Scene 12: Firing Range

Begins with Arthur practicing shooting wearing a protection gear. A certain, old man comes closer to him. 

Victor: Haven't seen you here in a while here. You were always here to practice except...

Arthur: Leave me alone!

Victor: You've got a new mission weren't you?

Arthur: How'd you know, dirty old man?

Victor: If only I was fast enough and a better man in the past, you couldn't have ended up like this...

Arthur: Shut up! Just answer my question, damn it!

Victor: Sigh... I am always watching you from afar. I have watched how you stained your innocent hands with blood.

Arthur: You're stalking me?!? You said you were watching me, what's your reason?

Victor: I want to stop you but I had no chance but now is different! Stay away from your new mission!

Arthur: You don't need to go that far, for me. Most of all, stop thinking you can let me out of this way of life! An assassin will always be an assassin.

Victor: What were you doing all this time that I left you alone to your master? Killing people? Slacking around and allowing your own hands stained with blood? Or... you are now trying to hide the truth about what you know to protect someone important to you? (Puts a cigarette in his mouth and lights it up.)

Arthur: Leave! I don't need an old man to give a silly, unneeded advices. More on, you're a traitor. I don't need advice from a man who betrayed a person whom I gave my loyalty since master took me away from a war-torn country.

Victor: You still don't remember what your master forced you to forget. The past is your way out of your current way of life.

Arthur: What I only know was that my master saved me from a war-torn country and showed me this way of life. I don't need to remember my rotten past!

Victor: Rotten? You're destroying your one life! Ever since then that your master took you away from your country, you began your own war. Do you want to know why I betrayed your master?!

Arthur: No. It will only pollute me. My mission's to kill Darius Kingsley and I don't need you talking about your past or my past! I am an assassin and to kill is my way of life!

Victor: (Bursts in laughter) Then why isn't he dead yet? You're always a good actor, Arthur, but its different now. Before, you needed to act like a normal human being but now you're struggling from acting like the same child your master have always wanted you to be! You seem to have changed and if there's a possibility that you fail from your mission, you will be killed!

Arthur: You don't need to say that to me! (Points the gun to Victor)

Victor: You've really changed, Arthur! Your eyes have emotions on them now, unlike before! Even if you point that gun to me and successfully kill me, I'd be much happier in death but disappointed that I couldn't get you out of that life!

Arthur: Who are you to say that to me?! You're not my father!

(Silence) Arthur and Victor do a staring contest.

Victor: Your eyes show that you're remembering faded memories your master told you to conceal, weren't they? You're not the assassin your master trained anymore! Your master never saved you but enslaved you in a life you don't deserve!

Arthur: Shut--- (groans.) Leave! Leave or I'll shoot!

Victor: I have always observed whatever you do and it seems, you have fallen so close to the person your master wanted to truly eradicate... No... you've fallen so close to the daughter of the person whom your master wanted to take revenge on and you're struggling to kill her as she makes you remember someone so important to you!

Arthur: That is not true! My master had always treated me, right. My master had always told me that I should live for the sake of killing as it is my way to show my loyalty. Lastly, I chose to forget my useless past!

Victor: It's a lie, Arthur. Free yourself from the chains your master gave you but if you don't want to, shoot me, now.

Arthur: Forgive me! (Pulls the trigger but the bullet doesn't even graze Victor.) (The bullet only goes to the floor.)

Victor: Arthur, everything will change if you finally let go of the memories you concealed. Don't listen to your master's words!

(Arthur pulls the trigger again and in the second time, he shot Victor on his right shoulder.)

Victor: Those eyes could save your soul, Arthur.

Arthur: No one can save me, Victor. I have sold my soul to the devil. (Shoots him again at his leg and turns his back on him.)

Victor: Why don't you kill me?

Arthur: I don't need to kill you. You don't deserve death in my hands.

Victor: (Struggles to stand up and seats on a chair.) I'll save you from those chains, no matter what! I won't fail!

Scene 13: Arthur's Nightmare
(Nightmare/Memory/Flashback)

Woman: Arthur! Run!

(Sounds of bombs and sounds of guns, shooting echoing the place and people running in fear.)

Young Arthur: (screams.) Help! Please, anyone, anybody, help! (Comes closer to the woman whose half of her body is bleeding heavily.) I can't leave you alone here.

Woman: Leave me, if you don't, you'd be captured or killed! You don't deserve to live in a country such as like this!

Young Arthur: Please stay with me! We'll get out of this country together! Don't die on me, please!

