Always and Forever

19 Years Ago....

It was a glimmer day in Chicago, in the apartment from the left, inside the apartment, a black haired woman with round brown eyes smiled as her hybrid lover Klaus Mikealson kissed her passionately.

She wore a off the shoulder white dress as she chuckled saying "Nik stop it, that tickles." which is when Nik said "You brought this on yourself my luv." as the woman giggled before placing one more kiss on Klaus's shoulder as she laid down in his arms.

He stroked her dark hair as the woman asked "Is this going to be forever Nik ?"

Klaus asked "Do you want it to be ?" as the woman asked "I wouldn't ask for anything else in the world." which is when she placed a tiny kiss on his cheek before she gave a heartwarming smile which is when Klaus ran a finger over her cheek, his finger moving down to her smooth pale stomach.

Unlike everyday, Laura Lopez's was skinny, but Klaus noticed when he had come to visit once again that she had picked up some weight on her stomach.

Laura rose to grab a sip from her six cup of water today as she snacked on a tiny piece of apple.

Klaus asked "Love, I don't want to be offence, but I've notice you've picked up some weight on your stomach there." which is when Klaus got up fixing his pants before going over to Laura and putting his hands around her stomach which caused Laura to jolt.

"Nik ! I've just been putting on some weight, it's nothing special." as she took her dress off putting it in her laundry bin before changing into her white lace underwear and lace bra which made her stomach show more.

"Don't get offense, It was just a comment." which is when Laura use the apple slice to point at him adding, "A comment that will get you killed." as Klaus chuckle before Laura smiled at him.

He then said "I have to go my sweet, business awaits." which is when Laura added "So soon, must be special I didn't even get to have a bedtime story."

Klaus added "Soon you will." as Laura wrapped her arms around her neck adding, "Goodbye Nik, come back soon alright, next weekend your's suppose to be taking me to Korean."

"I'll bet on it." which is when Klaus gave her a kiss his messy blonde hair shinning in the lamp light which is when he speed off.

Laura grinned before she placed her hand over her stomach. She sighed before going inside her bathroom and digging inside the trash can and seeing the positive pregnancy test.

She ran her finger over it and then to her stomach before she gave a slit sniffle. She wasn't ready for a baby, she didn't even want kids and she was sure Klaus wasn't ready for kids either.

She then groaned before going into her bedroom hiding the test in her pillow as fixed her hair and her robe before going to the living room...

"As I said a thousands time Joseph, your wife dress should be ready during by this even." Ava told her client over the phone.

Ava wasn't worried about the fact that she had gotten a strawberry donut instead of a regular vanilla one, nor was the worried at the fact she couldn't catch a taxi, everything was going well in her mind.

Her brown almond eyes where bring covered by her rhinestone shades and her black hair was straighten.

"Yes, I will be sure to add the blue like you ask, ok talk to you later, goodbye." as Ava siped her coffee right before biting into her dount.

She wiped the sides of her mouth with her painted nails. "So that makes two brand new outfits I need to before my grand fashion showcase tomorrow."

Ava smiled. All her life she had been waiting for this moment, her time to shine and live in the spotlight, most of the time she would spend most of her nights coloring in her fashion color book where all you had to do was stick the stickers on the model.

She knew what went with what and how it was suppose to look. She gleamed from ear to ear before making it to her car.

It was a white Ferrari LaFerrari. She got her keys out which is when she felt some sort of presence coming from behind her.

"Hello anyway there ?" she called out, when she saw nobody she hunched her shoulders.

She saw a girl behind her, she saw her from her glass mirror and with that she she said "Hello Ava."

Ava asked "Who are you-" the girl flick her hand out and she went into her car window hard before blood went all over her and she passed on the ground.

Before she knew it, Ava groaned on her face before she rose her face, her hair was messy and all over her head and her makeup was ruined.

She ran her finger over her forehead to feel a bloody scar as she looked at her finger covered in her own blood. "You look like you could use this." she heard which is when she looked up to see a girl.

She had brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing comfortable clothing and boots.

She held a cloth for Ava.

Ava was heist but took it from her. "This doesn't look like Chicago anymore" as she looked around to see she was in some sort of cemetery.

She took in a deep breathe before asking "Who the heck are you ?" as the girl said "Better yet who are you ?"

Ava took in a breathe saying "Ava, Marian Lopez." as she rose to her feet asking "You are ?"

