March 21, 2018. | Third Person POV.
Los Angeles, California.

What I can say is pull out a good chair, some popcorn, and a glass of wine or water 'cause babyyyyy shit will be going down. I also recommend playing the song up above. shout out to D'Angelo. *

Sedona awoke to the soft scent of lilies mingling with the cool spring air drifting through her slightly cracked bedroom window. The warmth of the morning sun filtered through her curtains, but what truly stole her attention were the flowers—countless arrangements in shades of pink, white, and yellow scattered around her bedroom. Her breath caught, eyes widening as she took in the sheer number of bouquets, each more extravagant than the last. Her smile widened as she noticed a trail of lilies leading to the stairs. She quickly slipped out of bed, wrapped herself in a silk robe, and followed the fragrant path.

Her heart raced with anticipation, a giddy warmth spreading through her as she descended each step. At the foot of the stairs, a sleek black box with silver trim awaited her. The bouquet of lilies next to it had a small envelope tucked inside. Opening it, she read the message:

"Happy birthday, baby. Enjoy your day. Love, Kendrick."

Her cheeks flushed as she gently traced over the words. She couldn't help but smile, her chest tightening at how effortlessly Kendrick knew how to make her feel special. Opening the box revealed an exquisite diamond-encrusted silver necklace—it glistened under the morning light. Sedona beamed, clasping the necklace around her neck and snapping a picture to send to Kendrick. "This is perfect. Thank you, love," She typed, adding a string of heart emojis.

As Sedona admired the necklace in the mirror near the foyer, she couldn't fight the giddy laugh bubbling in her throat. Today was her day. And Kendrick—thoughtful, smooth, perfect-ass Kendrick—had already set the tone.

Still clutching the note, she swayed slightly on her feet, a mix of excitement and nervous anticipation creeping up her spine. She knew Kendrick. Knew how he moved. If this was how she was waking up, she could only imagine what else he had in store.

Her phone buzzed in her palm, breaking her thoughts.

Kenny 🤭
Glad you like it. That's just the start, baby.

Her stomach flipped. The start?

She chewed on her bottom lip, staring at the message like it held the secrets to the rest of her day. A deep breath. A steadying one.

She had no idea what was coming next, but one thing was for sure—Kendrick was about to outdo himself.

Eventually after doing her basic necessities, Sedona found herself admiring her reflection in the mirror, specifically the necklace she had placed around her neck just to see how it looked on her. As her fingers grazed over it, the sharp honking of a car echoed through the street outside. Her head snapped toward the window, and she grinned when she spotted none other than Jasmine, SZA, Solange, and Amanda in a sleek white BMW, waving at her from the open windows.

Grabbing her bag, she hurried out the door, the cool breeze brushing against her skin. As she approached the car, she noticed Amanda wasn't in the front seat like she usually was. Brow furrowing, she slid into the back next to SZA and immediately asked, "Where's Monica?"

SZA barely missed a beat, casually shrugging as she scrolled through her phone. "Family thing. Didn't she tell you?"

Sedona tilted her head, momentarily confused. Monica always told her everything. But before she could dwell on it, Solange tossed her an iced matcha, Jasmine complimented her necklace, and just like that, she let it go—completely oblivious to the fact that Monica wasn't with family at all. She was helping Kendrick set his grand plan into motion.

Still, Sedona couldn't shake the anticipation brewing inside her. She took a sip of her drink, exhaling softly. "I don't even know what he's got under his sleeves," She admitted, tucking her legs beneath her as the car sped through the city.

They all shared a knowing look. With a smile, Jasmine assured her, "Whatever it is, it must be good."

The rest of the day flew by in a blur of laughter, pampering, and quality time with her closest girlfriends. At the spa, Sedona melted under the soothing massages, her mind blissfully at ease. They sipped freshly squeezed juice in plush robes, the air filled with the soft hum of R&B and the occasional outburst of laughter.

Later, as they browsed high-end boutiques, Sedona couldn't help but gush about Kendrick. "Y'all, he's just so good to me," She said, grinning as she held up a sequined dress for consideration.

SZA chuckled knowingly. "That's what love will do to you. I'm just glad you found someone who can keep up with you."