Victor: (Grabs him by the shirt.) What are you doing? If you don't run, we'd be captured or killed!

Young Arthur: But she's wounded! Someone I didn't see shot her! Please, carry her!

Victor: Is she that much important to you?

Young Arthur: She's important! Very important! Please help her, I'm begging you!

Victor: Forgive me, but even if she's very important, if you want to survive and leave for her sake, you'd consider her to be only be a baggage!

Young Arthur: But she's not a baggage! She'll never be a baggage!

Victor: (comes closer to the woman.) I'll take care of him, I promise and I will protect him.

Woman: Thank you, thank you! (Dies with eyes, streaming with tears.)

(Arthur disappears.)

Victor: Arthur! Arthur! Arthur!!! Where are you, Arthur?
...

Scene 14: Dormitory

Arthur wakes up delirious and afraid.

Darius: Good morning. (Opens a can of soft drinks.)

Arthur: (Holds his head which is aching.) Don't mind me.

Darius: Just answer one question. Why did you leave all of a sudden in Avalon's banquet? She was so worried. More on, where did you go? You got back dumbfounded and sad, streaked with tears!

Arthur: (On bed.) There's no reason to tell you about my reason! Just leave this place. No... Just leave me alone. I just woken up and you're quickly asking random questions. Aren't you going to the University?

Darius: Don't forget that I still see you suspicious, Arthur. I don't even know the reason why you are too silent about your past.

Arthur: Doubt the truth all you want, I don't care.

Darius: I may see you suspicious but I do know that your affection for her has just grown deeper. Trying not to look at her picture would only deepen that affection you have towards her. (The picture on the table is face down.)

Arthur: (Stands up and collars Darius.) Whatever you say, I don't love her anymore!

Darius: (sigh.) Acting isn't your forte, Arthur. Your gestures speaks enough that you like Avalanche. No. Something is different and it seems it grew deeper.

Arthur: Its Avalon, damn it! Don't call her like that! (Stands up and collars Darius.)... And... And... I don't like her!

Darius: (Takes his hands away from his shirt.) Now you're as butthurt like her. You love her, be honest with yourself! I'd leave now, goodbye. 

Scene 14: Streets of the University (After 6 months.)

Thomas: How's your investigation going about your room mate?

Darius: He's still a friend, outosama... But... I couldn't believe what I have learned about him!

Thomas: Don't you dare try to save him, Darius.

Darius: Are you saying he deserved what had transpired in his life? He's suffering!

Thomas: Lower your voice or everyone will look at you and everyone would know my Organization's secret!

Darius: I couldn't believe... I couldn't believe that he was entered in the University as an assassin to kill me by the enemy you've always feared.

Thomas: I never feared his master, only that I know that his master would enact revenge and try to bring down the Organization both of us built.

Darius: Both of you built White Flower Organization? Then why would his master destroy what was built? Why would his master even use him for revenge against you?

Thomas: I commited a sin against his master long before Avalon was born. I divorced my first wife and married Avalon's mother. More on, I kept Avalon and asked your father that I will adopt you to protect my daughter. Most people believe that I chose you as my heir even you're an adopted child of mine because of gender.

Darius: Sir, I know this is sudden but... Is... My father... Was he really dead?

Thomas: What kind of question is that? You saw him inside a coffin and was buried years ago.

Darius: I can't help but believe that he's not dead, sir. My investigation about him lead me to believe he's still alive all along.

Thomas: Your proof?

Darius: He appeared before me, wounded and told me the truth about Arthur. I thought I saw a ghost in front of me but I know for sure that it was him.

(Thomas is very much surprised but smiles.)

Thomas: He's back on his moves. Darius, your father is a good man, more on, many things will change in his return.

Scene 15: Darius's Room

Darius: Article 1, Article 2... 3, 4, 5... 6... and more articles to be read! Why are there so many articles!!!?

Arthur: Studying hard?

Darius: What about you? I haven't seen you reading any books at all.

Arthur: I don't need to. We've got no tests, anyway.

Darius: (smiles) I'm sorry for doubting you for six months... Also... I wonder why you're not doing anything wrong or even asking the reason why I finally decided to be friends with you.

Arthur: Why would I do something wrong? Friends with you? Even if most of the time you were just the one who kept talking in this room?

Darius: Yes. But for now, there's only one wish I have that I want you to do.

Arthur: Ask me anything. What is it?

Darius: Since the banquet, you avoided Avalon. She's in pain, Arthur. She's even asking if there's something she did wrong to you that lead you to stay away from her but now, I know the reason...