"Hayley. Marshall." as Ava said "Nice to meet you Hayley." as Hayley said "I guess." as Ava asked "Know how to get out of here ?" as Hayley said "Tired, it's impossible but knock yourself out"

"I don't believe in impossible." with that Ava heard the squeaking of a gate.

She picked up "This is sacred ground, which means vampires have to be invited in. But, since I'm desperate... Come on in."

Ava rose a brow ? Vampires.

"Is someone coming ?" Hayley asked Ava as Ava said "Yeah, ssh, I don't know who but someone is."

Ava was a bit nervous and somewhat scared, why would someone kidnapped her, she thought she was a nice person.

"We can talk freely here."

"Then I suggest you start talking. What did your sister want with Niklaus?"

" Isn't it obvious? We have a vampire problem, and we need help. Marcel has an army backing him. The witches have been trying to fight back."

"We haven't had much luck, until my sister Jane-Anne met a girl, a werewolf passing through the quarter from a small town in Virginia along with a girl who some fellow witches took from Chicago. They have a special connection to your brother."

"What kind of connection?" the man asked as Ava peeked her head out trying to hear.

"Apparently, they spent some time together. One thing led to another and now this special werewolf girl – she's pregnant. And the father of the child she's carrying is your brother Klaus. The other one is Klaus's mystery daughter."

"Klaus ? " Ava questioned herself.

"That's impossible."

"Nothing is impossible, especially not when it comes to your brother. Think about it – they call him the hybrid, right?" as the girl turned her head and shouted "Bring them out !"

Three witches suddenly bring Hayley and Ava out as they stood in a formation around them.

Ava looked at the man. He wore a elegant suit, the seeming on it was in her opinion fabulous.

The man watched them both of them interested, Ava had a annoyed look on her face and Hayley shared it.

Ava sighed sitting down before she meet eyes with the man who was her acclaimed "uncle." and who's name was Elijah.

He had brought Ava and Hayley to a burial vault, lit by numerous candles on the walls around them.

"So, have they been holding you both here against your will?"

Hayley spoke up adding "They lured me out to the bayou and grabbed me. And they did all these... weird witchy tests. Not that I understand how this could happen. I mean, vampires are dead. They can't have children!"

Ava stood up fixing my jeans "Same goes to me ! They dragged me out here out ! In my good heels by the way and now I'm stuck here, I have my biggest client ever tomorrow and I'm spending my time in the hot bayou ! God I've never felt a bigger head ache in my life !"

"Perhaps Ava and Hayley if you knew my brother's story, it might explain how this is possible. Here, if I may."

Elijah tried to lay his hand on Hayley's temple, but she pulled away.

"What are you doing ?" Ava asked him arms crossed. "Relax. If you open your mind to me, I can show you, both of you ?" as Elijah held his hand out to Ava.

Ava took in a breathe, before she rubbed her arm and took his hand as Elijah used his other hand to touch her head as all three of their eyes closed.

In the flashes of memories Ava saw her so called "father" and saw her father fighting in swords with Elijah and another blonde haired women and small brown haired boy.

"Although our mother dabbled in the dark arts, we were actually just a family trying to survive in a time when it was quite difficult to do so. And, for better or worse, we were happy."

" That is, however, until one night, our youngest brother was killed by our village's greatest threat."

Ava heart dropped. The death of child, she could never imagine that. As she saw Klaus come out with the body of her uncle.

"Men that could transform themselves into wolves during the full moon. Our family was devastated, none more than Niklaus. Desperate to protect the rest of us, our father forced our mother to call upon her black magic in order to make us stronger."

She saw, what she guess to be her grandfather, making all three of the Mikealson's feed and drink blood.

"Thus, the first vampires were born. But with this speed, this strength, this immortality, came a terrible hunger. No one felt this hunger more than Niklaus."

She saw Klaus kill a person, he dropped their body to the ground as Elijah said " When he killed for the first time, we knew what he truly was."

He let out bloody screams as his's bones cracking and breaking as Elijah and Klaus came out hearing the screams until they found out what he was, a werewolf.

All she could hear was her so called grandfather saying "He's a beast, an abomination !"

"He wasn't just a vampire."

"He was also a werewolf. That's how the werewolf curse works. It isn't activated until you take a life."

"Niklaus was the result of an indiscretion our mother had hidden from us all. An affair, with a werewolf like yourself."

"Wow, how fun, my so called dad was hybrid." Ava added as Elijah said "Enfuriated by this betrayal, my father forced our mother to cast a spell that would suppress Klaus's werewolf side, denying him any connection with his true self."

