"He's in the wrong!"

"So? Apologise," Athena ordered, checking her watch before glaring at the two recruits and wanting to kill them both. She chose the black sheep of the Bain family and Chloe gave her the top recruit. They have been at each other's throats for weeks now. The two are giving Athena the worst headaches of her life. "Apologise or you will sit here until you do."

"What? You may be an Auclair b—"

"I don't care what you have to say but apologise or you might as well forget about a career as an Auror. I don't fuckimg care if your family is rich. You want to pay Chloe, then go ahead and see how much she enjoyed rejecting it."

Athena got up from Juliette's chair and tied the two with a charm while she headed out of the Bureau with her team.

"What's happening?" Regis spoke after being so quiet.

"We have a joint mission with the Germans," Elaine answered.

"Wait! I'm sorry Charles." He received a glare from him, really wanting to go on the mission. Regis started arguing with Charles again while Athena rolled her eyes and walked away. Juliette snorted, following her Captain with Vanessa. And one by one, they left the recruits alone.

And Merlin, they almost killed one another if Chloe didn't step in and put them in time-out like children.

"Fucking idiots!" Athena whispered to Audrey, She continued to rant about the two recruits with her team laughing and adding to her hatred of the two. Well, Regis is not doing that bad but Charles, being fed the silver spoon, annoys the shit out of her. "I'm spoiled! But I was never like that!"

"At least you know that," Juliette snickered, pushing Athena into the floo network that was altered for Aurors whenever they had joint missions or training.

"Hallo! I'm Ada. Vice-Captain." A witch, waiting by the floo networks as they received looks from the employees of the German Ministry before their Minister himself greeted them. They shook hands with one another and Athena's team as they came together.

"Bonjour. Athena Ashryver, Captain."

"I thought it was Auclair."

"Only when we're in France. There are too many Ashrvyers."

"We thought there would be fourteen of you. I'm Leon Vogel, Captain."

"Vogel as in Anton Vogel?" Elliott asked while Athena questioned him with her look.

"Yes, he's my uncle."

"Two of mine are borrowed and the other two are grounded."

"Ah. Anyways, these are my team—" He introduced them to her team while Elaine introduced Athena since she got caught up with Vogel and the Minister. Juliette watched her niece as they settled over something.

"So? You asked for us. What's the point if you take in my ideas?"

The Minister scoffed while Athena just looked at him and Vogel stood in the middle, not taking sides. They both continue to argue with one another as Vogel looks for help. The Minister cursed at her in German which she rebutted in German. Elaine had to step in because Athena would have ripped his head off. Athena really wanted to say something to fuel the Minister's anger but Vanessa shut her up and graced his presence with her charms. Juliette whacked her head and scolded her.

"Don't be stupid." Knowing exactly what Athena was going to say, she raised her finger to stop anything coming out of her mouth. As said before, Athena is exactly like her sister, it's like working with her sister again. It's some weird ass deja vu.

"Why am I the bait?" Samuel asked as he fixed his collar.

"Because you're her type." Athena praised, pulling his arm down to put on a bracelet. Pasteur relaxed a bit and Athena patted his shoulders, nodding, telling him he got this. He apparated out and Athena followed but to a location close to keep watch.

Two countries because on top of Voldemort wanting the start to destroy the British Wizarding World, there are a few Dark Wizards that want to destroy the entire Wizarding World.

24 to catch two wizards.

"Bonjour Athena."

"What—" Athena was caught in an explosion, throwing her a kilometre down the road. She was so focused on keeping her team in check that she forgot about her own safety. Samuel watched his captain, in fear, get thrown before still waiting for a signal from anyone.

The building she was in, just exploded and she managed to make a barrier protecting herself and them but she wasn't sure if they had survived that.

Athena struggled to pick herself up as she watched a blurry figure walking towards her. Juliette was held back by Vanessa as Johnathan was by his sister. Their eyes widened slowly as metal pikes fell from the sky, pinning the Captain on the road, hearing her screams was not part of their plans. Elaine looked over to Vogel, waiting for an order but Gods, he had a metal pole through his stomach and his vice-captain was struggling to stop the bleeding.

"What the fuck is going on?" Ada whispered in German before shouting at her Aurors as Elaine ran to her, helping to heal their Captain. Before they know it, buildings crumbling down and Samuel tries to help Athena, only to get the attention of the witch they were after.

Pasteur was thrown into the buildings, making him trapped under the rubble.

