Telling my brothers

*Izzy's P. O. V. *

"Okay, so I'm just going say it... I'm dating your sister."

You should suspected that my brothers would react differently, because they already knew we're dating, but Mikey's head exploded and Raph punched Jack in the face.

"RAPH!" I exclaimed annoyed, sending my twin a death glare, while I helped Jack back up on his feet. "You okay?" Jack rubbed his cheek where Raph punched and looked down at me with a small smirk. "That went better than I thought." He answered with a smile.

I blinked a couple of times and stared at my boyfriend as if he was crazy, which I think he is. "Did you get brain damage from that punch?" I asked him as I put my hand against his cheek. Jack laughed softly as he put his hand over mine. "Izzy, I'm fine." He said as he took my hand off his cheek.

"My twin brother just punched you in the face!" I exclaimed. "I know, that's why it went better than I thought. I actually thought he was gonna kill me." I shook my head with a soft laugh as I stared at my boyfriend. "Well that has crossed my mind." Raph said irritated.

I turned around to face my twin and gave him a glare. Raph was also glaring, but at Jack with his arms crossed, and the rest of my brothers was looking back and forth at Raph and I, not knowing what to expect. Before anything happened, Leo stepped forward and put his hand on Raph's shoulder from behind to get his brother's attention. "Maybe you should hear them out first before you decide to kill him."

Raph turned his face to look at Leo with a glare, but sighed when Leo gave him a knowing glare. He uncrossed his arms and looked back at Jack and I. "Alright, I'll let you guys explain," Raph started, causing some relieve for Jack and I, "But if I don't like what I hear, you guys are done!"

There was a moment of silence before Jack started, "Okay, well..." He stopped before looking at me, "Where do we start?" I sighed to myself and tried to figure out how to tell my brothers that I fell in love with Jack Frost and everything. "How about when your relationship started?" Donnie suggested with a small shrug.

Jack and I looked at each other for a second, before we started smiling as we thought about how it started. "Our first kiss." We both said at the same time, with out breaking eye contact. "It was on your first snow day..." Jack started as he took my hand in his. I smiled as I looked down at our joined hands. "We were having a snowball fight..." I continued the story as I looked back at him.

"Your snowball was able to hit me..." He laugh as he put down his staff and took my other hand. "I was about to hit you again, but you tackled me..." I laugh stared loving at him. "We play wrestled for a moment before we rolled down the snow..." Jack said, causing me to laugh I remembered that fun memory. "Then we saw the Northern Lights." I said with a smile.

"You were worried at first, but I told you that they were natural, and not to worry..." He continued again as I looked down at our joined hands and started playing with his fingers. "You wrapped your arms around me..." I said as I looked back up at him. He smiled and let our hands go.

"Everything is okay." He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I sigh softly through my nose and put my hands against his chest. "You said that as you hugged me..." I said as I felt his heartbeat. "We watched the Northern Lights for a moment..." He continued as he hold me a bit tighter. "I said that they were beautiful," I continued as I closed my eyes and put my forehead against his.

"Your beautiful."

I smiled with my eyes still closed, before opening them and looking back into his bright winter blue eyes with my forest green eyes. "Then the Northern Lights Wolf came out." I said softly, almost in a whisper. "It moved like a natural wolf, made the real wolves believe that it was real..." Jack said, also softly. "They howled at it..." I said with a bright smile, which he returned. "It howled back..." He said, and softly cups my cheek.

"You kissed me... and I kissed back."

Jack smiled softly before he raised his head and kissed softly my forehead. "After our kiss, we heard your brothers and saw them dogpile each other..." He continued, causing me to laugh softly at the memory of my brothers. "We then remembered we weren't alone." I said with a small laugh.

"We started walking back to them, hand in hand, but I stopped before we reached them." Jack said he laid his forehead against mine again and took both my hands in his. "I asked what was wrong, but you just looked back up at the Northern Lights..." I said as we both rubbed our thumbs against each others hands. "We then saw that the Northern Lights Wolf was still there, but it wasn't alone, there was another wolf." Jack said as he wrapped his arms around me again.

"Look's like the Lone Wolf's call got answered." I said, repeating what I said that day, just like how Jack did.

"Will you answer this Lone Wolf's call?" Jack said as he stared deep into my green eyes with his bright blues eyes.