Ava saw her grandfather bind Klaus to a wooden cross and Elijah was helping him, which is what Ava questioned.

Hayley then added "You're dad was a d*ck." as Ava added "And my so called step grandfather, gosh this is confusing."

" I'm Hayley, by the way. You should probably know my name if you're gonna tell me your whole life story. I mean, I know yours. Your family is legendary. Your brother is a notorious psycho... who I slept with. Classic me." as Elijah turned to Ava waiting for her to introduce herself.

Ava rolled her eyes, "I'm Ava, your so called half niece if that's even possible, I just wanna go."

"I cannot excuse his behavior, but you must understand, when our father hunted him – hunted us – for centuries, every time we found a moment of happiness, we were forced to flee. Even here, in New Orleans, where we were happiest of all. Not long after Niklaus broke the spell which prevented him from becoming a hybrid, he defeated our father. "

"I thought this would make him happy. He was angrier than ever. I wonder if perhaps this baby might be a way for my brother to find happiness. A way to save him from himself."

"Sounds like a hot head." Ava grumbled when Sophie came over " I'm glad you feel that way, because we need your help."

"What, precisely, is it that you want and what does it have to do with theses young woman?"

"We want to run Marcel and his vampires out of town. Klaus is the key. Everything Marcel knows about being a vampire, he learned from Klaus. Marcel trusts him, looks up to him, and he won't see the betrayal coming."

"Yes, well, as I'm sure you're aware, my brother Niklaus doesn't like to be told what to do."

"That's why I brought you here. Marcel drove the werewolves out of town decades ago. Do you really think he's going to welcome a hybrid baby and who even know's what Ava is to the neighborhood? Convince Klaus to help us, and no one has to know about the two newest member of the Original family."

"That sounds remarkably like blackmail."

"Like I said, I'm desperate."

"Well, then, I have my work cut out for me, don't I?"

Klaus was standing on the balcony when Elijah appeared out of the wind. "Evening, Elijah."

"Niklaus."

"What an entirely unwelcome surprise."

"And what an entirely unsurprising welcome. Come with me."

"I'm not going anywhere, not until I find out who is conspiring against me."

"I believe I just found that out for you." as Klaus gave him a look.

Klaus and Elijah where back at the cemetery. Some witches along with Ava and Hayley are present.

"Sophie Deveraux," Klaus told her as he asked "What is this ?"

"He's all your's." Elijah told him as he added "Proceed."

"You know you're famous in this town. Witches, tell bedtime stories about the powerful vampire Klaus. We know Marcel was nothing but an orphaned street rat you made him what he is. And now he's out of control. He does what he wants, he kills who he wants. I'm gonna stop him and you're gonna help me."

Klaus smiled before looking at his brother, he didn't understand why he was hear at all, Marcel wasn't his problem why should he care ? "This is why you brought us here ?"

"Hear her out." Elijah told him with that Ava, Hayley and some fellow witches walked in.

"What is she doing here ?" Klaus asked seeing Hayley though he said nothing about Ava.

"Marcel may be able to keep us from practicing real magic in this town, we still know when nature has cooked something up something new. For example, I have a special gift of sensing when a girl is pregnant." as Ava rose a brow.

"What ?" Klaus said anger on his face. Klaus faced Elijah before adding "What is she saying ?" as Elijah said "The girl is carrying you're child, and miss Ava over here is your long lost daughter."

Klaus gasped quietly as he took it in before meeting eyes with Hayley and Ava.

"No. It's impossible."

"I said the same thing myself."

"This is a lie. You are all lying. Vampires cannot procreate." as Sophie said "But werewolves can. Magic made you a vampire, but you were born a werewolf. You're the Original hybrid, the first of your kind. And this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes."

"You've been with someone else, admit it!" Klaus yelled to Hayley as Hayley said "Hey, I've spent days held captive in a freaking alligator bayou because they think that I'm carrying some magical miracle baby. Don't you think I would've fessed up if it wasn't yours?"

"And I have been stuck here to, you think I wanna know about the man who bailed on me when I was a baby !" as Klaus eyed her.

"My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy. Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us. We can keep them save. Or we can kill them. If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Hayley won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress and Ava won't be alive either."

"Excuse me ?" Ava asked her as Hayley added "Wait, what?"

"Enough of this. If you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself." Elijah said.

