" I don't know.. It's like something I don't know.."

" What are you talking about? Where were you last night? You didn't even tell me about these bruises.." Maya took the wet towel, and started cleaning the dried blood from his chin..

" I saw Areum last night.." Maya stopped..

" Wha-What??" A tension could be felt in her voice..

" I saw her on the street.. I thought she was about to hurt herself again, so I followed her.."

" Again?" Maya asked in disbelief..

Taehyung cleared his throat.. " Well Areum has this bad habit of hurting herself, whenever.." He sighed.. " Whenever she gets hurt mentally.."

" Ohh.. So you stopped her right??"

Taehyung looked at her, and told her everything that happened.. Maya gasped hearing all of these.. " So where are they now? And why are her brothers lashing out on you?"

" Because in a way I'm responsible for this.."

" Seriously how? Why're you blaming yourself?"

" Something is not coming in line.. I'm missing something that I need to know long ago.." Taehyung started thinking..

" But how do you know when you don't have any clue about it.." She said..

What is happening with her we don't FUCKING KNOW!! Now you're concerned about her, huh? Keep your act to yourself.." Jungkook was about to shut the door again..

Taehyung had his enough.. He pushed Jungkook, and stepped inside.. " Either you'll tell me, or I swear the minute I'll see her again no matter when.. I'll ask her by myself.. And let me tell you, you don't have any fucking idea about my connections.. "

" Why do you even care, Taehyung? You didn't even care for her.. You left her, remember?" Jungkook mocked him..

" Which was the mistake I can't repay.." Taehyung lowered his head.. " Look I know I've hurt her the most, but what I've seen last night.. Something happened to her.. Long before I came.. Please Jungkook, I'm begging you please tell me what happened to her.. Please.."

Taehyung didn't reply to him, just closed his eyes.. Jungkook huffed, and turned back to leave him..

Holding the hair brush, she was in her own dreamland, doing a concert for all of her plushies, who are kinda enjoying this free show.. But her concert had to get distracted by someone's call..

" Areum!!!"

" In a minute Oppa.."

There she was.. Looking at herself in the mirror.. While air drying her wet nail polishes.. With a little hint of makeup she was looking stunning.. Twirling a little she adjusted her Ombre skirt, with a tank top.. She put on the jacket, and headed to the entrance..

Yoongi looked at her, and smiled a little.. " I told you, you don't need makeup.. You're already beautiful Kuzi.."

" Aish Oppa I just used some lip tint, that's it.. It's my natural blush, see.. " She blinked her orbs to look cute, where Yoongi chuckled.. " If you say so.. Let's go.."

They hop on the Jeep.. Yoongi started the engine.. " Where's your phone??"

" Here.." Areum plugged the earphone, and started listening to songs..

" Save the battery for later.. I'll call you okay?"

After a while

" I'll see you later.. All the best for exams.." Yoongi kissed her forehead, and let her go.. She was still wearing that headphone, and was jamming with a song..

Suddenly someone touched her hand, and she stopped in the middle.. removing the earbuds from her ear she looked back, but didn't see anyone..

She shrugged it off, and looked in front of her, and screamed.. " WHAT THE FUCK??!!"

A week later

Jonathan started stalking her without letting her realize.. And Katherine being her best friend made it easy for him.. She didn't know about their bet, but she knew Jonathan somehow wanted to talk with Areum.

Each and every day he'd come to them, not letting anyone realize he was here for something, or someone..

Until one day..

It was a shiny summer day.. Areum, and Katherine were in the canteen.. " Yah, will you stop gazing over that mirror? It's just a pimple scar, it'll go away, chill.." Katherine said, where Areum was nagging over a pimple she accidently popped..

" How could I ignore it when it's literally on top of my nose??!!"

" Just use some scar cream.. It'll go away.." Katherine rolled her eyes.. And Jonathan suddenly came and sat in front of them..

" Hi ladies.."

" Jonathan.. You're here?" Katherine asked, frowning her brows a little..

" Y-Yeah I saw you far across the room, so thought why not spend some time with you.. And also this beautiful lady here.." Jonathan looked at Areum holding the softest look he could carry, giving her a vibe that he meant no harm..

Areum for the 1st time looked at him, and smiled.. A boy in his early 20s. Must be her senior.. With a t-shirt, matched with a shirt on top of it.. A chain could be seen on his necklace, dangling as he's moving his head.. A pair of dark brown eyes, with full lips, a brown haired guy.. Any girl might find him hot at a 1st glance.. Jonathan smirked a little seeing he got Areum's attention..

" I guess you're a fresher, as I'm seeing you for the 1st time.."