Instead of frowning like I did last time, I smile so big that my cheeks almost started hurting, but I didn't care. Jack saw my smile and smiled back just as big and bright, and wrapped his arms tighter around me.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He said with a knowing smile. I smiled back, also knowingly, and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Yes." I said and leaned in to kiss him.

"Aw!"

We stopped before our lips touched and looked to our side and saw my brothers. We both blushed as we realized that we forgot that they were still in the room with us. I removed my arms from his neck and turned to face my brothers. Jack also unwrapped his arms from me and picked up his stuff, before wrapping one arm around me as he faced my brothers.

What we saw, wasn't actually expected. Leo, Donnie and Mikey were sitting there and staring at us, as if they were watching a play. Raph was sitting next to them and he didn't look annoyed, but he quickly crossed his arms and looked away, acting annoyed. And Mikey was actually eating popcorn!

"When did you get popcorn?" I asked Mikey with a frown, but he just smiled a cheeky smile as he grabbed a handful. "I was going to watch TV before Jack showed up. But this was so much better than SpongeBob!" Mikey exclaimed threw the handful popcorn into his mouth.

I frowned with my eyebrow raised, but I just shook my head, and said to myself how I should of expected it from Mikey. But Leo and Donnie... not so much. I turned to them and they just smile a cheeky/nervous smile. "Hey! Don't look at me! I just asked when did your relationship start, not to reenact the whole thing!" Donnie said, trying to defend himself, but was smiling the whole time.

"Well, it's not Space Heroes, but that was pretty good." Leo said, causing Mikey and Donnie nod, agreeing with him. "Eh, wasn't bad..." Raph grumbled, arms still cross and staring down, but he quickly looked back up again and gave both Jack and I glare.

He glared at us for a bit, before sighing and looking back down in thought. He then groaned as he uncrossed his arms and looked back at us. "Okay, you guys can stay together." Raph as he rolled his eyes. I squealed in excitement and into Jack's arms, and wrapped my arms around his neck. Jack laugh as he pulled me up and twirled us around.

He put me back down and went in to kiss me, but Raph coughed to get our attention. We pulled away slightly from each other and saw Raph giving us a warning stare. When he saw that he has our attention, he looked Jack right into the eye with a warning glare.

"You have one shot..." Raph started as he raised his finger up to Jack, showing his one shot, before pointing his finger at Jack. "You screw it up, I'll kill." He finished, with a deadly serious face. A part of me knew that he was kidding, but another part of me was worried that my twin was really serious.

Jack gulped silently before he straightened himself and looked Raph back in the eye, also with a serious face. "I promise, I will not screw this up. I will not break her heart or hurt her... Ever." Jack said to my twin before looking down at me, with his arms still around me, and smiled lovingly. "I love her and I want to make her happy in anyway I can." He said, making me smile back at him before turning my head and laid it against his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

Jack kissed my head softly before turning his head back towards Raph, with a serious face again. "I promise..." Raph looked at Jack for a moment before looking back me with a sigh. "Just don't kiss my sister or do any cheesy stuff in front of me, okay?"

I laughed at my twin brother before pulling away from Jack and walked over to Raph. I brought him into hug, which he returned. "Thank you big brother." I said softly, making him laugh softly through his nose before tightening the hug. "You're welcome." We squeezed each other one last time before we pulled away.

I turned back to Jack with a smile, which he returned, but his smile quickly vanished and turned into a look of fear.

"GET DOWN!"

We all dropped to the floor as Jack shot a blast of ice with his staff over our heads, and that's when I heard it... A neigh. I turned my head to the back, and my eyes widened in fear when I saw it.

A Nightmare.

Jack shot at it again, but the Nightmare dodged it before the ice could hit, and run towards the exit with a screeching neigh. "What the hell?!?" Raph exclaimed when he saw it and turned his head to Jack, looking for some answers. Before he could even asked, Jack run over to us and grabbed my hand. "Come on!" Jack exclaimed as he pulled my up quickly. "We can't let it get away!" He finished and started flying after it.

The Turtles quickly jumped back on their feet and grabbed their weapons as they started following me as I tried to catch up with Jack. It wasn't long before we caught up to him. He was floating in the air looking from left to right, trying to figure out which way to go.

