Chapter 1: Its not what you think!

(This story is a representation on littlespace, and how its a coping mechanism for those who are dealing with PTSD. No. This is not ABDL. No. This is not DDLG. and no. This is not Age-play. What this is, is people who choose to regress to avoid stress from a tough situation, or memories of their past.)

(Now, I do hope you enjoy.)

...

My name is Ataeru Kinisuru. I'm 16 years old, single, brown straight hair, green eyes, and an average build to me.

I just moved into a rural neighborhood on the outskirts of Shibuya, and while it is a little nice. Osaka was way better. But, I'm not one to complain.

Almost the exact moment we got here, my Mom rushed to the nearest school, and enrolled me in it. Not a single entrance exam, no heads up, nothing. So now, here I am walking there.

The uniform isn't anything special. A standard Japanese uniform you'd find at any school in the country. As I'm walking, I hear footsteps beside me, and turn around to see a small girl with long pink hair, a rather cute face, and blue eyes. She wore the same style of uniform as mine, but with a skirt instead of pants.

She was looking at her phone while walking. It also looked like she had headphones in because she wasn't really paying attention to her surroundings.

‘She might run into someone… Ah well.’

I thought to myself, and continued walking.

Gradually, more people joined in the walk. Not like it was a very long one anyways. No one was really talking to each other, when I suddenly heard a loud shove, and the sound of an impact.

I turned around and noticed the girl who was listening to music now on the ground. Yet she didn’t look to have even a bit of emotion to her, just a plain face as she looked up at the person who shoved her down.

“Tch… Freaks like you shouldn’t belong in this world!” The girl who pushed her down said. She had long blonde hair, diamond earrings, green eyes, and her face had a sort of Spoiled brat look to it.

The girl on the ground was still silent, until eventually getting up and trying to walk away. Clearly ignoring the one who pushed her down.

I watched as she was about to attack her again, then stepped in. “Leave her alone. She did nothing to you.” I said in an irritated tone, not wanting to deal with this.

“Heh! You don’t even know her! You have no idea what she is, do you?!” The bully said. I growled and gritted my teeth “It looked to me like you pushed her down for no damn reason.” I said, just wanting her to leave.

The bully gritted her teeth, then pushed me out of the way. “You’re lucky there’s a lot of people here.” She said in an annoyed tone.

I sighed, and was about to continue walking, but felt someone tugging on my hand.

I turned around, and saw the girl who was being bullied grab onto my hand. “Th-Thank you for scaring her away…” She said, There was a squeak in her voice, and she sounded a little nervous.

“Don’t worry about it. Try not to get into any more trouble-” I was cut-off by her suddenly asking “Is… Is it okay if I walk with you…?” She had a slight blush on her face. Almost as if she was embarrassed to ask that.

I was a little surprised by her request, but smiled a bit “Uh… Sure-” But before I could respond, she again cut me off “A-Actually nevermind, you probably like walking alone…” And before I could say anything else, she started walking away. This time I could see a very bright tint of red covering her face.

“Huh… What’s up with her?” I wondered, then continued walking as well. Thinking about why she suddenly changed her mind.

I eventually made it to school, and went to my first class. Coincidentally, me and her had the same first period. But I hadn’t even noticed at first.

“Good morning class. And welcome to your first day of High school!” The teacher said in an enthusiastic tone, clearly excited… Or at least, that’s how he seemed. “Today, each of you will go up and introduce yourself to the class. I’ll call you up in alphabetical order. First up; Ataeru Kinisuru.”

I looked around the room for a bit, then got up and walked to the board, taking a deep breath and getting ready to state my name to the class. “As the teacher said, my name is Ataeru Kinisuru, but you can call me Atasuru. It’s nice to meet you.” I bowed my upper body, then heard a “Nice to meet you” from everyone.

I quietly went back to my desk, and sat down.

One by one, the teacher called people up until it was finally the turn of the girl I interacted with.