One by one, without any idea what was going on, Aurors dispatched for the mission was taken out one by one.

The two wizards weren't even trying to kill them, just torture but they do want to kill Athena Ashryver.

They cackled as they watched Aurors lose consciousness and struggle against them, making Athena and Leon watch their team suffer. With all she could, Athena prioritised healing their teams rather than herself. Chaos ran through this wizarding city as everyone apparated or ran away from the destruction. Muggleborns' parents had the most fear because they had no magic to even defend themselves.

"Hello, Captains. I'm Stefan and this is Andrea but you already know us because well—you're hunting for us." She greeted as Stefan slowly removed the pikes from their bodies, loving their screams of pain.

Vogel collapsed while Ashryver got really pissed, summoning back her wand and apparated out.

"Really, Captain? Leaving your teammates behind! That's not honourable at all." Stefan shouted with the help of 'Sonorus' that it shook the grounds.

Athena hid in an alley, trying to fix herself, just enough to arrest the two and take care of her team. She shut her eyes, not letting her tears fall, searching for every Auror and praying that they were alive.

"Thena"—Juliette whispered, clutching her side, and raised her hands as Athena pointed her wand at her. Her vision is hazy and her ears are blocked, unable to hear anything properly. "It's Juls."

"There's a fucking mole."

"I realised that," Juliette groaned, sliding to sit beside her niece and struggling to find Vanessa. Athena let out a shaky breath, taking care of Juliette, ignoring the idea that her injuries were worse. Juliette pushed Athena away and tried to heal Athena first. "You are worst—and I can't find Vanessa."

"She's stuck under some rubble. Aunt Juls, find them."

"Athena—fuck. Your mother is going to kill me."

Athena cast fiendfyre at Andrea, knowing her fear of fires which made her apparate out. Leaving Stefan behind. Casting a circle of fire around Stefan and Leon, keeping Andrea out.

"My Merlin, that was incredibly hot," Stefan said to Leon, who was struggling to stay awake. Athena didn't spare a glance at the German Captain but Stefan knew that she wanted to take him out of this situation. "Oh my darling, it wouldn't be so easy."

"Don't."

"What? It is a pleasure to meet you, Athena Ashryver."

"The pleasure is mine—" Athena apparated behind Vogel and touched him, apparating out. Stefan only found that really cool, embarrassing for him, but really cool and knows that the expectations he had about Athena exceeded. "He's not doing good!"

Vogel fell to the ground with healers running to them. Athena cursed, speaking in French, panicking while the healers tried to understand. Mackenzie came running.

"What's that you? What the fuck are you doing in Germany."

"I should be asking you the same thing."

"Internship."

"Really becoming a healer eh Kenz?"

"Yeah and you, you're fucking bleeding everywhere."

Athena stood up, hiding her pain as she clenched her jaws and Mackenzie rushed to her while her superiors brought Vogel inside. A few ran to her but Mackenzie knew that look of her best friend. She's high on adrenaline.

"Athena, stay. Bitch, you're bleeding out."

"And let someone else be the hero? Big bloody no."

Athena smirked at her and apparated out, Mackenzie stood there helpless with her best friend before Juliette apparated in front of the hospital with Vanessa and Johnathan.

"Mackenzie?"

"Internship."

Juliette nodded, leaving those with the healers and apparated out to find the rest of their teams with Mackenzie shouting at her.

"Fucking Auclairs."

Juliette ran along the roofs, finding her people but civilians confused and terrified were screaming. She had to get them out. She froze after hearing another loud boom and absolute fear for her niece but a child crying kept her focus.

Elaine crawled out of one of the many rubbles, holding everything up for civilians trapped with her. A wall of roots blocked covered them from a blast, The Deputy looked around for her Captain and terrified doesn't describe enough how scared she is for Athena. Her entire body was covered in her own blood and yet she still cared for others. Another thought came to mind, her brother. Juliette appeared to her and helped.

"My brother!"

"He's at the hospital with Vanessa. I—" Juliette fell to her knees, catching her breath.

"We are all going home alive."

"Yes, Ma'am."

Elaine watched Juliette take two with her and Athena telling the enemy to pause for a second.

"You got this kid."

Stefan felt offended when Athena raised her finger, telling him to pause in the middle of his speech and also offended that Andrea just left him because of her fear of fires.

Athena raised a pile of rubble with roots, the moment she sensed Ada with several other people. She pressed on her wound which punctured her lung. Athena wheezed, lighting the way out by tapping the ground with her foot. Ada squinted at the sun's brightness, helping people and received a smile from the Captain.

