Do you know what a carbon stick is? 

If you don't know what a carbon stick is, I'd be glad to enlighten you. It's this little stick that is used to give artists high-blood pressure! :D

I was playing with it because it's something I can make a huge mess with and still look like I know what I'm doing.

Is this a great sketch? For 5 minutes of scribbling and 10 minutes of trying to blend a media that doesn't stick to paper, it's pretty great. I apologize for the quality of the picture. Sometimes my camera gets lazy. 

Did I mention it's impossible to sharpen them? 

Look what I did to it though. 

Just one swipe of the hand... Gosh, that felt so good to do. Although the carbon turned my hand black until I scrubbed it off, I had fun putting a half hand-print everywhere.