Sedona laughed, placing the dress back on the rack. "I know, right? Sometimes I wonder how he manages. But then, he surprises me... like today." Her fingers instinctively grazed her neck, her eyes softening. "It's crazy how he pays attention to the smallest details. Like he genuinely listens to everything I say... and even what I don't."

Jasmine teased, "Girl, he's got it bad. You must have him wrapped around your finger."

Sedona shook her head, a playful smile dancing on her lips. "I mean... yeah. But, if only y'all knew... he's the one who's got me wrapped up."

The group continued their shopping spree, with Sedona eventually picking out the perfect outfit for her party: it was nothing short of bold and effortlessly sexy. She stepped out in a statement look that exuded sultry confidence and effortless glamour. She wore a sleek, deep navy latex gown that hugged every curve like a second skin, featuring a daring plunging neckline that dipped to her waist. The glossy material gleamed under the lights, pooling at her feet in a dramatic finish. A delicate, silver body chain draped down the center of her chest, accentuating the bare expanse of skin and adding a touch of sparkle to the already mesmerizing ensemble.

Her makeup was just as striking—eyes adorned with a shimmering navy blue shadow that blended seamlessly into a soft smoky finish, framed by long, voluminous lashes. A precise winged liner enhanced her gaze, while her full lips glistened with a glossy, nude brown hue. Her nose ring added an extra edge, complementing her effortlessly undone, voluminous curls that cascaded down her shoulders.

The whole look was bold, sensual, and undeniably Sedona—commanding attention without needing to say a word. She felt like she could take over the whole world if needed.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, she felt her excitement double. She still had no clue what Kendrick had planned, but if the way the day had started was any indication, she was in for something unforgettable.

And damn... she couldn't wait.

Sedona arrived home with her arms weighed down by shopping bags, but the moment she stepped inside, all thoughts of new outfits and luxury finds faded. Her breath hitched as she was greeted by even more flowers—lavish arrangements spilling across her entryway, their scent thick and intoxicating.

But what truly caught her attention was the trail of petals leading further inside.

Her heart pounded as she set her bags down, her fingers grazing the diamond necklace Kendrick had gifted her earlier. She followed the floral path, each step making her anticipation grow until she reached the living room. And there he was.

Kendrick stood at the end of the trail, looking effortlessly good—a designer black tee stretching across his chest, chains gleaming under the soft light, and his cornrows freshly done. But even with how good he looked, his eyes were locked on her as if she was the only thing that mattered.

"You really went all out," She said, a grin pulling at her lips as she walked up to him.

He chuckled, his hands slipping around her waist to pull her close. "Only for you, birthday girl."

She kissed him, slow and sweet, letting the warmth of his presence wrap around her like a familiar melody. When she pulled away, his eyes lingered on her, drinking her in with that knowing look—the one that told her he was committing every inch of her to memory. The soft glow of the room kissed her skin, highlighting the way the deep navy of her gown clung to every curve like it had been sculpted just for her.

"Lemme see something," He murmured, voice thick with admiration. He took a step back, just enough to get a full view. "Spin for me."

Sedona smirked, knowing exactly what he was doing, but humored him anyway. She turned slowly, a deliberate, teasing 360, the latex catching the light with every shift of her hips. The fabric moved with her, molding to her body like a second skin, accentuating the effortless sensuality in her posture. The silver body chain sparkled down her chest, drawing his eyes lower, and the scent of her warm, sultry perfume wrapped around him like a vice.

When she faced him again, he was already biting his lip, shaking his head like he had to physically restrain himself. His gaze roamed, slow and possessive, taking his time like he was admiring a masterpiece.

"You just gone keep getting finer, huh?" His voice was hushed, almost like he was talking to himself, struggling to process just how damn good she looked.

Sedona rolled her eyes, laughing as she nudged him. "Boy, shut up."

But she felt it—the weight of his stare, the heat in his expression. She wasn't just sexy. She was crafted by the gods themselves, and Kendrick was a man completely, undeniably lost in her.

But even as she said it, her stomach flipped in anticipation. Because this was Kendrick, and if the look in his eyes was any indication, he had something big planned.

