Art - Watercolor Ink What?
So I got some new stuff to add to my stuff, and I've come to the conclusion that- it's a lot of stuff.
I thought I'd take the time to do some more... simple art. It's not intricate, but it's a nice change.
A few days ago I got Derwent Inktense Pencils. Basically, they are water-soluble inks in the form of a pencil.
I did the background of this horse in Inktense; I also learned a few things! Inktense applies really clumpy? Like oil pastel pencils or crayons. Also, apply it in LIGHT layers, not one thick layer because the application gets rough and spotty when you try and smooth it out with water. Oh and the horse I did with watercolor pencils. The highlights were done with a white gel pen.
Oh man. Look at that signature.
This piece I did in Watercolor Cancer. <---- It's a joke. Laugh? :D Alright, so I got some new watercolors. Very frickin' expensive watercolors- BUT I got them because when they dry, they still keep their vibrancy. I wasn't expecting... them to be that vibrant? These photos have no editing! I didn't increase color saturation at all, if anything, it needs decreasing. xD
That pink is amazing though. It's practically neon. I believe it's called Opera Rose? Something like that.
If you guys want, maybe I'll do a chapter on all the different supplies I have. Would that be appreciated? Be sure to let me know! This week I'm off school, so I have time to do art. c:
