Areum's P.O.V

We all stop and look at each other then again look at him as he's laughing a lot without even realizing that we're looking at him and smiling a bit on our own. It's actually a rare case to all of us that a patient who literally did something we fear the most last night is smiling like this.
It's a good thing. On the other hand a bad one as well. Good thing is maybe my hard work is paying off and he's gathering his actual personality little by little, or he's gonna do something really problematic.

He stops after a bit and looks at us scoffing a little. " You guys are too funny. You were literally looking like nursery kids back then. haha"

I can't move my eyes from him. Who will say that this is the one who was stabbing like a maniac and became mad last night, after seeing his beautiful smile. I saw his dark side, I saw the side people scare the most, it was me all the time who showed the good side of everything. Never have I realized his good side can be this overwhelming. Never have I ever thought his laugh would make butterflies in my stomach. I don't know about him, but I fell in love with his smile and I'm never gonna fade it away from now on.

Jungkook gets off of me and I get up too as I straighten my posture. We all are looking at each other, and all of our faces brighten with a wide smile and happiness. I won't surprise if they don't show any interest about Tae, because he's only my patient, and nobody actually gives a fuck about him. It was me who always brought him between us. But seeing Hobi and Jungkook smiling with me literally makes me feel surprised.

" Congratulations!!" Hobi says lowly

" Well thanks, but still we have more ways to go. and this is the 1st step that Tae took by himself. Now I've to hold his hand to finish the road" I look at him, who is still laughing a little. I wish I could kiss his cheeks. For fuck sake what I'm thinking!!!

" Aren't we forgetting about something?? " Jungkook eyes at me

" Nope. What is it?"

" Areum I swear I'm gonna complain to Yoongi hyung."

" What will you say?? " Ah hyung you know I was kissing my girlfriend on video call, when Areum took some photos?" Please go on " I ease my posture, smirking.

" She's not my girlfriend, okay??"

" So you're making out with a girl without having any kind of relationship?? " Hobi says

" Where's the fun when there's no fear?" Jungkook smirks

" Oh let me show you what real fear is." With that I stand up

" Wher- You bitch wait till I catch you again " He gets up to chase me. I run to Tae, grab his hand and literally drag him out of the room.

" Wait the fuck up this is cheating." I hear Jungkook starts screaming, coming behind us.

" Ah this is what I'm living for " With that Hobi turn off the recording button.

We go to my room as fast as possible and lock the door behind us.

" Areum You're crossing your limit Open the door bitch." Jungkook screams

"Forget it" I say

" Lemme call Namjoon hyung then. You wait here." I hear the footsteps fade away after a while. I pant a little. He runs too fast. It's my luck that I get able to escape.

" Ooof that was close." I turn back and get captivated.

I totally forgot I locked not only myself but also Taehyung with me. And now when I'm in front of the door and turn around. He's in front of me

" U-umm " I clear my throat. " S-sorry to drag you here with me, or Jungkook will use you to make me delete those photos so." I look at him then force me to look down. Gosh his stare.

He tilts his head. His breath hits my face a little. I gulp hard. Everything about him became too intimidating after he woke up today.

" Ta-Tae c-can you mo-move please?" He replies by placing his palm on my right side

" Why? "

I look at him for a second." I. um. well you said we need to t-talk so."

" What's wrong talking here?" He places another hand on my left side.

I literally fail to form any words right now. He leans forward, matching my height. I can't help myself but look at him.

My heavy breaths giving him a show to enjoy. He scans my face. Heat blisters my face. I press my lips together and close my eyes. He dominates me while enjoying it.

" Tae please." I don't get any reply so I open my eyes and see he's standing a bit away from me and smirking a little. Did he really just play with me?

" I thought you'd get a heart attack so I moved on. Now speak." He moves away and sits on my bed. Like he really played with me. Again?? He's really making me confused.

I sigh and sit beside him. Well everything will be clear now. People only can dominate me when I let them. Well I gave him too much time to let him do whatever the fuck he wanted. Now it's time to take things in my hand. If he wants to play then let the game begin.

" So tell me. What did you want to talk about?" I straighten my posture when he looks at me. He gets taken aback but suddenly starts laughing.

" What?"

" You're actually like me huh? It didn't take a second to change your personality. You were literally under my dominance a minute ago, now look at you. ready to fight with me. You know I find this sexy when girls try to show she's tough but end up begging me."

" That's where you're wrong Tae. I've that power to make you beg me. Should I make you remember something??" I smirk a little. If he wants to hurt me, then I'll stab him. No one. Fucking no one can fuck about my ability. Not even Taehyung.