They headed outside, where his car was already parked and waiting. He opened the door for her, his hand resting on the small of her back as she slid into the seat. Once they were both inside, he turned the key, the engine purring to life.

"So, what's next?" She asked, glancing at him with excitement bubbling beneath her skin.

He shot her a knowing smirk, gripping the wheel with one hand. "You'll see."

"That's all you got for me?" She teased, narrowing her eyes.

"That's all you need," He corrected, his voice rich with amusement.

And that was the thing about Kendrick. He could be frustratingly vague, but she knew whatever he had planned would be worth the wait.

The ride was smooth, the city lights blending into a blur as they made their way to a part of town she wasn't entirely familiar with. Her anticipation mounted as they pulled up to a large venue—one that looked both grand and intimate, the kind of place that whispered exclusivity.

Before she could take in the full extent of where they were, Kendrick was already out of the car, moving to her side. When he opened her door, she stepped out, feeling the warmth of his hand wrap around hers.

Then, before she could ask another question, he pulled out a silk blindfold.

Sedona raised a brow. "Seriously?"

Kendrick smirked. "Seriously."

She exhaled, shaking her head, but let him tie the soft fabric over her eyes. Darkness engulfed her senses, and all she had to rely on was his voice and the way he guided her forward.

"Trust me?" He murmured.

She swallowed, nodding. "Always. But keep in mind that I got heels on."

"Then follow me."

The air felt heavier with anticipation as she walked beside him, her heels clicking softly against the ground. Everything was quiet—eerily so, making her all the more aware of Kendrick's steady presence beside her.

"Kendrick," She whispered, her voice barely above a breath.

He didn't answer right away. Instead, he came to a stop, his hands lightly resting on her shoulders.

As the silk blindfold slipped away, Sedona's eyes took a moment to adjust to the warm, golden glow of the lights. And what Sedona saw made her heart stop. And then—

"SURPRISE!"

A chorus of voices erupted all at once, filling the space with an energy so loud and full of love that Sedona's heart nearly stopped all over again. Her mouth fell open as she took it all in—the sleek, intimate venue transformed into the ultimate birthday celebration.

Balloons and floral arrangements were perfectly placed around the room, the ceiling draped in soft golden lights. A massive banner hung near the bar reading "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEDONA" in elegant script. The scent of her favorite vanilla and sandalwood candles filled the air and the soft hum of classic '90s R&B played through the speakers.

But what made her heart swell the most? Everyone was here.

Solange and SZA stood near the bar, already holding up their glasses in cheers. Jay Rock, Q, and Ab-Soul were off to the side, laughing at something Dave had just said. Tyler, and a few of the Odd Future crew were huddled near the DJ booth, talking animatedly with Amanda and Jasmine. And Monica, always looking out, was standing just a few feet away, watching Sedona's reaction with a knowing smirk.

Sedona turned to Kendrick, still speechless. He was watching her closely, a small smirk tugging at his lips.

"You—" She started, shaking her head in disbelief. "You did this?"

Kendrick's fingers brushed her waist as he leaned in, voice low and smooth. "You really thought I wasn't gon' do something big for my girl?"

Her breath caught, heat rising to her cheeks. She wanted to respond, but before she could, Solange and SZA pulled her into a hug, both of them squealing in excitement.

"Happy birthday, D!" Solange grinned. "You know we had to turn up for you!"

SZA pulled back slightly, giving her a knowing look. "And before you ask—nah, Monica wasn't at no 'family thing.' She's been helping put this all together."

Sedona gasped, looking over at Monica, who only shrugged, barely containing her own smirk.

"You little liar," Sedona laughed, playfully shoving her.

Monica grinned. "Had to. It was for a good cause."

Sedona exhaled, still trying to wrap her head around everything. She turned back to Kendrick, the sheer effort he had put into this making her chest ache in the best way possible.

"This is—wow," She muttered, eyes locked onto his.

Kendrick chuckled, leaning in just enough for only her to hear. "Oh, we just gettin' started, baby."

Before she could press him further, the DJ suddenly cut the music, and Tyler's voice rang through the mic.