" Mhmm.. I just enrolled here.." Areum said, smiling a little..

" Great.. It's Jonathan.. I must be your senior.. But you can treat me as a friend.." He extended his hand to shake with Areum's one..

" Lee un Areum.. Nice to meet with a senior who doesn't flatter like just because he's a senior, he needs to be respected.." Areum chuckled and took his hand fondly, and shook..

Jonathan narrowed his eyes, and smirked widely.. For a split second Areum might notice something was off in him, but she brushed it off, and started talking with him..

" But how do you know Katherine?" She asked..

" Well because-" Jonathan got cut out

" Because of me.. Baby you even hide me from your best friend? Rude.." Hyeon came and sat beside her..

Hyeon kissed her again, and she kissed him back.. Areum raised a brow, and looked at Jonathan who just shook his head in disappointment.. " Guys we're in a public place?!"

" Aish sorry.. Areum.. Sorry to keep you in the dark, but he's my boyfriend Hyeon.. He's also Jonathan's best friend, so in that way he knows me.." Areum widened her eyes and smiled.. " Really? You should tell me before.." Areum slapped her arm..

" Well now you know about us, so will it be okay if I steal my girl from you guys?" Hyeon asked, not even letting anyone speak again, he took her hand, and started dragging her out from the canteen..

" I'll call you at night!!" Katherine said, and started giggling with Hyeon..

" Seriously, she ditched you?" Jonathan pinched..

Areum sighed, shaking her head she started organizing her stuff.. " I've a class in 15 minutes.. Nice to meet you.." She bowed, and turned back to leave but Jonathan stopped her..

"Wait.." She turned back..

" C-can we meet after your class if you want?"

" Umm why?"

" Well for nothing actually.. I just wanted to have a good conversation with you.. over a coffee maybe??!!" He pleaded..

Areum sighed.. " If you want to ask me for a date, be straight forward. And sorry to disappoint you, but my brother will come to pick me up.. Have a great day ahead.." She bowed again and left the canteen..

Jonathan clenched his jaw.. " Not today.. But tomorrow, or the day after.." He chuckled.. " I'll catch you, Areum.. No matter what.."

Days were passing and Jonathan started showing how much he wanted to talk with her.. From sending his number, helping in exams, to sending gifts just to show how much he adored her..

Jungkook saw all of this, and informed Yoongi.. Yoongi confronted Jonathan not to disturb her.. He stopped for a week, but this time he started blackmailing her, that also emotionally..

One day Areum was in her room, trying the new outfit she just bought today.. When her phone buzzed.. Jonathan wanted to facetime with her.. She got confused.. Yoongi told her not to engage with him, so she cut the call.. But he called again..

Each and every time she cut the call.. Suddenly she got a message from an unknown number.. She was getting really frustrated so she opened the message, and gasped..

Jonathan sent her some disturbed images of him cutting his own hand, by a fruit knife.. He already slashed two to three times, so the cloth underneath got soaked by his blood..

Areum widened her eyes.. Her hands started shaking seeing the horrific scene in front of her.. She dropped the phone on the bed, when she jumped a little by hearing another pop sound.. It was Jonathan..

" Pick up the call or the next cut will be directly on my wrist, and I'll poke out the veins until it tore apart.. I mean it!"

Areum threw the phone, and started panting... Yoongi was in the other room.. She couldn't even call her brother, this much scared she got..

Her phone rang again, and she held her ears.. But the ring didn't stop.. She closed her eyes, thinking it might stop but it didn't.. So she took all her strength, and held the phone with her shaky hands..

It was Jonathan.. She gulped, and pressed the green button.. The 1st thing she saw that bloody knife.. She tried to stay normal as much as possible, not letting Jonathan know that she got hella scared..

On Call

" Areum.."

" What nonsense is this?"

She replied with her shaky voice..

Jonathan showed his face.. Looked like he cried.. His puffy eyes, runny nose made it like he's suffering a lot..

After settling down, Areum was feeling too much uncomfortable around him.. His eyes were piercing her with full of lust.. She looked around her.. Felt like all the eyes were on them.. She cleared her throat to start the conversation..

Areum knitted her brows.. She was cursing herself for coming here.. Jonathan noticed it..

I don't know but the day I 1st saw you.. I can't take you off from my mind.. I-I tried so hard to stay away from you, but I couldn't.. Which is why I tried to talk with you, but your brother warned me, which I didn't like that much.."

" That doesn't justify your action.." She replied blankly..

" I know.. But you see I couldn't even think properly that I had to hurt myself like that.. It was never my intention to scare you, rather I wanted to make you feel you're safe with me.."