Arthur: (Clutches his right hand.) I... don't want to. She can keep treating me as a friend but she's just a stranger to me... No... I'm only a stranger to her.

Darius: Stop avoiding her, Arthur. That's my wish. Talk to her.

Arthur: I'll try to reason with her. It'll be my last meeting with her.

Darius: After you met with her, meet me in an abandoned warehouse. No buts. Just go, ok?

Arthur: You do know something about me. No. You already know the truth about me.

Darius: My decision is set. It is for her own good. If I can't help you, I'd have to do something to help her away from danger. She's an important individual for everyone who loves her.

Arthur: What if I can't?

Darius: Then, I'll force you.

Arthur: I won't do it but I'll try to talk to Avalon for the last time.

Darius: If that is your choice. I'll respect you.

Scene 16: Meeting Together Again

Avalon: Arthur! (Hugs him.)

Arthur: (Holds her shoulders and takes her away from him.) Please, understand that I can't... No... I don't know what to say at all!

Avalon: Why are you doing this?

Arthur: You won't understand!

Avalon: I can't leave! I won't leave!

Arthur: (Faces her and looks at her eyes and runs away but Avalon soon hugs her from his back.)

Avalon: Please, don't avoid me!

Arthur: What if I have to avoid contact with you?

Avalon: Then make me understand instead! Tell me the truth!

Arthur: You can't know the truth. It'll kill me. Forgive me but this should be our last conversation together. I'm leaving. Forget me, Avalon. Darius knows how much I care for you. (Leaves.)

Scene 17: Warehouse

(Dim lights.)

Arthur: DARIUS!!! Where are you? Show yourself! I know that you know something about me!

Darius: (From a distance.) Do your mission, Arthur! I know your secrets already.

Arthur: Darius! You know that I can't do it!

Darius: My father failed to save you from war...

Arthur: Why are you doing this?

Darius: You're my half-brother.

Arthur: Brother? That's impossible! No. I never had a brother!

Darius: It is true that I am your brother. Our father tried to save you countless times but he always failed! If I can't save you, I'd protect Avalon instead! Kill me, brother! You may be my half-brother but you are still a true brother to me.

Arthur: If you're truly my brother, I couldn't kill you more!

Darius: If you don't kill me, both of us would fail to protect Avalon from danger, Arthur! Your master would know the truth about me and he would force you to kill her instead!

Arthur: Please, don't make me do this!

Darius: The Organization's lie would strengthen more if you kill me.

Arthur: The woman in my dreams... Who is she? The woman that makes me sad whenever I see Avalon, who is she? Do you know?

Darius: Only father knows who it is, Arthur. Just like you, I never knew my mother. I have stayed in peace and quiet in many years, serving the Koizumi family along with our father... But... years after, a war broke out and went to save you in the country of where he came from... He told me everything... He told me he had a son in a country torn in war... He followed you everywhere and he soon went back home to inform me about you. He asked the Koizumi family to fake his death so he can freely follow you. I may be jealous but he did love you more than me... I believed a complete lie. When you were stolen from him, he searched for you even if he has to work under the enemy to make contact with you. But he failed. He failed! Don't make me become like him! I can't fail to protect and save a person who is very important to me!

(Lights open.)

Darius: (Walks closer to him.) So, I'm asking you instead, shoot me! We are not the right people who can get you out of your forsaken heart! This sacrifice isn't for you or mine. It's for Avalon! Think about her sake, Arthur, so that you can end your battle soon and rest!

Arthur:  No! I won't kill you!!!

Darius: (Points a gun to him.) If you don't kill me, I'll kill you instead. Victor should have killed you soon enough than trying to get you out of that life. You don't actually really deserve salvation, then!

Arthur: Salvation? Please, no... don't do this! Don't stain yourself with blood!

Darius: Begging for your life now?

Arthur: I don't deserve salvation, Darius.

Darius: Victor Kingsley is our father and he begged me to save both of you. As a half brother, this is my sacrifice.

Arthur: Victor... You said Victor is your father?

Darius: (Smirks.) He is our father, Arthur. Both of us just had different mothers. He chose you instead of me...!

Arthur: (Confounded.) I... I don't know what to do! Kill me instead!

Darius: Act like a true assassin, Arthur! That is not what an assassin should be! An assassin holds his emotions! Take this gun and be a true assassin!

Arthur: Darius... Are you sure with this?

(Darius smiles and nods.)

(Takes the gun in Darius's right hand while he is streaked with tears.)