"Ay, yo! Before this party officially gets wild, I think the birthday girl gotta say something."

The crowd hyped her up immediately, cheers and applause echoing through the venue.

Sedona let out a breath, still overwhelmed, but when she looked out at the people in the room—her people—she knew exactly what to say.

She took a step forward, Kendrick's warm hand resting on her lower back as she reached for the mic.

"Y'all are crazy," She laughed, shaking her head. "I really thought today was just gonna be some chill spa day with the girls, but clearly..." She gestured around, eyes shimmering with emotion. "Y'all had other plans."

The crowd laughed, some whistling and clapping.

"But for real—thank you. All of you. This past year has been... crazy in so many ways. But to have people like y'all in my corner? That's the biggest blessing. I love y'all. For real, for real."

A chorus of "We love you, D!" rang out, and before she could get too sentimental, Kendrick smoothly took the mic from her hand.

"A'ight, a'ight, that was cute," He said, earning a round of laughter. "But I ain't done yet."

Sedona's brows furrowed. "Huh?"

Kendrick didn't answer. Instead, he nodded toward the DJ, who smirked before hitting play.

The opening chords of "So Anxious" by Ginuwine spilled through the speakers, and suddenly, all eyes were on Kendrick as he stepped back, smirking at Sedona.

The crowd lost it.

"Ohhh, nahhh!" SZA cackled. "You not about to do what I think you about to do!"

"He's doing it!" Jasmine screeched.

Sedona's hands flew to her mouth as Kendrick rolled his shoulders back and—without warning—started serenading her, full-on performance mode.

She died.

Between the way he was moving and the absolute confidence he had as he sang, it was too much. She was cry-laughing, hands on her knees, while everyone else egged him on.

But then—he grabbed her hand.

"Kendrick—" She started, but it was useless. He was already pulling her close, still singing, and before she knew it, she was swaying with him, his lips dangerously close to her ear as he whispered,

"Happy birthday, baby."

And just like that, the night was only beginning.

The lights dimmed slightly, and the decadent three-tier cake was rolled toward the center of the room. Sedona squeezed Kendrick's hand, warmth spreading through her chest as she took in the sight of it. Candles flickered atop it, casting a warm glow on Sedona's face as the room erupted into an off-key but heartfelt rendition of Happy Birthday. The tiers were coated in smooth buttercream, intricate gold accents shimmering under the soft lighting. The words "You're officially 28!" were written in elegant script on the top, and she couldn't help but smile.

The room was filled with anticipation as everyone waited for her to blow out the candles. Looking around at all the familiar faces—her closest friends, her day ones, and of course, him—Sedona felt a wave of gratitude wash over her.

She turned to Kendrick, her voice barely above a whisper. "You really did all this for me?"

Kendrick smirked, his thumb running over the back of her hand. "You deserve all this and more, baby."

Biting her lip, she turned back to the cake, inhaling deeply before blowing out the candles. The room erupted into cheers, applause, and a few playful shouts of "Make a wish!"

After a moment of playful teasing from Solange and SZA, Sedona finally stepped forward, microphone in hand. She took a deep breath, her fingers still interlocked with Kendrick's as she faced everyone.

"Okay, okay," She laughed, running a hand through her hair. "I know I already said something earlier, but... for real, this means everything to me."

Her voice softened, sincerity dripping from every word.

"Y'all know I keep my circle tight, and to see every single one of you here, celebrating me, taking time out of your lives to make this happen... It's crazy. I feel so blessed. So loved. And I just—I love y'all."

A chorus of "We love you too!" echoed through the venue, and Sedona wiped away the single tear threatening to fall.

"And to you..." She turned, her gaze locking onto Kendrick's, her grip on his hand tightening. "You stay showing up for me. In ways, I don't even have to ask for. You listen, you see me, and you love me in a way that just feels so effortless."

A collective aww rippled through the room.

Sedona exhaled, her free hand resting on Kendrick's chest as she stared at him. "I don't know what I did to deserve you, but... I'm grateful every single day."

Kendrick, never one for long-winded speeches, simply smirked, leaned in, and pressed a lingering kiss against her forehead.

