'Hello?'

'Serena! I'm so proud of you!' Her mother said, smiling widely.

Serena smiled back. 'Thank you mum, but it wasn't just me. It was Braixen as well.' She hugged Braixen. 'Oh! I forgot to tell Pancham and Sylveon that we won!' She sent out Sylveon and Pancham.

'We won!' Serena held out the ribbon to show her pokémon. Pancham leapt into Serena's arms, while Sylveon waited until Pancham was off, and jumped in to get a cuddle herself.

Stephanie started to play with Pancham, bouncing around like rubber balls. 'Who's this?' Her mother asked.

'This is Stephanie, she watched me do showcases.' Stephanie stood up, and waved to Grace. She waved back.

'Serena, what are you going to do next?' Grace asked.

Serena stopped. She had been thinking about it just before she went to sleep for the past week. Did she want to get into the Grand Fesitval? Did she want to travel Hoenn, stopping for contests? What was she going to do next?

'I'm not sure. I was thinking about going to Alola next, but I don't know when.' Serena said. 'I don't know if I'd go after a I win a certain amount of ribbons, get to the Grand Fesival, I'm not sure.'

Grace smiled. 'Just remember that you're always welcome at home.' She stopped, looking off the screen. 'Fletchling? Do you want to say something to Serena?'

Fletchling flew into view, chirping loudly. 'Fletch! Fletchling!'

'Thank you Fletchling!' Serena said. Of course she didn't know what the bird pokémon was saying, for all she knew he was saying, 'power bag', but she assumed it was something kind. 'Mum, I think I have to go, I have about three other people calling me.'

'Of course Serena, talk to you soon.' Fletchling flew around Grace's head, still chirping.

'Bye Mum!' She ended the call. Suddenly three videophones started to ring, including the one Serena was sitting at. She jumped out of her skin, but answered the one she was on.

'Hi Serena! Congratulations!' Her green eyed, brown haired friend said.

'Shauna! Thank you!' Serena exclaimed.

There was a pause.

'Well?' Shauna prodded.

'Well what?'

'What happened with Ash? Are you a couple now?!'

Serena blushed a brilliant red. 'Well, uh, no. But... I uh, kissed him!'

Shauna's eyes were as big as saucers. 'Really?'

'Does Serena have a boyfriend?' Stephanie said. Serena blushed.

'Stephanie stop! No, but I wish he was.' Stephanie gasped, then proceeded to skip around the pokémon center, singing 'Serena has a boyfriend!'. Serena's whole face was bright red.

Shauna laughed. 'Who's this? She reminds me of Bonnie.'

Serena laughed too. 'That's Stephanie. She ran up to me the first day I was here. She said she watched me in the showcases.'

'That's so sweet! How are you finding Hoenn anyway?'

'I like it here. I've only been to Morpoint, but it is really beautiful. I do miss Kalos though.'

'I might go now, but Trevor and Tierno said congrats. Bye!'

Serena waved. 'Bye Shauna!' The call ended. Serena jumped again, as two videophones started ring again. She knew that they were either Bonnie and Clemont, and the other one was Ash. Who would she answer first?

Again, she accepted the videophone from Kalos. Clemont and Bonnie's faces appeared, smiling widely. 'Congrats Serena! Braixen too!' Bonnie chirped.

'Thank you Bonnie!' Serena said. Braixen came up into view and smiled as well.

'Yes Serena, and Braixen, you both did amazingly!' Clemont said. 'Could we see the ribbon?'

Serena held up the ribbon so both Clemont and Bonnie, and Pancham and Sylveon could see it.

'So pretty!' Bonnie said, her eyes sparkling. Dedenne climbed up Bonnie, until the electric pokémon was on her head.

'So how have you guys been?' Serena asked. She hadn't called them in awhile.

'We've been good!' Bonnie said.

'That's good. Have you talked to Ash recently?' Serena asked.

Bonnie narrowed her eyes. But Clemont was the first to speak. 'No, not in the past week anyway. Why?'

Stephanie popped her head up so she could be seen on the screen. 'Serena, who are they?'

'This is Clemont,' Clemont waved. 'And this is Bonnie.' Bonnie waved and smiled, bouncing up and down.