" Cut the crap Jonathan.. You wanted a date with me, and I came.. I hope you'll stay away from me.." Areum stood up fixing her dress, where Jonathan literally was ripping her dress off with his eyes..

" I will show you I'm not like this.. Please give me a chance, Areum.. I'm not like this.. Please, I've fallen for you!!" Jonathan held her hand and pleaded..

" That's not needed.. I wish you all the best.. Thanks for the coffee.." Areum bowed, and left the place..

But Jonathan didn't stop there... He thought scaring her like that will make his plan easier, but by his surprise Areum blocked him from all the socials, and the more he tried to approach her, the more she denied..

Until one day she faced an accident, and broke her leg and Jonathan was the one who took her to hospital.. No it wasn't Jonathan's idea to hurt her.. It was actually an accident, and Jonathan took the chance to show her, and her brother that he cared for her..

He was there for her everyday.. She couldn't even walk, or move, and Jonathan took care of her like a baby.. Seeing how much Jonathan is concerned about her, made her think like maybe Jonathan really cares for her..
She started to lose her guard day by day.. Her brother also had no problem with it, as Jonathan never tried to do something with her.. He'd close the eyes with Areum when the nurse will inject her with some medicine.. He'd feed her every meal, talk with her, and make her happy..
If she ever felt pain Jonathan would start talking with her, trying to divert her mind with his stories.. But in this term he never tried to approach her..

Because he stored that for some other day...

Jonathan saw the changes in her.. She felt happy when Jonathan came to visit her.. He'd give her flowers, and chocolates to make her happy.. Even in college he'd stay with her all the time, as Areum was a fresher, so Jonathan helped her a lot during that time..

Days were passing like this, and it seemed like Areum forgot what act Jonathan played when she didn't respond to her.. And that is the thing Jonathan was looking for..

He took each and every step very slowly so that Areum could fall on his trap without even realizing it.. There were so many times Areum avoided him, but he knew she did this to test him, that was he actually stopped doing those things or not, and Jonathan acted like a professional, that Areum had to fall into his trap..

His birthday came and he invited Areum over to his house because he threw a party, and all of his friends were invited.. She was hesitating a lot, but when she heard Katherine would be there too, she accepted..

The second big mistake of her life..

7.15 PM

It was 15 minutes away from her house, and she decided to look pretty for Jonathan.. Yes she started kinda liking Jonathan.. The way Jonathan took care of her, it was the 1st time someone cared for her after her hyungs.. She was smiling by herself thinking how much happy he'd be when he'd see her.. She wore a beautiful off shoulder dress which flowed right above her knees.. With a little hint of makeup, and wavy hair, she was looking breathtaking.. Katherine called her telling that she's outside with Hyeon.. She took her clutch, and left the house..

Forgetting the phone that was charging on the nightstand...

Yoongi was outside the town, and Jungkook was in his room, talking with some girl.." Kookie, I'm leaving.. I'll come back before midnight.." She knocked on his door..

Jungkook jumped off from his bed, and opened the door.. " Where are you going late at this hour??"

" Oh it's Jonathan's birthday.. He invited me to his house party.. Katherine will be there too.. So-"

" Did you inform Yoongi hyung?" Jungkook stopped her..

" Shit.. Can you please tell him, I'm kinda getting late, and Katherine is outside.." She pleaded..

" Areum.." He stopped.. " I don't want to meddle in your personal life.. but, be careful.. I don't get a good vibe from Jonathan so.."

" Kookie.. He's a good person.. You saw how he cared when I was in hospital.. Today I'm standing on my legs, thanks to him.. He won't do anything.. You care too much for me." She pinched his cheeks softly..

" Can I join?" Jungkook said suddenly..

Areum startled a little.. " I- umm will it be a good idea?"

" Why not? Are only invited ones allowed?"

" I don't know I-"

" Great.. Look I'm already in my jeans, lemme just throw a shirt on me, and I'll be ready.." Jungkook didn't even let her reply and shut the door..

After 5 minutes he came back..

" I'm back, bish.." He winked..

" Careful with those folding sleeves.. You really gonna leave me today I swear.. You're sticking with me to catch birds ha?" Areum mocked..

" That's the plan!!" Jungkook said with a cheeky smile, hiding the fact that he couldn't let Areum go alone..

After Katherine saw Jungkook was joining them she started behaving differently, despite Hyeon was there with her..

" Jungkook-ah I was really hoping you'd come.. Seriously a party without you.. I can't even think of it.." She said, while sliding an arm over Jungkook's arm.. Hyeon was talking with someone on the phone so he didn't notice..

" Well I'm not a boy who wastes his family's money, and parties 24/7, so yeah you can think of a party without me.." Jungkook jerked her hand off, and pulled Areum closer, and held her shoulder.. He eyed Katherine, and started walking..