"I got you, baby," He murmured against her skin.

The moment was thick with emotion, but before things got too sentimental, Tyler's voice rang out through the speakers.

"Ayo, that was cute as hell, but can we turn up now?!"

Laughter and cheers filled the air, and just like that—the party really began.

Sedona kicked off her heels, a wicked grin spreading across her lips. "Now we're talking."

With Kendrick's arm wrapped around her waist, the music blasted through the speakers, bass vibrating through the floor as the crowd came alive.

Jay Rock and Q were already talking about running a dominoes table, while Dave and Ab-Soul argued over who was picking the next track.

Jasmine dragged her straight to the dance floor, where Solange, SZA, and Amanda were already moving to the beat of Aaliyah's More Than a Woman.

And Sedona?

She let go of everything—expectations, stress, the weight of the past year—and just lived. Kicked off her heels, ready to let loose.

The music was loud, the drinks flowed freely, and Sedona was in her element. She honored her yearly tradition, taking exactly two shots with her girls. The smooth burn of tequila coated her throat as she slammed the glass down, her laugh echoing through the venue when Monica hyped her up, saying, "You're the birthday girl—you gotta show out!"

And show out she did.

When the DJ spun the record to Waka Flocka Flame's No Hands, Sedona lost all composure—in the best way possible. "Hold my hair!" She shouted, tossing her extensions over her shoulder as Jasmine grabbed them.

The second she hit the dance floor, it was over. She dropped low, her latex dress hugging every curve like a second skin, the deep V of the neckline threatening to betray her. So, with one hand bracing her left breast—because the last thing she needed was a wardrobe malfunction—she threw it back with flawless precision.

The crowd erupted.

A circle formed around her, cheers bouncing off the walls as she sent a wink to her girls hyping her up. Then, as if to remind everyone exactly who the fuck she was, she grabbed a bottle of Don Julio from Tyler, placed it on her head, and kept twerking.

"Kendrick, look at this shit!" Amanda screamed, clutching onto SZA as they lost their minds watching her.

Kendrick leaned against the bar, sipping his drink, grinning like he had all the time in the world. His girl was out there, stealing the show, moving like the music was stitched into her bones. And he was enjoying every second of it.

A guy next to him smirked, shaking his head. "You really be letting her do all that?"

Kendrick turned to him, his tone cool but firm. "Yeah, I do. She's a grown-ass woman, and who am I to control her? Besides, she looks good doing it."

The guy chuckled, nodding in agreement. Kendrick didn't look away from Sedona, admiration evident in his eyes. She was radiant, confident, and completely unapologetic. She was sexy in every sense of the word—looked sexy, smelled sexy, was sexy. And she was his.

The energy in the room was electric, the bass vibrating through the floor as Sedona completely owned the moment. The tequila burned warm in her veins, but the real high came from the love surrounding her—from her girls hyping her up to the cheers from the crowd.

Jasmine let go of her hair just as Sedona spun around, still balancing the bottle like she was born to do this. Amanda and SZA were screaming, "Go best friend!" at the top of their lungs while Tyler had his phone up, recording everything.

"Nah, this is legendary," He laughed. "Fuck it up, Dony."

The DJ smoothly transitioned into Back That Azz Up, and Sedona strutted off the dance floor, her body still moving to the beat as she made a beeline straight for Kendrick.

He was still leaning against the bar, his drink in hand, watching her with that signature smirk.

"You just gonna stand there looking all fine and smug?" She teased, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Kendrick chuckled, setting his glass down. "I like the view from here," He murmured, his hands gripping her waist as she swayed against him. The latex was smooth under his palms, and her body was warm—flushed from the liquor, the lights, and the energy coursing through the room.

"Mmm, that so?" Sedona hummed, arching a brow.

He leaned in, his lips grazing her ear. "You having fun?"

She grinned, tilting her head back to meet his gaze. "More than I can even put into words. But, I do have one question..."

Kendrick raised a brow, waiting.

Sedona twirled a strand of hair around her finger, her voice laced with playful suspicion. "What else do you have planned? Because I know this isn't the end of it."