She went up to the board, looking a bit shaky. Her breath was also off, and she looked scared. “H-Hello… I-I’m Jihei Akachan… C-Call me Aka please…” She looked down, seemingly a bit embarrassed. “N-Nice to meet you.” She stuttered out.

“Nice to meet you.” We all said after she was done, then she slowly sat down at her desk.

“Wait… Isn’t that the girl who-”

“Ha! It totally is!”

“What a weirdo… And a freak.”

“She doesn’t belong here!”

I heard all of the gossip among the girls in the class, and it made me wonder… What did she do? She looked perfectly fine, and she had a good attitude. So what was so weird about her?

Little did I know, that’s a question I would find out sooner rather than later.

After a little while, the bell rang, and I moved towards Aka. “Hey, you okay?” I asked her in a kind voice.

She looked up at me, looking surprised that I would walk to her desk. “U-Uh… Yeah, I’m okay.” She said in a quiet voice. Barely enough for me to hear. “Are you sure? Those girls were being kinda mean to you… So was the girl outside-” I was cut-off by her “I… I don’t want to talk about this right now…” She stated.

“Y-You seem really nice though… B-But I don’t want to talk right now… I-I’m sorry…” She stuttered out, surprising me. “Uh… Alright… Guess I’ll see you later then?” I looked at her, expecting a nod. But she was silent.

I sighed, and started walking towards my next class. A part of me wondered if I might’ve said something wrong, but another part chose to ignore it.

Aka could barely take it. Her mind was already in turmoil from today, but now because of how loud the class was, she was growing overstimulated. She needed a break.

She raised her hand and waited for the teacher to call on her.

“Yes Aka?” He looked at her “May I use the bathroom?” She asked, “Go right ahead.” He said.

Aka got up from her seat, but not before reaching into her backpack and taking something out of it.

A few of the girls in the classroom smirked, getting an idea, they raised their hands. “Mr. Jiyuna! May we also use the restroom?” The teacher looked at them a bit suspiciously “Please? It’s an emergency!” They fake whined.

“Fine. Go ahead.” He said. The three girls got up, giggling mischievously as they had an idea on what to do to Aka.

Aka was in one of the stalls, hyperventilating, but trying to control her breathing. She imagined the comfort of her friend being there, and that along with what she brought ended up helping. She had calmed down, and was at peace…

But that peace only lasted so long. The door to the girls bathroom opened, and the trio of girls had entered. “Hey Aka!~ We know you’re in hereeeee~ Ready to play a round of your favorite game?” They said in that same mischievous tone.

Fear swept Aka off her feet, and she started panicking, trying to think on what to do to get out of this situation…

She looked underneath the stall and noticed they were getting closer. She couldn’t keep from hyperventilating as adrenaline flooded her mind.

She knew there was only one way out of this… Risk fighting back… Or make a run for it.

She managed to get enough control of her breathing to get to a decision.

“We found you~” One of the girls opened the door to the stall Aka was in, not expecting Aka to suddenly tackle her to the ground and rush out of there.

“Gah! Grr… Get her!” The trio of girls ran after her a few seconds after.

Aka was running as fast as she could to get away from the bullies. The footsteps of them were getting closer and closer. Thinking fast, she turned the very next corner she could. And the door that awaited her was… The janitor's closet!

She quickly hid in the closet, and tried to control her breathing. Using what she brought, and once more the memory of her friend comforting her… It worked for a while…

At the same time, Atasuru was walking back to class from the bathroom. He sighed and felt his head throbbing from all the work he already has to do. “Man… How is the first day already this hard?!” He kicked the Janitor’s closet in a quiet frustration.

“Ah well… At least it can’t get any worse-” Suddenly, the door swung open, and the person that came crashing out was… Aka!

She fell to the side of him, and looked exhausted. “W-Whoa… Hey, are you okay?-” That’s when he noticed something. Something in her mouth.

“Wait, is that…” He took a closer look at it.

His suspicions were confirmed.

What was in the young girl’s mouth…

Was a pacifier.

She groaned opening her eyes, then looked up at Atasuru. Blushing wildly as the pacifier fell out of her mouth.

"I-Its not what you think!"
