I never drew her in my original cast, but since I ship Gingka and Madoka in Metal Fight Beyblade and this is put several years after the series ends, I decided to give them a kid.

She wasn't part of my original cast because she came much later when I'd fully watched the Metal Saga. And since Gingka is themed after stars and galaxies and stuff, I thought, "Why not give his daughter the name of star?" And since Hoshi means "star," I feel like it fits very well.
Hoshi Hagane (or the other way around as Hagane Hoshi, depending on how you wanna read it).

But then I realized a problem:
I didn't know what she looked like.
Welp, I had to fix that, didn't I?

In designing her character, I was debating on giving her Gingka's scarf, but that's kind of a trademark to him so I decided against it. The pink shirt is to represent Madoka, the blue headband and jacket are styled after her father's, and she sorta looks more like Gingka than Madoka. But I tried to still give her elements of both, and I'm honestly pretty happy with how her character turned out. Eventually I cut her hair short and changed up a few elements of her outfit, but I kept it relatively similar.

The practicality of her mother and the fun-loving spirit of her father make for a beautiful combination.

I realized eventually that poor Hoshi has the very heavy burden of her parents' legacy on her shoulders, and as peppy and friendly as she is, she becomes a nervous wreck when someone mentions tournaments because the thought of trying to maintain her father's legacy stresses her out. Poor thing, struggling with peer pressure and perfectionism.

Then again, I'm still planning ALL my OCs out. Oh well, let time tell the tale.