Kendrick smirked, brushing a knuckle down her jawline. "You really think I'd give it all away that easy?"

Her heart skipped, a mix of excitement and curiosity bubbling inside her. "Kendrick," She dragged out his name, nudging his chest.

He simply chuckled, shaking his head. "Just enjoy the night, baby. You'll find out soon enough."

The anticipation sent a thrill through her, but for now, she let it be. She had everything she needed—her people, her music, her man.

The night was far from over.

The night continued on successfully. People were still dancing, laughing, and pouring up drinks, but Kendrick had something else planned—something just for Sedona.

She had barely taken another sip of her cocktail before he was at her side, his hand resting at the small of her back. "Come with me," He murmured against her ear, his voice sending a shiver down her spine.

Sedona raised an eyebrow but didn't question it. She set her drink down and let Kendrick guide her toward a side entrance of the venue, away from the crowd. As soon as they stepped outside, the cool night air wrapped around her, a stark contrast to the warmth she felt under Kendrick's touch.

"What are you up to?" She asked, a teasing lilt in her voice.

"Alright,"  He said, pulling something from his pocket. "I been waiting all night to give you this."

Sedona raised a brow, anticipation creeping up her spine. "What is it?"

Kendrick didn't answer immediately. Instead, he stepped closer, his fingers carefully unfolding a small, velvet box. When he flipped it open, a delicate gold locket shimmered under the dim outdoor lighting. The moment Sedona's eyes landed on it, her breath hitched.

She reached for it slowly, almost afraid it would disappear if she moved too fast. "No way..." She murmured, fingers grazing the cool metal before carefully prying it open.

Inside was a tiny, slightly faded picture—one she hadn't seen in years. Her and her father, when she was about five, her tiny arms wrapped around his neck, her grin missing a front tooth while he smiled down at her, full of love.

Sedona's throat tightened, her vision slightly blurred as she blinked a few times, forcing herself to keep it together. She ran her thumb over the picture, taking a slow breath before looking up at Kendrick. "How... how did you even find this?"

He exhaled deeply, rubbing the back of his neck. "Did some digging. Asked around. It wasn't easy, but I knew how much it meant to you."

Her lips parted, but for once, words failed her. The weight of the moment settled between them, thick with emotions she wasn't used to showing so openly. She wasn't going to cry—she wouldn't—but the warmth in her chest made her eyes glassy.

Instead, she stepped forward, wrapping her arms around Kendrick's neck and holding him close. "Thank you," She whispered against his skin. "This is the best gift I could've ever gotten."

He kissed the side of her head, his grip tightening around her waist. "Anything for you, baby."

She pulled back slightly, her fingers curling around the locket as she looked at him with something deeper than gratitude—something unspoken, but understood. And as the party continued behind them, for a moment, it was just the two of them, standing under the night sky, wrapped in a love that didn't need words to be felt.

Sedona let out a shaky breath, still running her fingers over the locket as if making sure it was real. The fact that Kendrick had tracked it down—something she had spent years searching for—made her chest tighten all over again.

"I can't believe you found it," She whispered, voice thick with emotion. "How did you even."

Kendrick took the locket from her hands, stepping behind her. "Yeah, well... I got lucky." His fingers brushed against the nape of her neck as he undid the clasp. "Found it at a pawn shop, crazy enough. I bought it soon as I saw it. Figured it'd be the perfect gift."

Sedona swallowed hard, blinking up at the sky. "It is."

He carefully placed the locket around her neck, fastening it with ease before letting his hands settle on her shoulders. "Had to get it fixed up, though," He murmured. "The chain was worn out, a diamond was missing, and there were some dents. Got all that taken care of."

Sedona reached up, her fingertips grazing the cool metal as it rested against her collarbone. "You even got the diamond replaced?"

Kendrick leaned down, his lips brushing against her ear. "Of course, baby. Had to make sure it was just like how you remembered it."

Sedona turned around, her hands immediately resting against his chest. "You really did this... just because I mentioned how heartbroken I was when it got stolen?"

Kendrick tilted his head, his gaze soft but steady. "That's all I needed to hear."

She exhaled sharply, pressing her forehead against his. "You're ridiculous," She whispered, a small, disbelieving laugh escaping her lips.