His face becomes serious. He knows the moment he starts saying harsh things to me, I will become like him. He never realized how he changed suddenly. But that's one of the many differences between us. He doesn't know what he's doing, where I know what I'm gonna do.

" Why did you kiss me? " He looks at me. I return him a blank stare that makes him startle.

" Because after that you came to your senses, which was my intention. Don't think like I wanted to fuck you in the middle of the jungle." He widens his mouth because I know he was about to say it.

But he smirks. " Did you really think I'll believe this bullshit?? It's okay you spit the truth at the end. Don't worry. Tell me anytime you feel horny. I would love to fuck the shit out of you."

" Well that won't be your cup of tea. Because if I really wanted to I would really let you fuck me that night. It's like you're not my type, and I don't fuck my patients." I shrug, and he leaves a deep sigh. He needs to know his position. He clenches his jaw and looks at me, while I get up from bed to take a book.

" I don't know if this will go into your dickhead, still I'm trying as it's my duty to clear my position. Well people like us have basically two personalities when we are diagnosed as a bipolar person. One held with our body, another with our mind. The more we take care of our mind, the more it takes care of our body. which is why I gave you some medication in the asylum remember?" He nods a little

" Because you couldn't process what brought you to this state, and until I get a proper idea about it. I can't show you the way you're looking for. but that asylum literally was suffocating you which is why you wanted to escape, but you didn't know where to go. So even if I let you go, you came back." His wide eyes make me smile.

" Anyway, moving on. So as I was telling about our personalities. Actually people say we've several personality disorders. Bullshits. Our mind and body are the only personalities that control us."

" Areum I asked you why you kissed me. Why are you taking my class?"

" I'm coming there. And you need to know what I'm doing with you."

I sigh ." For a normal person both of his mind and body works together and this is how humans live their lives. They don't even know that they're being controlled by their own body and mind. They thought they're controlling them." I sit beside him again. " But for us that's the main catch here. Our body and mind controls us and we know about it. But we don't know when our mind is taking over us, or when our body. As for you, that night you lost your mind which is why your body was reacting like that. I hope you remember you did the same 7 months ago. and Namjoon Oppa brought you to me. I mean this asylum."

I continue. " As for now your mind is controlling you. Your mind told you to show me that you can dominate me. Let's apply a theory on you right now ok?" I look at him. "Close your eyes and think that I'm your friend whom you can trust the most. Just try a little. Please."

He looks at me confusedly but closes his eyes. I wait for him to give me any kind of sign and I see how he starts struggling. How he knits his brows, his eyes crunch, his breath becomes uneven when he holds his head. And then I hold his hand as he opens his eyes.

" You can't do that. Because your mind is controlling you. You can't control it, Taehyung. Or you'll hurt yourself."

" Like you hurt yourself that day??" He asks. I sigh and nod.

" The reason I kissed you was because I sent a signal to your mind that your mind should start working or it'll be stopped forever." I tap the side of his forehead. "I tried to give you a physical massage by your body that should calm you down but it didn't. So I had to kiss you. Because sexual feelings always help us. To be in a sense. To live as a normal person."

" So we need to sex more then?? "

" For some people it's a part of their treatment but not for you. You need support. You need care. You need love. and a little bit of affection. and that's it" I smile and his face becomes soft

" What about you? You have everything that I need. Then why are you like me?? Why did you hurt yourself?" I see concern in his eyes, and my heart skips a bit. Is it normal to think for a person whom you actually don't like that much?

I sigh." This is the difference between you and me Tae. I'm a doctor and I can control myself when you feel pressure about it. I know how to work with my body and mind together. It means right now my mind is telling me to take the glass from the table and break it, and then take those broken pieces and cut your whole fucking body by it until this room become a blood pool. But here I'm. giving you some explanation you're asking for." I smile widely and he just gulps.

I come close to him." I control my mind, and when it gets a chance to attack back, I either make my surroundings hell or show myself a hell. I might look normal but every fucking second I'm fighting with my personalities." I move back and straight my posture

" You know the biggest difference between us?? You need me to help you. Where I'm the one who is helping myself. You don't know what you're doing. While I know how to work with every image my mind starts to take. In conclusion, I'm the one who's controlling your mind, and I'm also the one who is fucking with my mind as well. You can't even realize when my mind is telling me to rip off your head, while I was giving you some medication, and talking with you sweetly." He looks at the floor, dare to look at me.

I hold his chin softly and bring his face so close to me that he once thought I was about to kiss him but I whisper something.