'Hello! Clemont's my big brother, and he's the leader of the Lumiose Gym!'

Stephanie's mouth hung open. 'Wow! My brother only just got his first pokémon! He wants to do the gym challenge.' A pause. 'Is that a Dedenne?' Bonnie nodded.

'Well tell him we wish him the best.' Said Clemont.

Stephanie's eyes lit up. 'He'll love that! He loves you, especially after Zygarde!'

Clemont blushed. 'Uh, well uh thank you.'

A voice came from the sibling's end. 'Excuse me, Gym Leader Clemont? Can I have battle?'

'Oh. Is it okay for us to hang up?' Clemont said sadly.

'Yes, bye Bonnie, bye Clemont, bye Dedenne!' The trio all waved, Serena and Stephanie waved back.

'Bye!' Stephanie said. The call ended. It was time for the last call.

Serena took a deep breath, and answered. Ash's face appeared on screen. 'Hi Ash!'

'Hi Serena! Congratulations! You too, Braixen!' Braixen smiled. Ash noticed Stephanie. 'Who are you?'

'I'm Stephanie. Are you Serena's boyfriend?' Stephanie innocently asked. Ash flushed red, Pikachu climbing up onto Ash's head, making his usual kissy faces. Serena buried her face into her lap, her face radiating heat.

'Stephanie, no!' Serena cried, muffled by her lap. 'I told you this before!'

'Well you kissed him didn't you? Then you should be boyfriend and girlfriend.' Stephanie stated. Serena looked like she was about to conbust. Ash turned away, but the blush was creeping down his neck.

Serena, her head still in her lap, whispered to herself, 'I wish.'

Stephanie then decided to skip around, still be able to be seen on screen, singing 'Serena has a boyfriend!'

Braixen, taking note of the situation, lead Stephanie, Sylveon and Pancham away, so Ash and Serena could actually talk, not just look away and blush. Serena looked up, still burning red. Ash turned back around. They met eyes, Serena throwing her head back into her chest, her body almost all red.

Breathe in, breathe out. Now Serena, sit up and talk to him! She slowly unfolded herself, and looked into the screen, where Ash was playing with Pikachu. Serena smiled. 'I'm back!'

'That's good to hear. Her and Bonnie are so alike!' Ash said, still a hint of pink on his cheeks.

'Oh yes!' Serena hurriedly said. 'What have you been doing this past week?'

'I've been at the Corral most of the time, battling and stuff. Were you practising with Braixen for the week?'

Serena nodded. 'And been watched by Stephanie.' She looked over to where her pokémon and Stephanie were playing, Stephanie clearly forgotten how she had been teasing Serena just a few minutes prior. 'So Ash, where do you think you are going to go next? Where is your dream going to take you?'

Ash stopped, and made a thoughful face. 'Well, I was thinking I might go to Alola.' He responded. 'I haven't gone there yet.'

'I was thinking about going there too!' Serena said. 'I believe they don't have contests or showcases there, so I could start them. But...' She trailed off.

'But you don't know when?' Ash finished for her.

'Yeah.'

Stephanie heard this, and came running up. 'I think I'm going to go.' Serena quickly said.

'Yep.'

'Bye Ash!' Serena hurriedly said, waving. Stephanie was getting closer, her pokémon trying to pull Stephanie back.

'Bye Serena! I'll talk to you later?' Ash asked.

'Of course! Bye.' The call ended.

Serena's pokémon let go of Stephanie, who came running to Serena. 'Why did you say goodbye?'

'Because I didn't want a certain little girl embarassing me again.' Serena looked at Stephanie, who flushed pink.

'Do you think he'll be your boyfriend one day?' Stephanie asked.

Serena knelt down to Stephanie's level. 'I really hope so.'

Oh boy... long chapter! Well my friends, we hit two big milestones recently. Number one, in this chapter, we hit 10000 words, which makes this the longest piece of writing I've ever done! Number two, we got 500 reads!!! I have no words, other than THANK YOU SO MUCH! We are now on our way to 1k!

QOTD: What is your favourite mega? Mine is either Mega Altaria, or Mega Ampharos. Both are so fluffy so I love them.
