There was a moment of silence between the two of you as y'all stood in the kitchen. You were giving her the side eye as she looked like she was trying to figure out what to do next.

"I— uh—" She began to leave the kitchen, "I'm going to go upstairs and cool down for a bit."

"You mean text that guy you've been texting? Right." Honestly, you were sounding like an asshole, "And I'm going to check out girl's boobs cause apparently I do that a lot."

Sadie turned around, "Am I not good enough for you or something?! That's how I've been feelings for the past couple of weeks."

"Yeah and I wonder whose fault is that? At the end of the day, this is where I come home too." You gestured to your house, "Unlike you, I'm not texting some other dude." You then left the kitchen and headed upstairs.

Sadie tried her best not to cry, especially in front of you when y'all are arguing because she knows if you see her cry— you would comfort her. Thing was, you don't mean it. It's not like you don't care about her cause you do, it's just you hate seeing her cry when y'all are arguing. That forces you to forgive her which you're not ready too.