" Never. Fucking. Ever. Question. About my ability. I would fucking kill you without even blinking once. Don't force me to bring my another side you could never dream of." And I release him. His leaves a sharp breath, and I get up

I take a deep breath. " So. Any more questions?"

" Last one."

" Sure"

" I'm a normal person who has become like this. I can't remember much, but my life was never like yours." He looks up at me. " You've everything a person could ask for. What made you become like me??"

My face becomes hard. He doesn't even realize which nerve of mine he hit. This time he gets scared by the way I'm looking. But then again I smile. " Sometimes it's good not to know about everything, Taehyung. Or your brain will blast by itself." With that I open the door and leave

Next Day

Evening Time

After yesterday I didn't talk with Taehyung that much. Well I couldn't get the scope. I don't know if he gets too attached to my hyungs. The whole day he's with them. Which is a good thing of course. I actually want him to socialize. How can I forget he hasn't communicated with anyone for more than a year. So it's good for him to communicate with other people than me.

But something is not making sense to me. I literally showed my dark side to him. Well slightest, but he's behaving like nothing happened. I'm not saying he's laughing like yesterday, or he's totally getting along with my hyungs. but he's acting normally with them.

Also about my hyungs they're doing something that doesn't actually make sense to me??!! Namjoon Oppa and Mommy were in Jungkook's room, and were playing UNO, but when I wanted to play, all of them left saying they've some work to do. I took this normally, but I was a little bit upset over Yoongi Oppa. I saw Yoongi Oppa was cooking. I was jumping like a little kid because it's been so long I didn't get to eat his dishes. But when I wanted to taste it, he clearly said no. I was a little bit hurt by it. He never talked to me like this.

Hobi was the one who was doing his work. He went to hospital, but came early and said he had things to do, and he was in his study room. I visited him and we talked about some issues, and I again came back to my room.

It was in the evening when Jungkook suddenly came into my room. " Areum"

" Hmm yeah?"

" Yoongi hyung is calling you" His face is so serious that makes me nervous. He never talks with me like this until it's serious. Also Yoongi Oppa is calling me then something really serious may happen. Wait.

Don't tell me Jungkook told him what I did. Shit. I rushed to the hall room thinking how to convince Oppa.

I run to the hall room then suddenly,

The whole room literally covers with confetti and I literally get showered by it. I don't know how many of it blasted, forget how many times I flinch, but all of them fall on me and as I was processing what the fuck is happening!!

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY AREEEUUUMMMMM"

I look in front of me and see all of my family members are in front of me.

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY OUR AREUM. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUU." With that Hobi and Jungkook starts dancing, while Namjoon Oppa, and Yoongi Oppa start clapping, and Taehyung is holding a cake???

I literally forgot it was my birthday. So this was the reason everyone was behaving weird with me!! Except for Hobi. I know why lmao.

" Happy Birthday baby. You become 22nd today ha?" Namjoon Oppa comes to me and holds my chin and kisses me on my forehead.

" Don't talk with me. Go play with this douchebag there." I point at Jungkook as he comes close to me

" If I'm a douchebag then you're a douchebag's childhood best friend that made you a douchebag too. So Happy Birthday douchebag!!" Jungkook grins.

" Yaah Jungkook stop it. It's our Areum day. We're gonna pamper her like a princess, okay??" Hobi says while hugs me

" As if you don't treat me like that everyday!!" I roll my eyes, and he chuckles.

" Because you're our princess." He holds my face and smiles.

" Kuzi." Yoongi Oppa comes to me. " Oppa, I'm not talking with you. You hurt me." I pout

" Well where's the love when there's not a little pain hmm?? Happy Birthday my Kuzi." He hugs me so tightly, and I can't help but hug him back. but his words kinda get stuck in my head. Why does he say that??

" I hate you Oppa." He laughs and holds my face." Still I'll love you till my last breath baby"

We hear a throat clearing sound and all of our attention goes to the boy who is standing there with a cake. He comes in front of me. He's a little bit nervous I guess. I guess this is all new to him after a long time

"H-Happy Birthday Areum." He says and my heart flatters. I wish I could hug him right now.

What are you doing to me Tae?

" Thanks!! It really took me by surprise. You are holding a cake that is also for my birthday. Thanks a lot Tae." I smile widely. I feel really happy that even after our last conversation, he tries to be normal.

" You know me, Mommy and Taehyung made this cake. Your favorite strawberry jam cake." Yoongi Oppa says and my mouth widens. WHAT??

I look at him and he just smiles a little and moves his eyes away. Did Tae really make this cake that also for my birthday?? HUH???

