Defense of The Rebels
Chapter 6.
-------------
My bare feet smack against the concrete floor, going faster and faster. Xavier's heavy footsteps sounded close behind me. I pushed harder, grabbing the corner wall to swing into the next hall. I stumbled slightly, but kept running. I sprinted down that corridor, hearing him slide into the hall behind me. I saw the dining room, and grabbed the doorframe to swing into the room. All eyes locked on me as I ran in, Damien jumping up from his seat.
I suddenly felt a large pair of arms wrap around my waist, swinging my body to the floor. I was like a rag doll in his hands as Xavier, lifted me up and threw me into the nearest wall earning a loud crack from my body. A pain filled cry escaped my lips, as Damien's screams for me and the others gasps filled my ears. My vision went blurry again as I went numb. I watched Xavier drive his fist repeat idly into my stomach and even heard pops from inside myself. But I felt nothing, complete numbness. The pain was excruciating, I'm sure. But I couldn't feel it. I watched as Damien pulled Xavier off me, slamming him to the floor. I watched their brawl, Damien receiving most of the blows. My body stayed still, pressed against the cold concrete wall. Melody ran to my side, while Benson and Delilah pulled Xavier and Damien apart.
Then, something snapped into head again. My body once again moved on its own as I pushed past Melody. I ran to the table, picking up the nearest chair. Lifting it over my head, I hurled it at Xavier. It smashed against his head, causing him the tumble out of Benson's grasp. I moved quickly, then, grabbing a piece of broken wood and slinging myself onto his back. I swung the object, smacking him over and over again. He fought hard, slamming me into walls and object nearby. But I clung onto him, still swinging. Soon, he screamed in pain and the blue liquid appeared onto my weapon. While still clinging to him, I slammed the wood down one last time, as hard as my arms would let me. It hit a spot just below his skull. Xavier gasped in pain, and froze. He slowly fell to his knees, his eyes rolling back into his head, and falling to the ground, face down.
My mind lurched back to reality, and I let his body go. I raised my head to look around. All eyes were locked on me in shock, and Melody trembled slightly. Damien's mouth lay open, his eyes searching me for some kind of sanity. My body began to tremble as I slowly lowered my gaze to Xavier's beaten body. His head lay sideways, eyes rolled back and open. His mouth remained open, pushing out warm blue liquid. A large gash indented on the back of his skull now. I dropped my weapon, listening to it roll across the concrete floor. Bitter silence enveloped the room as I felt a familiar lurch in my stomach. Quickly, I jumped off his body, crawling backwards as my face expressed pure terror. I felt the wall press against my back, and curled into a ball. My body shook violently, and a shaken whisper left my lips, "I... I did it... again..." My eyes stayed locked on his body as a scream of horror ripped out of me. I squeezed my eyes shut, and a large pair of hand rested on my shoulder as another scream left me.
My stomach curled, and I threw myself to my hand and knees, vomiting to the side of myself. I heard Damien's soft coos in my ear, and felt him wrap his arms around my waist from behind. He rubbed my stomach as I continued to vomit. Tears rolled down my cheeks, and I continue to tremble. Damien pulled me into his chest once I finished emptying my stomach, and I curled into a tight ball. He rocked my body back and forth as I sobbed into his chest. I felt another pair of hand rub my back soothingly. I kept my eyes shut, burying my face into Damien's shirt. Another whisper left my lips, "I'm... gonna be punished.... aren't I..?" Damien continued to rock me, "No. This wasn't your fault. And you saved us all. Xavier would have killed us if you hadn't of been here." His soft voice comforted my mind, stopping my sobs. But I continued to tremble as a darkness clouded my vision. My body calmed, my mind numbed, and their voices slowly faded.

I awoke in a large bed, softer than the one before. My body ached, and my head throbbed. I turned my head to see a bloody needle and surgical thread on the nightstand. "Guess I popped my stitches during all that excitement." I mumbled to myself. I heard a soft groan, and felt a pair of large, warm arms wrap around my bare waist. I flipped over, only to see a beautiful man sleeping next to me. His face relaxed, his body pressed to mine. I reached my hand up to stroke his cheek, "Damien..." I whispered. His grip on my waist tightened, but he pulled one arm away, reaching up to wrap his hand around mine. He brought it to his lips, and opened those startling eyes of his. A twitching heat formed below my hips as he pressed my hand to his lips, kissing it softly. I bit my lip, rubbing my knees together under the blanket attempting to relieve the heat. Quickly, he flipped me onto my back, pulling himself between my legs. He placed his head on my shoulder, burying his face into my neck. I could feel his soft lips trailing up to my ear, licking in between each kiss. I shivered, moaning softly as he brought his lips to my ear. "Good morning, baby girl." He whispered, then placed his hand beside my head, pushing himself up. I smiled, my face flushed, "Good morning, Damien." His name left my lips in a soft purr. He smirked, "You know, we never did finish from last time." He stated, pushing his groin to mine. I bit my lip again, suppressing a moan. I reached up, placing my hand on his bare chest. I ran my finger down his torso, tracing his abs. Then, I placed my arms around his neck, "Then, finish it." I stated coolly, bringing his mouth to mine.
