Paige was on the airport saying goodbye to her dad, it was a hard thing for her as she had enjoyed her time with him.She was giving him a last hug before getting in line to have her passport checked. She waved to him one last time before she walked to the gate where she would take her flight. She texted Jessica to remind her to pick her up at the airport. 

P: I'll be arriving in two hours. 

J:Sorry, something came up . I asked Jesse to pick up you up and he accepted.

Paige couldn't help wonder if it was something Jessica did on purpose to set her up with Jesse, or if she meant it with what she said about not being able to pick her up. She just answered thanks and walked when her flight number was called. During the flight she took out a book she bought and started reading it. After her eyes started feeling heavy she put it away and took a nap. She woke up when she heard the announcement of the landing.

Paige walked looking for Jesse, and she saw him dressed with a tupper black jean, matching black boots, a dark blue Gap tshirt, and a cap. He had a huge smile on his face when he saw her and wrapped her with his muscular arms.She felt the essence of his after shave and cologne.

"Nice to have you back." He said after letting her go.

" Thanks for being here."

"You hungry?"

" We can stop at my place. I cooked, and i believe you'll like what i did."

"Sure."

He drove to an apartment complex and opened the door for her. It was decorated in a simple way, she thought it would be a bit more luxurious considering he worked as a model. He walked to the kitchen and as he opened his oven a heavenly smell came out.

" What did you cook?" She asked.

" Baked chicken with pineapple and brown sugar."

" Smells delicious.Can I help you with something?"

He served her chicken with rice and boiled vegetables with a glass of red wine.She digged in the food delightfully.

" This is amazing, I had no idea you were this talented."

" I'm studying at a culinary school. I pay for it with my modeling jobs."

" Wow, that's amazing. You would be an amazing chef."

" I hope to open my own restaurant someday."

"I know you'll reach that goal. If cooking is your passion, how did you get into modeling? " She asked sipping wine.

" Three years ago my dad lost his job,and my mom was told at an agency where she had some friends that I had to looks to be a model. At the beginning i wasn't thrilled, but I have liked it somehow."

" So you did it to support your family?"

" I did, don't misunderstand me, I enjoy modeling, but it's not something that passions me. I don't see myself doing it forever, specially since the modeling industry is obsessed with youth. What about you? Did you always see yourself designing?"

" My family situation was complicated too, when I had the chance to earn some money I bought my first sewing machine. I would look at the clothes outside the stores and do them for me."

" Like Jenny Humphrey from Gossip Girl?"

"Sort of, but she had a better family situation."

Paige thanked for the meal, and asked him to drive her to a hotel, but he insisted she should stay at his place and brought her luggage from his car.
He offered her his bedroom while he grabbed a pillow and a blanket to sleep on the sofa.

" Are you sure about this? I don't want to be a burden."

"You are not, you know where the bathroom is and anything you need to  look for me in the living room. "

He kissed her on the cheek and left the room. She changed into her pjs, and placed her head on the pillow. Paige didn't sleep inmediately, but started meditating on how nice Jesse was to her.

Amy stood nerviously at her laptop, it was the first she felt like this talking to Connor, and they were not even talking. She took a long sigh and logged in. Connor's face popped in the screen, looking really happy on seeing her.

"Sugarpie, it's lovely to see you after a this time."

" Thanks. I need to tell you something."

" Why do you sound so serious?" He asked concerned.

"You were right all this time.Long distance relationships are way too hard." She said looking down for a while.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Concern was all over his face.

" It's better if we break up. Distance is not helping us in any way."

"Are you talking about Gaby? She's my friend only. Sugarpie,we can work on this.Don't give up on us."

It killed her to listen to him call her that way. His voice sounded about to crack, and so did hers when she tried to open her mouth.

" It's better this way Connor, it really is. I wish you the best."

" Amy, please don't do this." He begged. "I love you."

" I love you too, but sometimes love is not enough."

Before he could say something else she logged out and turned off her laptop. Two minutes later her phone rang, with a call from Connor but she pressed the reject button. She messaged Dana telling her everything who arrived minutes later and hugged her when she saw her.

"Am, what can I do for you?"

" Please hold me.And tell me everything will be all right. "

"You'll be great. Want to tell me what happened? Or do you want to eat something? I can order something right now."

Dana knew by her recent experience a break up could be hard, specially since it was a similar experience since they were both in a long distance relationship. However she didn't want to make the mistake of saying something that could hurt her since she knew it wasn't exactly the same case as her. She was wanting in that moment to make her best friend feel better and be for her.