" Babe why're you waiting here? They've already started walking.. Jonathan is waiting for us.. Let's go.." Hyeon held her waist, where Katherine just gritted her teeth, and started walking..

8.45 PM

They went to his house, and the whole house was already jammed, but she could see Jonathan already got wasted, and the party hadn't even started yet..

Jonathan noticed them, and waved.. He came like he was waiting for her.. Pushing everyone whoever was coming on his way.. Seeing this, Areum smiled a little..

" Areum you came!! Thanks a lot!! I thought you won't make it.." Jonathan suddenly hugged her.. She flinched a little, but hugged him back..

They parted, and Jonathan was about to kiss her, when a voice interrupted him... " Do you know it's a crime to touch someone like this without her own will?" Jungkook said

"Oh hi Jungkook!! It really took me by surprise that out of everyone, you came to my birthday party.. Thanks a lot.." Jonathan ignored his comment, and extended his hand towards Jungkook..

Jungkook looked at Jonathan with dead eyes, but because of Areum he shook hands with him.. " What can I say.. Someone can't even take care of herself, after she becomes wasted so.."

On the other hand, Jonathan brought Areum in the middle of the room.. He looked at her with soft eyes, and smiled.. " I don't know what I'm doing but I must say one thing.. He slid his hand inside his pocket, and let out a velvet bag.. He opened it and showed it to her..

Areum widened her eyes, and Jonathan slid his hands behind her neck, and locked the necklace's lock.. He smirked a little, which was totally ignored by everyone.. He rested his forehead on Areum's one.. " I hope you'll wear this all the time.." He whispered..

" I will.." She smiled..

But she didn't notice Katherine was wearing the same necklace..

Jonathan suddenly dragged her, and took her to a room.. and locked the door..

" Jonathan what is this, your guests are waiting for you.. What are-"

" Right now you're most important to me.. And from today.. Call me Jagiya..." Jonathan pulled her close and held her chin, and whispered..

He pressed his lips on her, and kissed her so softly, and delicately, that she literally melted in him.. Before this she kissed Jungkook, but that was so awkward, but this one felt real to her.. She closed her eyes, and placed her hands on his chest, started to feel the new feeling she was having, when Jonathan opened his eyes..

Still kissing, he slid his hands behind her.. Taking a bottle of something, opened it, and put some sticky glue type thing on his finger..

For some seconds he stopped breathing, and brushed his fingers over her nose, and slightly parted his lips from her..

The moment she felt him away, she opened her eyes, to see Jonathan, with a smirk plastered on his face.. Slowly her vision started becoming foggy, and started spinning.. She held her head, and felt something sticky underneath her nose, she touched it, and looked at it.. A thick liquid with a strong scent, that can make your whole world spin..

She looked at Jonathan again.. " Jonathan.." She whispered, and passed out on the floor.. But before her eyes closed she saw a face that questioned her whole life..

Jonathan grinned widely, and leaned forward.. She pushed Areum who was already breathing slowly.. " I'm sorry baby.. But you looked so tired.. So I had to make you fall asleep.. " He opened the drawer from the table, and took an injection and a tube.. Pushing the tip of the injection inside the tube, letting suck all the liquids of it, he pulled out the needle.. Moving some hair from her neck area, he didn't stop, but pushed the whole liquid at one time.. " This will be enough for tonight.. Don't worry, love.. I'll inject you after every 6 hours.. Sleep well..

" Because after that I myself don't know if you ever get to sleep." He laughed loudly

" Are you fucking crazy or what?" Jungkook was about to punch him, but he already blocked him, and punched him in the abdomen a few times, that Jungkook started vomiting blood.. Jungkook fell on the ground, and Hyeon hovered over him..

" How fucking dare you to take Katherine away from me you motherfucker?? " He started punching him until he passed out..

He stopped, and breathed a little.. " I hope you're seeing stars now.. Piece of shit!!" He slid his hand inside his pocket, and pulled out an injection.. He threw the cap, and directly pushed the needle in his flesh, and emptied the injection.. " Have fun in dream bitch!!"

He got up, and panted a little, and went to the house from the backdoor..

He went directly to Jonathan's room, and what he saw literally made it difficult to stand on his ground..

Jonathan, and Katherine were making out, where Areum was laying lifelessly on the bed..

Hyeon couldn't believe his eyes when he saw them.. " You fucking slut.." He whispered that it caught the attention of love birds..

Areum started hearing some sounds, and she could feel someone was there in a room.. She tried to open her eyes slowly, but shut it down again due to heavy light, but opened them again..