" Really??"

" Yes. baby. He didn't help us that much, because he doesn't even know how to make whipped cream, so we gave him some minor but important work such as cutting strawberries for jam, and he did that so passionately. He even decorated the whole cake, you know baby." Mommy says.

" Well he messed up too, but still helped us a lot. Thanks Taehyung " Yoongi Oppa pats his back with a smile

" Well I must say you did a great job then douche- Taehyung. Look at those strawberries. You cut them so well " Jungkook says

" Of course he did well. He tried well and it paid off. Thank you Taehyung." Hobi smiles

Namjoon Oppa sighs and places a hand on Taehyung's shoulder. " Let's forget what you did days ago. Because your effort is really appreciable. Thanks Taehyung."

My vision gets blurry seeing this rare moment where my hyungs are saying warm words to Taehyung. It feels like he's a part of my family. It's my birthday for sure. But maybe I've found another member to add to my family. I hope Taehyung never forgets my hyungs when he'll leave forever from here.

Because one day he has to leave. right??

I wipe my tears that gets noticed by Jungkook. He just smiles a little. " Oh look, our birthday girl is getting upset and that made her cry. Awwww don't worry baby if you want to leave you can. We'll take good care of the cake." He looks at the cake and licks his lips.

I chuckled. " That's not gonna happen bunny. It's my birthday cake, okay?? That was also made by so much effort" I smile at Taehyung, and he smiles back.

" Enough of it. Let's cut the cake okay. But 1st Areum. Time to wish for something " Namjoon Oppa says

I take a deep breath and hold my hand together. I close my eyes and prayed for my wish. I open my eyes and blow out the candle and everybody starts clapping.

Tae places the cake on the table and all of my family members surround me. Taehyung takes some steps back, but Jungkook grabs his hand and forces him to stand beside him. I see how he smiles at Taehyung as he returns the smile.

All of them start clapping and singing birthday songs for me when I cut the cake. I give all of them a bit from my piece of cake. 1st Mommy, then Yoongi Oppa, Hobi, Namjoon Oppa and then Jungkook.

" Ah you're getting older Areum. I wonder if your back started to hurt already ha??" Jungkook sighs and eats the cake from me. " Well I don't know about my back but after this your face might look like an old baggy" With that I stand on my toe and shove the rest of the cake on his whole face.

Everyone gets shocked by what I did, and Jungkook. Well he takes some seconds to process everything and I take the chance and start running.

" ARRRREEEEEUUUMMM YOU'RE DEAD TODAY!!!!" He starts screaming when I pull my tongue, mocking him

He can't chase me that long because Yoongi Oppa catches him. " Not today Jungkook." He says smiling but his voice is literally warning him not to chase me anymore.

" Not today but what'll you do tomorrow huh?? Tomorrow will be your last day you'll see" He narrows his eyes.

I roll my eyes and cut another piece of cake. I see him sitting on the sofa being separated from everyone. My feet automatically lead me to him.

" Tae." He looks at me as I sit beside him. " Won't you eat cake from me?? It's my birthday." I know what he's thinking. How could a person who was like a demon yesterday, become an angel right now? Well I can't complain. Only one person is available like this in this world. Remember the name.

It's Areum.

He nods and I bring the cake in front of his mouth and he eats all of it at once. He must loves strawberries as much as I love them. I chuckle and get up but he calls me.

" Areum."

" Yes?"

" Ummm It's your birthday today. and all of them gave you something that you adore so much. I saw them. They took so much time to decorate the place and your gifts. So."

I hold his hand while he looks at me." Taehyung. What you did for me today, I can't form it in money, or expenses. It's too much expensive for me, and I adore it the most Tae. This is the best gift for my birthday. I don't need any materialistic things from you. It's more than enough for me."

" Still. I want to do something special for you. As a. ummm"

" As a??"

" As a thanks for bringing me here. To give me a chance to meet your hyungs whom I misjudged. They were so good to me. Also you really helped me a lot."

" Taehyung you're talking like you got discharged and we're giving you a farewell." I laugh a little

He smiles a little." It's not like that. Anyway, Is there any way I can make you feel special??"

" Stay with me forever Tae. Please never leave me. You become my world, and without you maybe I can't move on anymore." I say in my mind while looking at him.

" You really want to make me feel special??"

" Yes!!" His eyes sparkle.

" Taehyung, I told you yesterday that we're not like normal people, right??"

" Hmm "

" Well then." I look at him

" Let's just pretend we are very normal and have a cup of coffee, while taking a short walk??"