Arthur: Forgive me... (shoots Darius.)

Darius: (Smiles) Thank you, brother...

(sound of a woman coming inside the warehouse and is in shock.)

Scene 18: End Flashback; Avalon's decision

Avalon: (In tears) Darius... thank you... for protecting me... I will forever be in owe with you...

Arthur: I shouldn't have shot him.... I shouldn't have shot him! Forgive me for what I have done... Avalon! (Hugs her) I shouldn't have obeyed him!

Avalon: No, its not your fault, Arthur. If I can see and heard it right, I know who your master is. You've never told your master's gender... Have you seen who your master is in your own eyes?

Arthur: What do you mean, Avalon?

Avalon: Call me Ava this time only. After this, I won't be angry that you call me Avalon.

Arthur: Ava... (Sighs and is a bit uncomfortable.) Please answer me, what do you mean by what you said? It is true that I have never seen my master in my entire life in my own eyes and whenever we meet, a black curtain separates us. My master's voice was always muffled, too, to protect who he might be.

Avalon: I understand.

Arthur: Ava... I should have been the right person to die... Not Darius... Now I don't know how to protect you.

Avalon: Darius died for our sake, Arthur! It wasn't just for me! He told you to kill him so that he could protect you from danger, too against your master! To strengthen the lie of my family, to protect me, he protected you!

Arthur: He could have chosen a better way... I regret killing him... I regret everything I've done in my whole life! My hands are stained with blood and after I killed him, I remember every faces streaked with fear and tears as I mercilessly devour their lives! But he was different... when I shot him... as he lay on the cold ground drowning in his own blood, he never showed a haunted, miserable face but he died with a smile!

Avalon: He returned your emotions that your master took away... I'm pretty sure that he's happy.

Arthur: He didn't return my emotions that I thought I threw away... you returned all of it to my heart. He only helped you return them to me.

Avalon: Arthur... do you know where your master resides in?

Arthur: Why?

Avalon: To end your battle and to set you free. I have to meet the person who took you away from your father and laid you in a battle you don't deserve... lastly, I have to meet that person who had a deep grudge to my father...

Arthur: You talk like you know something, Avalon! Tell me, Ava, did Victor asked both of you to sacrifice your lives for me? If so, please don't do this!

Avalon: I asked you to call me, Ava, am I right? I thought he was dead and I was so surprised when I met him again... He approached me and asked me, yes... To help you feel again. To help open your eyes to the truth and return what was lost since the war, your life.

Arthur: If I guide you where my master is... you'd be in danger and Darius's sacrifice will all be for naught!

Avalon: You are an important person to me, Arthur. Let me do my way now... to show my soul to you!

Arthur: (Hugs her tight.) Are you sure with your decision?

Avalon: My decision is set, Arthur... I have to meet that person.

Arthur: I will let you meet my master in one condition.

Avalon: What is it?

Arthur: Allow me to atone my sins if both of us survive this last battle. Do you promise to wait for me until I am truly free?

Avalon: I will and I swear. (Both do a pinky swear.) Finger cut-off, ten thousand fist-punchings, whoever lies has to swallow thousand needles. Arthur, while atoning for your sins, swear to me, too that you wouldn't forget me and I will always be in your heart!

Arthur: I swear... Ava... (Hugs her.)

Scene 19: Arthur's Master's Identity; Confrontation

(Dim Lights signifying twilight, Arthur and Avalon are walking on a street until they were finally near the location where the hideout of his master is.)

Arthur: (Sighs) I haven't seen this place for almost a year... A year ago... I was a heartless monster... An Assassin!!! But my master gave me a mission he trained me for his revenge but I failed him. Unknown truths surfaced and... (Turns around, stares at Avalon's eyes and smiles.) if he hadn't given me a mission I couldn't truthfully finish, I couldn't have met you nor learn the truths he had kept from me!

Avalon: (Stares at his eyes and holds both of his hands) Arthur, you may have been a heartless monster before but I will still love you.

(Lights slowly brighten itself to signify that they are getting closer to where his master is.)

Guard: Your master's waiting. You've finally accomplished your mission, right?

Arthur: I... have finally killed Darius, yes.

Guard: Good. Your master is waiting inside his room.

Arthur: Let's go, Ava.

Guard: (When Ava and Arthur passed through him, he turns around.) Who's the girl, Arthur? (smirks.)

Arthur: (freezes) I am an assassin, yes... But can't I find love on my own?

Guard: You know you aren't allowed to have anyone. You are ordered to be alone!