"Where did it go?" I asked as we stopped and took my kama out, and started searching for the Nightmare. "I don't know! I lost it!" Jack quickly answered as flew over from the one tunnel to another, looking as hard as he can for the black sand horse. As he looked, I felt my tattoo change on my right wrist. I lifted my hand up and looked down to see it was back to wolf moon tattoo.

My head snapped to the right when I heard a snort, and soon enough, my green eyes connected with bright, evil, yellow eyes. "There!" I shouted as I shot fire at the Nightmare. It dodged my fire with a neigh before running down a tunnel. "Damnit!" I screamed and started running after the Nightmare with the guys soon following behind.

*******

We all followed the Nightmare, but we all lost it the second it reached the surface. Not wanting to loose it, we climbed up a building and started rooftop jumping, searching and trying to find it again. But when we ended up on a building that was too far away from the another buildings to jump, we stopped and tried to figure out which direction it went.

"I can't believe we lost it!" I groaned annoyed as I stumped my foot in anger and started walking back and forth, with my kama still in my hands. "It couldn't have gotten far!" Jack said, still floating the air, looking everywhere around him, but he soon after huffed and flew back down and landed next to me. I sighed and stopped my walking as turned to face the Winter Spirit.

"I thought you guys defeated him!" I exclaimed in both anger and fear. Anger for loosing the Nightmare, and fear from knowing who is responsible for the Nightmare. "We did defeat him!" Jack exclaimed as he run his free hand through his hair annoyed. "I mean, we all saw him get dragged down that hole!" He exclaimed to me as he threw his arm in a direction.

I groaned as I rubbed my head with my hands, before looking back up at Jack with eyes full of fear. "We need to find it before it is too late." I said, getting a nod from him before he wrapped his arms around me bringing me into a reassuring hug. "Don't worry, we will."

"What the heck was that thing?" Leo finally asked after we pulled away from our hug. Jack and I looked at each other for a moment, before we both sighed, knowing that we had to tell them. As much as we hated it, we knew that we have to tell my brothers about the nightmares and their creator, and what might possible becoming.

"That was a Nightmare." I answered while staring at the ground, before looking back up at my brothers with eyes full of fear, catching them off guard for a second. "A nightmare? What do you mean?" Donnie asked confused. "Exactly that." I said as I laid against Jack, wanting his arms more than anything around me, knowing I feel save.

Sensing my nervousness, Jack wrapped his arm around me, and pulled me tight against his chest. My brothers just looked more confused at my answer and also got a look of worry when they saw how afraid I was. "Jack, what was that damn thing and why is Izzy so scared of it?" Raph asked, not understanding how his sister's fear.

"Exactly what she said." Jack said, rubbing his thumb against my shoulder up and down. "That was an actual nightmare. It gives nightmares to anyone who get's in contact with them." Jack continued as I tighten my arms around him, silently trying to tell him that it's going to be alright. "Wait, how does it give nightmares?" Donnie asked with his confused frown.

"The same way how the Sandman gives us dreams," I started with a soft sigh, remembering how the Nightmares turned Sandy's gold dream-sand into black nightmare-sand. "The sand." Mikey suddenly said, catching all of us off guard. "That horse was made of black sand!" Mikey exclaimed, looking at Jack and I.

"Yeah, he turned Sandy's gold sand that gave dreams into black sand that gave nightmares." I answered. "Wait a minute? You just said he, not it?" Leo said, catching the others attention, and causing Jack and I to look down, really not wanting to talk about... him.

Leo stared at us for a moment, trying to figure out what we were not telling. He looked at Jack before he started talking again, "You said you defeated somebody. I'm guessing it wasn't the nightmare." Raph looked at Leo for a second, before looking down at the ground in thought.

"If the Sandman gives dreams, who gives the nightmares?"

"The Boogeyman." Mikey answered Raph before Jack or I could, not like we wanted to answer to anyway. "The what?" Raph asked as he looked up from the ground, staring at Mikey with a confused along with Donnie and Leo. But Mikey didn't look at them, he was looking at Jack and I, shocked... with a bit of fear.

"He's real?"

"Everyone of us is real Mikey, it's just some doesn't deserve to be believed in." Jack answered as his grip on his staff tightened in anger. "Who's real? What's a boogeyman?" Donnie asked us, but when we didn't answer and turned and looked at Mikey for answers. Mikey was still looking at us, but he answered the question what our brothers wanted to know.

