"So how can we sneak you into my cabin" asked Percy as we walked back from dinner. "Maybe I can go and get my shower things and get in after that" I suggested "smart one wise girl" he said and his hand touched my shoulder, my heart jumped lightly in my chest. "Yeah I will see you in about five minutes" I said and waved good bye.

I didn't like to think about Percy because right now every time I though of him my face felt really hot and I wanted to run in circles and jump with manic energy. I didn't pay much attention to my cabin mates I just walked to my bunk and grabbed my towel, pjs, shampoo (trusty lemon scented) and set off to the showers.

I could see some campers but it's as dark as Tartarus tonight , I silently stepped out and scampered to Percy's cabin. "Percy" I whispered as I knocked lightly on the door. "Percy" I tapped on the door, I heard some shuffling and Percy's voice was muffled through the door, "Annabeth just let your self in" he said and then more banging. What in hades is he doing I though and pushed the door open. I must have looked like a tomato because when I closed the door and looked over at Percy he was in a lose tshirt and boxes, Okay we are best friends but come on have some decency. "Are you okay" said Percy and he stepped closer . I was trying to regain my thoughts but every part of me screamed ABBBBBBSSSSS. I couldn't face him, I ran to Percy's bed and then jumped onto his mattress and tried to drown myself in his pillow, it's smelled just like his salty scent and that just made my nerves scatter more. Percy's weight touched the bed as he sat. "Come one wise girl stop hiding" Percy poked my  hip . I rolled over and looked up at the bunk above me, Percy lay down next to me, "so wise girl how are you", I looked up and started over into his ocean eyes, my heart skipped beats and I managed not to blush and began to tell.

I told him about my school year and also my step mother and siblings and how I had not had any fights, I told him friends from school but still I didn't have many because I was bullied. He just listened and laughed sometimes, it felt right to tell him about this kind of stuff like we were normal kids . "I have Done more then enough talking, how are you Percy" I asked and looked into his endless green eyes, the way how he looked at me made my knees go weak, an I was laying down. Percy was about to open his mouth but then I remembered. "WAIT WIAT WAIT, I forgot to tell you, I met someone" I said, Percy looked confused for a second but then I saw his look change from happy and clam to lik I had never seen it before, "like you met a guy" he asked and something about his tone was different almost jealous. "What no, I met Aphrodite" I corrected, "met a guy are you crazy seaweed" I looked over and his face was Relieved. "No I just.....Aphrodite that strange" he changed the subject awe fully fast but I didn't see why to pester. "So i was as I was coming to camp, we pulled over rain a storm, she was in the ladies bathroom and was talked and she said that she was going to mess with me this summer" I said, Percy took in the large flow of information and thought for a second. "Look I wouldn't worry, Aphrodite can't do much without others helping" he said and lay back on his hands. "Yeah but I still doesn't feel right,what if she manages something" I shuffled closer to Percy now, our hands could touch they are so close. "Okay okay let talk more about it in the morning but I need my beauty sleep" Percy joked, "as do I need beauty sleep" I got to my feet and offered Percy my hand. "You don't need beauty sleep Annabeth, you're always beautiful" Percy complimented. "Ahh i... what" I stammered and felt my face blush , I dropped my hand and stroked a piece of hair back for my face. "Haha" Percy laughed at my awkwardness. We walked to the door and Percy opened it. "I will see you in the morning wise girl" Percy turned to me as I walked outside, "Yeah Umm Percy" I muttered as the cold air touched my skin. "Yeah Annabeth"
"You don't need beauty sleep either because you're always handsome" I tried to be confident but I melted inside when I looked over at Percy. He was bright red and his eyes were darting every where. "Night Seaweed brain"I said, I stood on my tippy toes and gave Percy a small kiss on his cheek, his blush was almost feverish but cute. I turned my back and walked to the showers. Percy called out after me, "Umm yeah sweet dreams A..Annabeth". I laughed to myself as I heard his door close.

I was drowning my self in the hot water of the showers. My lips on Percy's cheek and how he looked at me kept racing through my mind. "My seaweed" I whispered to myself, a feeling of hot pain shot in my body, "Ahh mmm" I gasped and gripped the shower wall. What the gods, the feeling was fading but it really hurt. I turned off the water and got a towel. What the heck was that, I felt really panicky, strange pain In the shower, it felt almost like a fire in my mind and chest. I pulled on my Pjs and walked back to the cabin. Everyone was whispering and giggling at my very long "shower" but I didn't care, I just wanted to know what that pain was, I should ask Chiron in the morning I though to my mind as I slipping in a dreamless sleep. What a nice sleep it was, if only I knew what would follow in the morning.