Arthur: I am human. Why wouldn't I feel them?

Guard: Who is she, Arthur?

Arthur: Someone I want to be with forever.

Guard: She can't get inside here and you are not allowed to have anyone else have your loyalty! (Pulls the trigger to kill Ava but Arthur hugged her and he was shot at his shoulders.)

Avalon: Arthur! (Cries.)

Arthur: I'm fine, Ava. Its just a scratch.

Avalon: But...

Guard: You're a traitor!!! (Points his gun to him to kill him and pushes an alarm button but someone both did not see shot him instead. Arthur begins to kill everyone who tries to untangle them.)

Arthur: Stay behind me. Don't leave me, ok? (Keeps protecting Avalon but when he sees that there were police killing the armed men who kept trying to kill them, Arthur holds Ava's hands and both run until they reach his master's room.)

(Dim lights, the lights slowly brighten again. )

Arthur: Master...

(Behind a curtain.)

Master: What kind of commotion am I hearing?

Arthur: Master! (With tears.)

Master: Speak, Arthur.

Arthur: Its... Its nothing. But, master...

Master: Are you here to report your accomplishments?

Arthur: I... Have lots of questions I want you to answer! I have killed Darius already! Please... I don't want the life of an assassin anymore!

Master: Aren't you being disloyal!? You will stay in this place.

Arthur: No, Master. Its only that... my conscience won't hold any longer. Every person I killed is haunting me... No... Memories I concealed and sealed, opened suddenly. Please, set me free.

Master: (Opens the curtain a bit.) The woman behind you, had she hypnotized you to leave me?

Arthur: Master, she just wants to meet you... Its just that, whenever we meet, you are always behind that curtain that I never knew who you truly are. I want to be free, Master.

Master: You don't deserve freedom!

Avalon: Don't deserve freedom? You used him for very long already and he killed anyone you asked for! You, who is hiding behind his every crime, come out and look at my eyes! Don't hide yourself and face us! You bound his arms and legs into a self-inflicted war. You may have taken him out in a war-torn country but you sent him into a war that he cannot end himself!

Master: Who are you? Who are you to Arthur which I raised as my own-

Avalon: Why would I answer that question? Your own? Raised him? You didn't take care of him! You made him suffer more! He's human and not a machine! He didn't deserve to keep living as an assassin!

Master: Answer me, woman! He's been abandoned!

Avalon: Abandoned?

Master: You can't steal him from me, WOMAN! I won't allow you to steal him from me!

Arthur: Master... I'm sorry... Just... Let me leave... (almost in tears.) Stop, Ava.

Avalon: Stop? Your master would ask you to assassinate again!

Master: Woman, leave! (Speaks to Arthur.) I still need you to stay even if you finally killed Thomas Koizumi's son and heir of White Flower Organization. Now that you've killed him, your new mission is to ruin his family. If you're done with that, I'll set you free.

Avalon: I can't leave and I wouldn't leave!

Arthur: Master... (In tears.) I don't want to be an assassin anymore. I don't think I could live longer as an assassasin.

Master: Arthur!

Avalon: You want to know who am I, right? (Laughs hard.) You thought you have killed the real heir using Arthur's innocent hands and you still want him to ruin an innocent family? Recognized people who are helping the poor and an advocate of peace and stability? You're wrong. I know Darius's sacrifice might all be for naught as he did it to ensure my safety but you, treating Arthur the same as a gun! Arthur's human and not your gun whom you can keep pulling the trigger! I am Avalon Koizumi, the true heir!

Master: What kind of betrayal is this, Arthur!?

Arthur: (Holds Avalon's hands and looks at her shocked.) Why did you say? You shouldn't have! Have you forgotten what Darius wanted why he died? Why... Why he forced me to kill him?

Avalon: (Stares at his eyes for a minute and would act like he didn't hear Arthur) Come out of where you're hiding!

Master: You came here to die, aren't you? Are you so hurt by Darius's death that you chase death? (Comes out with a gun and points the gun to Avalon.)

Avalon: (Surprised and tears fall over her eyes.) Felicity... Forester... Aren't you... My father's first wife? My father would talk about you a lot. My father told me that you are a great woman and so, you were a woman I looked up to as a child... than to my mother who never even took care of me. How... Why?

Felicity: Avalon... Koizumi! You said your father was Thomas and is the real heir?

Avalon: Felicity! Why do you badly want revenge against my family... Especially to my father? What did they do to you that you resorted to violence and use an innocent man for your personal revenge against my family?