Sophie said " No. We can't, not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow, and there are rules."

Elijah looked to Klaus waiting to see his reaction about everything that was just happening.

"How dare you command me, threaten me, with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses. This is a pathetic deception. I won't hear any more lies."

"Niklaus!... Listen." as Klaus could hear the heartbeat of the baby. He looks at Hayley, then his attendance turned to Ava, she looked just like her mother and his past love Laura, who didn't even tell him she was pregnant.

Ava gave him a look maybe he would save her life, maybe he wasn't that bad he then at his brother and the witches.

Kill Hayley, Ava and the baby. What do I care?" as Klaus left.

Ava had tears in her eyes as she said "You know what screw him and this !" as Hayley added equally having enough of the situation. "Screw this. I'm out of here!"

"No one touches the girl. I'll fix this." as Sophie nodded.

All the witches where gathering around Ava thought they where having their own secret cult meeting as she messed with her ring's on her fingers as she wiped some of the tears in her eyes.

"Marcel and his vampires are out of control. Something had to be done."

"And the solution is to bring in more vampires?"

"These aren't just any vampires, Agnes. They're the Originals."

"What makes you think you can control the hybrid?" Elijah came appearing on the wall.

"She can't. I'm not entirely certain that I can, either. But now that your coven has drawn his ire, I have a question: What prevents my brother from murdering you instead of cooperating?"

Sophie took a needle and shows it to the Original. She sticks the needle into her hand.

"Ow !" Sophie said along with Hayley.

"Elijah looked at them, there was a drop of blood on their hands the same spot where Sophie hurt herself.

"What the h*ll !" Hayley yelled to her which is when Sophie added "The spell my sister performed, the one that got her killed? It didn't just confirm the pregnancy. It linked me to Hayley and since she also tracked Ava it links me to her to."

"So anything that happens to me, happens to her, which means her life is in my hands. Klaus may not care about his own children, but it's very clear what it already means to you. If I have to hurt Hayley and Ava, or worse to ensure that I have your attention, I will."

Elijah was amused as he added "You would dare threaten an Original?"

"I have nothing to lose." as Ava mutter "Yeah expect your own life." as Elijah grin went away from his face.

"You have until midnight to get Klaus to change his mind."

Elijah thankfully was able to convince his brother to help the witches with their plans, so they could have Hayley and Ava be safe. Ava didn't even look at Klaus when she forced inside of a new home.

She couldn't believe, her life was changing before her very eyes, believe it or not it was a huge headache.

Ava was inside her room, she pulled a sheet from the bed as she coughed due to all of the dust.

"Are you alright?" as Ava said with a small voice crack "I'm fine." as she sat down on the bed as Elijah could tell, her niece very much wasn't.

"He doesn't care about me doesn't he ?" as Elijah huffed before Ava added turning to him, "You can just tell me the truth, he doesn't want me, he's just doing this for power right, because that's all that matter to Klaus. He just's never going to change, maybe he'll do right for my sister, it's to late to fix me."

"Mom never wanted kids, just put me in a bunch of hobby's to get rid of me, keep me busy and away from here. When I have kids I'm not going to be like Klaus or my mom, I'm going to be better."

"You're father-" as Ava said "He's my father, but not my dad."

"I will always protect you. You have my word on that." as Ava added "Thanks." as she gave a slit smile.

"And noble Elijah always keeps his word." as Ava rolled her eyes before fixing her hair.

Klaus noticed as he said "You look like Laura." as Ava said with sarcasm, "Thank god I don't look like you." as Elijah said "Brother." to stop Klaus from saying something stupid.

"Is it done ?" as Klaus said "As a matter of fact, yes. Your underhanded deal worked quite well. Marcel was only too happy to accept my blood even as he accepted my heartfelt apologies. His man, Thierry, yet lives and I remain a welcome guest in the French Quarter. My only concern now is this coven of impudent witches."

"I believe them to be honorable. They did release Hayley and Ava to me. Although, they haven't been entirely forthcoming. Marcel obviously has something that they need. They don't want him dead. There must be a reason why."

"I don't mean to interrupting you two planning a murder cause that's normal here, but can you both um ask Hayley if she wants to bunk with me, I trust her."

Elijah nodded as Ava said "Thank you, get out Klaus." as Ava gave a slit smirk as Klaus narrowed his eyes.

Ava fanned both of them along before she closed the door to her room before she called out "Hayley, I can make a mean souffle if you want one."