"Worry about getting everyone out, then worry about me."

"Yes, Captain."

"You're taking others from a child?"

"No child can do that."

Athena harnesses the power of lighting from the gloomy skies. She played with lightning and grinned at Stefan, she was so proud of herself before directing the full force of lightning to Stefan who couldn't do anything but dodge it.

The Wizard looked at her with the scariest known to mankind as he and Athena had a little dance with lightning.

"Madam Ashryver seems like you have played with Ancient Magic."

"Didn't know you spoke French, Monsieur Kaiser."

Stefan hated his surname and Athena is triggering him to force his mistakes out, with the price of his magic absolutely difficult to fight against. She is pressing every button he has, still keeping a lookout for Andrea.

The Italian witch is nowhere to be seen but only Athena can sniff her out with her tracking charms.

As every single wizard helped one another to safety, more Aurors and Wizard Law Enforcers arrived, seeing the chaos and destruction that for some reason only the French Captain was capable of dealing with.

When they tried to jump in to help, Ada shouted and told them to find civilians and their own instead because getting in her way only meant more death and destruction.

"Fucking die already," Athena whispered, on the ground, in pain while Stefan laughed at her, also completely exhausted. He was immensely surprised by how much Athena could weaken him despite being heavily injured and worse than those who needed help. "Oh fuck."

Every single one watched in horror as they watched Andrea cast a dangerous fireball at Athena, dropping bomb after bomb, laughing. Her team stared at the ball of fire where their Captain might be dead but Juliette focused on getting people out because she could sense Athena's strengthened aura.

"She's fine, keep moving."

"That Ashryver bitch should be dead now."

"You are going to have to try harder than that Andrea." Athena scowled before laughing at their faces, cleaning her trousers and tossing the coat aside. "What? You think you have killed people this way, you're gonna kill me too?"

Andrea apparated to the roof when she felt the ground rumbling, close enough to an earthquake while Stefan stood his ground, still with a grin.

Roots erupted from the road, going after the two of them. Stefan lit them on fire as he dodged them while Andrea sliced, both losing Athena. As quiet as a snake creeping on its prey, Athena crept behind Andrea and Merlin, she shivered in fear, barely escaping at the last minute.

She screamed as Athena stared at her, lifelessness in her golden eyes with blood dripping down her face slowly and hands playing with fire.

"It's a shame I can't kill you."

Athena said, so menacingly that Andrea froze in her place swallowed by roots. Her screams were heard by Stefan and he looked in her direction to only find Athena floating in the dark sky.

Suddenly, the rain just poured when he locked eyes with the Ashryver.

His breathing wavered when she apparated out of the skies.

The Malicious Silver looked around frantically for what the Europeans were calling Athena, The Sacred.

Her magic is nothing like those in history, so beautiful and powerful that it shall not be underestimated.

That is what Stefan learned when he tasted a small percentage of her magic. He was dragged through the rubble, the dirt, the metals and fires by roots. When he tried to fight against them, it only grew more, wrapping around his legs and more, wrapping around his body, and more, engulfed him and the last thing he saw was a burning building to complete darkness.

His muffled screams were heard by no one.

His partner escaped from her chains and she charged at Athena. Being the smarter one of the two, she has been setting traps for Athena so she can make a run.

But her precious Nicolette Chastain, the best at keeping people in and out, created the biggest barrier of her career that no one could get in or out after their backup arrived.

"What? A little trouble?" Athena chaffed, watching Andrea panic. She slowly walked to the witch who slowly backed up from her with a smirk.

"You will have them."

A smoke screen blew up in Athena's face as she tried to apparate out but failed and went to the roofs again. As Andrea used the screen for an escape, Athena used it to her advantage after making sure that Stefan was still where he was.

Neither of them can escape after all that shit she went through.

"Don't try to run," Athena whispered in her ear and disappeared out of her sight. Ada's breath was caught in her throat, scanning everywhere for Athena but nothing, only wizards scrambling around. With her anger, she targeted Juliette Auclair which is a big no-no.

Athena stood in front of her aunt, protecting the group from the powerful fireballs, equal to the Chinese Fireball, a dragon with the most dangerous and powerful fireball and no one could match it except Andrea, with an equally powerful water wall.

It's ironic, that a witch who excels and uses magic related to fire has a fear of it.

In the witch's words, she's not afraid of her directing the fire.

