Ash, Hau, Lillie, and Professor Kukui were ready to sit down and watch their friends' contest. The three travelling companions had been stalling going to Akala, as Ash and Hau battled trainers, and explored Melemele Island. Ash had helped a small Litten, after his friend, an old Stoutland, had fallen sick. They all helped to get Stoutland better, and the pair had happily settled into a home with a lovely old lady. (I had to okay? I cried on that episode don't judge)

'Welcome to the Morpoint City pokémon contest!' The offical said on the screen. 'We again have May and Drew scouting for talent for Sinnoh contests. So put on your best performances co-ordinators!'

They watched intently until Crystal appeared on stage. She looked sad and a little grumpy. She mustered a smile, and sent out her Umbreon.

'Finally, like we practised, Moonlight and Shadow Ball!' Umbreon spun while making the two attacks, which then collided, making purple and white sparkles float around the room. 'Yes!' She brought Umbreon into a hug, and with him in her arms, faced the judges.

'That was beautiful!' Nurse Joy said, holding up a 9.9.

Mr Contesta agreed. 'It was beautiful indeed. Your bond is very tight.' He held up a 9.9 as well.

'Well deserved of this score.' Mr Suziko said, with a 9.9 as well. Crystal's final score of 29.7 flashed on screen, putting her in first.

Crystal hugged Umbreon closer. 'Thank you so much Umbreon!' She walked back to competitors' room, and on her way, met Serena. She gave a sad smile.

'You did so good Crystal!' Hannah said.

'Thanks. But I want either you or Serena to get the ribbon. I'm staying here so I'm able to get more.'

Hannah looked down. 'You know what?' she said, trying to cheer up her friend. 'We can go to lunch after this. I have a little surprise for you.'

Crystal smiled hopefully. 'Really? Is it food?!'

'I mean of course,' Hannah said, 'We are going to lunch, after all.'

'Congratulations Serena!' Crystal chimed, looking at the blonde's second turquiose ribbon. 'Are we gonna go get lunch yet?'

Hannah laughed. 'You are honestly like a pleading Growlithe. But yeah, we are.' Crystal grinned. 'This place has the best curry. When I stayed in Morpoint for a bit this was the food I ate pretty much all the time.' She gave Serena a pointed look. The brunette had quietly told Serena that she had asked Crystal's parents to come to Morpoint to convince them to let Crystal go to Alola.

Crystal rubbed her hands together. 'That sounds good. Let's go!' She dragged Hannah and Serena in a direction, but Hannah turned her in the way the restaurant was.

The three girls entered the restaurant, when Crystal stopped. 'What.'

Hannah feigned ignorance. 'What?'

'Why are my mum and dad here?' Crystal said. She gestured to her parents who were sitting at a table for five.

'Oh Crissie dear!' Her mum said, standing up to give her daughter a hug.

'Hey mum.' Crystal mumbled. 'Hey dad. What are you doing here?'

Joanne shrugged it off. 'Shall we order some food? We know how much you like your food.'

'Oh yes.' Hannah nodded. 'We certainly know that.' Serena laughed.

The table ordered their food, and talked pleasantries while they waited for their meals. ( *sips tea* ah yes I am a fancy British person using the word pleasantries)

'When are you leaving for Alola?' Jerry asked Serena and Hannah. Crystal looked down, and fiddled with her hands in her lap.

Serena had no idea, other than that her and Hannah were leaving today, but they first had to convince Joanne and Jerry to let Crystal go to Alola. Her brunette friend had booked a third ticket in anticipation.

'We have to be at the airport in two hours. I've also rented an apartment in Hau'oli for Serena and myself, but we have a spare room.' Hannah said, after finishing her meal.

Jerry nodded. 'You sound very organized.'

'Thank you. But the reason I called you here was because,' she looked at Crystal, 'is because,' Crystal narrowed her eyes, 'I – I mean we – would really really want Crystal to join us in Alola.'

Crystal looked up from her dessert. 'Really? You did that for me?'

'Did you bring two pokémon?' Hannah asked Jerry, who nodded. 'Well, after we have finished, Crystal, you are going to prove your strength.'

'This is a 2v2 battle against Crystal and Jerry. Switching is allowed. Battle begin!'

Ay hey hey I'm back baby! I missed camp because I was sick :( 1 more chapter till the gang is together! whoop

Also if it wasn't clear enough Serena won the Morpoint ribbon (again I know)

I'm not sure how often I will be posting, but I will try to post every Sunday for me. That will then give me Saturdays to write chapters. Follow me just in case I'm not going to post in that week. I just want the best quality for you guys.