"The Boogeyman is the King of Nightmares. While Sandman gives dreams, the Boogeyman gives nightmares. He also use shadows to scare people in dark night. He's a really, really bad guy." Mikey finished before turning and looking at the guys, who looked shocked and confuse. But not long, Raph frowned and looked at me.

"If he only gives nightmares and control shadows, why are you so scared of him, Izzy?" My twin asked, making me sigh, because I hoped he wouldn't ask me. Before I could answer, Jack answered one of the reasons why I was scared.

"That's what he does!" Jack said, while letting me go and started pacing, frustrated. He wasn't frustrated at the question, only of the topic of the person. "He goes around, giving nightmares and scaring in the dark to create fear! This is what it's been all about, Fear!" He continued, without stopping with his pacing.

"Why does he want fear?" Leo asked, calmly with his arms crossed as he watched Jack paced. "To be believed in." I answered with an eye roll. "People can't see him because they don't believe in him, and they can't believe in him if they don't fear him." I continued, while wrapping my arms arounds me. Jack finally stopped his pacing, and turned to face the Turtles before continuing from where I stopped.

"That's why he gives nightmares to kids. The nightmares scares them, and their fear for the nightmares and the dark also makes him stronger." Jack said before walking over and standing next to me again. "And problem is, when all the children of the world fears him, they stop believing in the Guardians." He said, looking at me, worried, not just for himself, but for his fellow Guardians as well.

"What happens when they stop believing?" Leo asked. My eyes teared up a bit as I started thinking what will happen, and I looked down so that my brothers couldn't see my watery eyes. Standing close to me, Jack noticed my teary eyes before I looked down. He took a step to me and wrapped both his arms around me, without dropping his staff, bringing me in for hug.

"We die."

The Turtles gasped in shock, staring at Jack with eyes full of worry, and a bit of fear. Still worried, Donnie frowned a bit before asking, "But how is that possible?" "When a child doesn't believe, they can't see us. When many children stop believing, it weakens us. But if all children stopped believing..." Jack trailed of, not wanting to finish. I didn't have to ask to know that he was thinking about how weak the Guardians was at the beginning of their last battle with the Nightmare King.

"But you defeated him, right?" Raph said, as he uncrossed his arms. "You defeated him once, so you can do it again!" "It's not that simple Raph." I said to my twin, wishing it was that simple. "Why not?" Mikey asked with a frown.

"Because last time, he stole all the teeth and tooth fairies, making children think the Tooth Fairy wasn't real! The children stopped believing in my Dad because he destroyed Easter! He actually killed Sandy!" I exclaimed, pulling away from Jack and turning my back to my brothers and boyfriend. I wrapped my arms around me again and walked over to the near end of the roof.

"That's why you're so afraid," I sighed softly as Leo spoke to me, closing my eyes and my back still turned to them. "You're not scared of the nightmares or darkness he controls..." He continued talking as he slowly walked over to. I looked up with my teary eyes at him when he put his hand on my shoulder. "You're scared of losing your Dad."

I turned slightly to face him, before looking back at the others. I stared for a moment at them before I sighed softly and looked out at the city that never sleeps. "Yeah... I'm scared of losing my Dad. Last time we lost Sandy, and when Easter was destroyed, my Dad lost more of his strength than the others." I said, turning back to the others, looking them in the eyes as a tear left my eyes and rolled down my cheek.

"I am also scared of losing Jack."

My brothers and Jack looked at me sadly, seeing why I was so scared. Little did they know, I had another reason why I was afraid. Jack went to take a step towards me, but Raph stopped with his hand on Jack's chest. Jack looked at Raph with a frown, but he nodded slightly when Raph gave him a silent look. Raph nodded a thanks and walked over to me.

Raph stopped in front of me and softly put his hands on my shoulders. I looked down as another tear rolled down my cheek, refusing to let my brother see the fear and the tears in my eyes up close. Raph sighed softly, bending down a bit to look me in the eyes. "Hey..." He started off softly, but I just closed my eyes and shook my head. "It's okay, it's okay." He said as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a hug.

"It's okay to be scared..." He whispered to me, but was loud enough for the others to hear. "Everybody is afraid of something. But it is the reasons why you're afraid and how you handle it that makes a difference." Raph said, pulling slightly away, still keeping me in his arms, and looked me in the eyes. "What else is scaring you?" He asked softly.