Juliette took the time to try to heal her niece's deep cuts with other healers who had arrived on the scene. Athena is pumped with adrenaline and can't tell if she's in pain which is the most dangerous state an Auror can go through. They can die at any second without even realising that they are in pain.

"My dear niece, you are absolutely terrifying but extremely powerful at what you are doing."

"Thanks, Aunt Juls but can you help me with catching her? Take Bazin."

"Of course." Juliette winked, trying to forget her injuries and disappeared from her sight. Elliot Bazin is the best on her team with traps and ways to capture someone alive. She felt him being okay and saw him helping civilians so they knew that he was up for it, if not Athena wouldn't ask Juliette to agree.

Busy enough to be distracted by Athena, Andrea chuckled to herself, shooting fireball after fireball, unaware of the trap she was placed in by the young Captain.

"Hey bitch." Mackenzie apparated in, trusting Athena to hold on to them before her best friend fell onto her knee. "Don't let me become a roasted potato, I'm dark enough."

"I promise I won't." Athena chuckled, hiding her pain while Mackenzie took over with the healing with her mentor. Athena took a few deep breaths, focusing on her water wall because she is protecting a lot of healers and their patients.

Elliot waited for Juliette's signal as they witnessed the fiery works of Andrea. Juliette was trying to find the moment when Andrea was enjoying torturing Athena because that is when she is the least focused on her surroundings.

With her transfiguration skills and vast knowledge of spells and charms, she worked around Elliot's magic with some German Aurors, ready to jump in. Bricks slowly and silently crept toward Andrea, making it not visible to the peripheral view.

Within seconds, Andrea went from enjoying her fun to screaming in fear as Juliette played tricks on her with Elliot and the other Aurors jumping in to capture the witch.

A minute longer, Athena would have been burned to crisps along with everyone behind her.

A lot of people cheered as the two of the most dangerous wizards were finally captured after years of chasing by the German and French Ministries. But Aurors ran to Athena, watching her slowly collapsing after hours of being terrorised by the two wizards.

"My Gods, the adrenaline is gone. I was in this much pain?" Athena continued to ramble through her pain, slowly the noise around her faded out as her vision darkened.

Mackenzie caught Athena in her arms, hearing her wheezing was the worst thought that become true.

"Little one."

A whisper was heard in the darkness.

Athena woke up in sweats, Juliette was there to hold her hand, with her team, asleep on the couch, the floor and chairs, in the hospital room.

"My dear niece," Juliette whispered, kissing the back of Athena's hand as she wiped the strands of hair stuck to her sticky forehead. Juliette knows a little about what is going on in her niece's head because she suffers it too but her niece is being hunted even more by him. "What do you need?"

"An iced cold cup of tea."

Juliette softly chuckled into her hand and requested it from one of the healers who entered the room, also having to navigate the limbs laid around.

"Has anyone told our family?"

"I did but specifically told them not to come for their safety."

"That's smart."

Juliette wondered if she could make Athena feel any better but the solutions don't seem such good ones at this point. They can't have Fleur because of her work and safety. Atlas is on a mission as well as Damon. Camille is too busy with relations, basically, the entire family is too far away or involved in something too important to leave.

Which of course they understand.

Mackenzie walked into the room, with iced tea, laughing at the Aurors that were just sleeping anywhere as they could fall asleep.

"Oh, it's my favourite healer."

"Well, I'm honoured Captain Ashryver."

"When can I go back to my own room? It's too loud here."

"It really is," Juliette added, massaging her head a little.

"Tomorrow because you will not be able to handle any type of transportation."

"Are you sure? You're just an intern."

Mackenzie wanted to rebut so bad but her mentor just walked in. She poked the inside of her cheek with her tongue, glaring at Athena.

"My intern is right and I will send her with you, for a week."

"Really?" Both of them asked, really excited if it was true.

"Really and Captain, you are prohibited to do anything vigorous, meaning: no lifting heavy stuff, no drinking, no strenuous exercises, no pushing your body to the limit and no sex."

"No sex?"

"No sex. Well, no weird positions, no thrusting or the other way round so boring sex."

"Madam Lise you are one kinky woman," Juliette commented while the healer shrugged with a smile Athena gave her a sad face and puppy eyes but Mackenzie and her mentor shook their heads. The Bennett was slightly relieved to hear that Athena would not be having those bountiful sex with her wife.

"These are some medications for you, Captain, and spend the rest of the night sleeping and we will send you off!"
