It was later that night during the premiere of stranger things season three. After the first episode, everyone went to mingle near a bar and though at theses things you're supposed to have a good time, it was the complete opposite for Sadie.

She was standing with her back against the wall, watching everyone talk and laugh. She also carried a glass in her hand, sip it every once in awhile. She swore she probably had it for about an hour now.

She thought about calling you a million times and maybe talk about what happened, but she was too scared. The last thing she wants is another argument when she's trying to make it work and get back together, so she didn't bother.

Just from across the room Natalia noticed sadie wasn't acting herself. She knew of the break up between you and Sadie but she just didn't know how bad it had hurt her friend or what actually happened between you two, so she went to find out.

She approached sadie, "Usually, you're mingling with everyone here but tonight, there's only one thing clouding your mind right now— y/n."

Sadie awkwardly chuckled, "What gave it away?"

"You know you can tell me anything. You don't have to put a front with me." Natalia was quite direct.

Sadie took a sip of her glass before speaking, "Y/n did nothing wrong. They're literally perfect. It was me, I ruined everything. As much as I want to call them, I know it will turn into an argument and I just don't have the energy for that right now."

Natalia listened intently, "I'm gonna be blunt for a second but know it's coming out of a place of love." She resumed, "It was too good to be true, I get it. Exactly how I felt with Charlie when we first got together but know this, it's not worth losing. See, this kind of love is rare and once it's gone, you can't get it back. You can't replicate it with someone else. I was lucky to find Charlie when i did, but you are eighteen and you've already found it, so don't lose it." She then finished, "So you're going to pick up that damn phone and give y/n a call."

Sadie slightly smiled, handing Natalia her glass as she pulled her phone out her hand bag. As soon as Sadie pressed your name and put the phone up to her ear, Natalia gave her the glass back and then made her way back to the cast leaving Sadie all alone.

"Hey. . . " Sadie softly spoke once you answered.