I didn't answer him, even if I wanted to, I couldn't. I shook my head, as more tears started rolling down my cheeks. I went to wipe them away, but Raph beat me to it, and wiped my tears away with his thumbs. After wiping my tears away, he gently lifted my face up and looked me in the eyes again.

"Izzy, you can try to hide as much as you can, but I'm your twin. I know you are scared of something else as well. I know it is hard to admit it, believe me, I do. But we can't help you with your fear if you won't talk to us." Raph said gently, but serious, staring deep in my green eyes with his. I blinked my tears away before taking a deep breath.

"Pitch Black."

Jack gasp silently in surprised when I finally said the Boogeyman's name. Raph frowned slightly at me, turning to Jack, searching for answers. Jack's eyes met Raph's for a second, before looking around him, meeting the rest of my brothers eyes, who was also looking at the Guardian of Winter, wanting some answers.

"Who's Pitch Black?" Raph ask. Jack stared at my twin for a second and looked back at me with a sigh, knowing he had to tell them. "The Boogeyman... That's his name." Jack said as he put his free hand in his hoodie's pocket. "And you're right Raph," he started off, looking at my twin and I, "Everybody is afraid of something. The problem is that he knows what they are."

"What?" Donnie said, shocked, along with Raph and Leo, while Mikey looked worried. "That's why his good at making people afraid of him. He knows everyone's greatest fear and he likes to use it against you." Jack said with a knowing look. "Is that what happened to you?" Mikey asked him, worried.

"Sort of." Jack said sadly. Before Mikey could ask more questions, Jack stopped him with a silent look. "It's a long story... but to make short, he used my fear against me on the day of Easter. While he was messing with my head, his nightmares was busy crushing the Easter Eggs and breaking Easter Baskets... destroying Easter. If I was there, Easter would have been saved, and he knew it."

"And what made it harder, was when I got back to the Guardians and saw how a kid walked right through Bunny, showing us that they believe anymore. It broke him... He later on flipped on me, was even ready to punch me, but something stopped him."

"He broke down and told me... Easter is new beginnings. New Life. Easter's about hope, and now, it's gone..." Jack finished, his eyes a bit teary as he thought about that day. I gasped silently, shocked by hearing both her name and what my Dad said, but I shouldn't have been so surprised, because I understood why he said it.

"Hope was my mother's name." I said quietly, but loud enough for them all to hear. Jack gasped silently and looked up to me in surprised, but my eyes just looked down. "Easter was always about hope, but my Mom made it more special for him. My Dad always joked and said that Manny made Easter alive and it was Mom," I said with a small laugh and wiped my eye before the tear fell.

"My Mom was Easter for him... After the day we lost her, it broke us both, but on that one Easter Day, we felt her..." I continued, slowly looking up at Jack. "Easter is about hope, and when children give enough hope on Easter, she comes back for a day..." I said as tears rolled my cheeks, and I didn't even bother to stop them.

Both my brothers and Jack looked shocked, but I ignored them, turning to face New York again and wrapped my arms around me. "We don't know how, but on every Easter, it just feels like she's there. Like she's reminding us that she will always be with us. And that always made us both happy to feel her." I said with a small smile, but quickly disappeared when I remembered that one Easter.

"But she wasn't there that Easter."

The guys stayed silent as I continued talking, "Pitch destroyed Easter and took away the hope... Hope was gone and so was my Mom!" I exclaimed as I broke down in tears. "Pitch Black took away the one day we could have with her!" I cried, and not long, I felt Jack's arms around me, and I silently cried on his shoulder.

"I'm not afraid of him... I'm afraid of him taking away Easter... Taking away my Mom!" I whimpered out as my hands gripped Jack's blue hoodie. It didn't brother him or anything, because he just shushed me silently in his arms, and soon after I felt my brothers arms around us, giving a group hug.

They later pulled away from us and stood back a bit. Jack pulled away, but still kept his arms around me, and looked right into my green eyes with his bright blue eyes. "You're not going to lose her this time, okay?" Jack started, his voice full of seriousness. "Pitch is not going to get away with anything this time. We're not going to lose anybody. I promise..."

I stared into his eyes for a bit, before bringing him into a tight hug. "Thank you..." I whispered softly in his ear, getting a soft nod from him. He pulled away, giving me a small smile, before looking at the Turtles with a face full of seriousness.

"We need to warn the Guardians."