Felicity: Isn't it obvious enough? Your father abandoned me to stay with his mistress! I was a proud woman who helped him build his dreams and I fed him enough political power and money until he met your mother in a gathering of all professors in a famous University who stole him away from me. She forced me to leave the organization even I was pregnant with a boy who could have been his real heir but he sided with his mistress and abandoned us! I told him about my pregnancy but he acted like he didn't hear me! I left him and the Organization but I soon fell in despair and my son died in my womb. I almost died in a surgery. For so many years, I suffered in depression wishing to carry my dead son in my arms but I couldn't. That gave me enough strength to create a syndicate to destroy your family who made me suffer so much! Avalon Koizumi, you're a woman and I know you'll understand me. Please, die for your evil father! (Pulls the trigger, Arthur hugs Avalon and his right arm begins to bleed.)

Avalon: Arthur, you're bleeding!

Arthur: I'm fine, it's just a scratch.

Avalon: But-!

Arthur: Are you a fool to have told her the truth? Do you want his sacrifice to be all just a trash?

Avalon: Forgive me... (Her tears are flowing so hard.)

Thomas: (Sighs behind Arthur and Avalon; Looks at Felicity with sad, sorrowful eyes as he walks closer with a gun.) You never listened to my reasons in the past, weren't you?

Felicity: Reasons? Really? You abandoned me and your son!

Thomas: I never abandoned you, Felicity. I thought you voluntarily left me alone due to my parents' persistent persuasion that I divorce you! I told them I owe you so much in my success but... I was forced to marry Angela. They wouldn't listen to me. I agreed to divorce you or else her family would hurt you until a war broke out in a nearby country. Victor told me that he had left his first son back at his home but you stole his eldest son away from him and is destroying him to destroy me. You're chasing death, was I right? Are those pains too much? If you can't forgive me, I would kill you to finish those pains I inflicted! I have always loved you, Felicity!

Felicity: Koizumi, the commotion outside, its your fault, weren't it? When I sent Arthur, have you been investigating where I could be with Victor? If you keep me, I would keep chasing you out to take my revenge even I free Arthur from my hands and let him repent for his crimes. If you want to help Arthur, if you really love me, the only revenge I can do now is for both of us to die instead! (Tries to pull the trigger but Thomas shoots first and bullet shots her on her head.)

Thomas: (Points the gun to his head.) I can't let your hands stained with blood. Let me do the shot, instead!

Avalon: (Runs to his father and throws the gun away from his father.) Outosan... Yamete... (Cries.) Don't blame yourself, I'm begging you! I would still look at you as my father... Whatever happened in the past would all be in the past! I'm begging you, don't ever try to kill yourself again!

(Angela enters the scene with some police following her and runs to them. Angela embraces her daughter full with tears on her eyes.)

Angela: Are you not hurt?

Avalon: I'm fine, mom. Arthur protected me.

Angela: (Sees Felicity's corpse) Daughter... (Worried.) Forgive me for keeping the past from you.

Avalon: Its alright, mom. Whatever happened in the past won't affect me but...

Arthur: I'm fine, Avalon.

Avalon: You're calling me Avalon, again... do you think everything has ended already?

Arthur: I'm sorry... But... I have to say good bye to you for a while. I would admit all the crimes that she ordered me. Let me... repent them.

Arthur: Even if you conceal the truth, it would only give more burden to me. I will be fine inside the prison cell, Avalon.

Avalon: But you were forced to kill them!

Angela: Daughter, let him do what is right.

Arthur: I am still an assassin as long as I don't admit the crimes I did for years. Let me... have my redemption.

Avalon: (Hugs Arthur who were in tears.) Come back to me after you finished your last battle! I would help you again to heal those wounds! Come home to me, soon, Arthur!

Angela: We will help you get a parole soon enough.

Arthur: Thank you. (Faces Avalon.) This isn't a goodbye, Ava nor the ending but a new beginning. Don't forget me, ok?

Avalon: (Clutches Arthur's clothes with her tears.) Baaka! (Smiles) Do you even think I will forget you!? Do you think I can forget you?

Thomas: Arthur, if you still have questions regarding Darius, Victor would willingly answer them.

Arthur: Sir, it can wait. (Comes closer to a police officer and admits all his crimes. The police handcuffs him and sends him out but Avalon runs to him and hugs him.)

Police: Let go, ma'am.

Arthur: I'll be fine, Ava.

Avalon: You called me Ava again. I'm happy. (Leaves and watches him leave.)

(Lights off.)