He smirked, his hands trailing down to her waist. "Yeah? But you love me for it."

"I do," She admitted without hesitation, fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt. "I really do."

Kendrick pressed a soft kiss to her lips—slow, unhurried, like he wanted to savor the moment. When they pulled away, Sedona let her hand rest over the locket, feeling the weight of it against her skin. With a smile, she goes in for another kiss.

For the first time in years, she felt like a missing piece of her had been returned.

Sedona pulled back, smirking as she caught sight of the faint lipstick stains on Kendrick's jawline. Instead of wiping them away, she grabbed his face with both hands and pressed another lingering kiss to his cheek.

"Now everybody's gonna know who you belong to," She teased, her voice low and sultry.

Kendrick chuckled, gripping her waist and pulling her in for one last peck before they headed back inside. "Oh yeah? You tryna mark your territory?"

She shrugged, eyes twinkling with mischief. "Maybe."

As they reentered the venue, the music was still blaring, and their friends were still deep in the chaos of the party. The second Kendrick stepped away to grab a drink (water), he was immediately met with his boys—Jay, Q, Ab-Soul, and Dave—who wasted no time hyping him up.

"Damn, nigga," Q laughed, nodding at the lipstick stains. "Sedona got you out here lookin' like a lovesick teenager."

Dave whistled, shaking his head. "You ain't even try to wipe that shit off?"

Kendrick just smirked, taking a slow sip of his drink. "Why would I?"

Ab-Soul clapped him on the shoulder, shaking his head. "Man, this dude is gone. Sedona really got him in a chokehold."

Jay chuckled, dapping Kendrick up. "Nah, he just know what he got. Respect."

Kendrick let their jokes roll off him, his gaze naturally drifting back toward Sedona, who was already back with her girls, laughing and dancing without a care in the world. His world.

He grinned, rubbing a hand over his jaw, feeling the imprint of her kisses still there. "Yeah... y'all wouldn't understand."

And with that, he walked off to find his girl again, because no matter how much fun the night was, being with her was the best part.

The night carried on in full swing, and Sedona was undeniably the life of the party. Her energy was contagious, her laughter echoing above the music as she danced with abandon.

Then, as if the night couldn't get any better, the DJ made the ultimate transition. The opening chords of Sean Paul's I'm Still in Love with You began to play, and the energy in the room shifted.

Sedona froze mid-sway, her eyes lighting up. "No. Way!" She exclaimed, practically bouncing with excitement. She turned on her heel, locking eyes with Kendrick. "C'mon," She said, grabbing his hand.

He raised an eyebrow, chuckling as she tugged him toward the dance floor. "You're not letting me stay lowkey tonight, huh?"

"Not a chance," She shot back, her hand tightening around his. "This is our song now."

Their bodies moved in sync, swaying effortlessly to the reggae beat. Sedona's back pressed against Kendrick's chest, his arms wrapped securely around her waist. She sang along, her voice warm and melodic as she mouthed the words, "I'm still in love with you, boy."

Kendrick's grip tightened, his lips brushing against her ear as he murmured, "You're trouble, you know that?"

"You love it," She teased, grinding against him as she tilted her head back.

His eyes darkened, his jaw clenching. "I do."

As the song faded into the next track, Sedona turned to face everyone, slightly breathless but still glowing with excitement. She took a moment to soak in the sight before her—the people she loved most, all gathered in one place just for her.

Her heart swelled.

"Y'all," She started, her voice warm yet firm enough to command attention. "I just wanna say... this has been the best birthday I've had in a long time. Like, for real. I feel so loved, so appreciated, and just... happy." She exhaled, shaking her head in disbelief before glancing at Kendrick. "And I gotta give a special thank you to my man, because I know he went out of his way to make sure tonight was perfect."

The crowd responded with cheers and playful whistles, and Kendrick, ever the lowkey type, just smirked and pulled her closer.

Sedona chuckled, shaking her head. "I love y'all. Thank you for making tonight unforgettable." She blew a kiss to the room before Kendrick leaned in, murmuring just for her, "Ready to get outta here?"

She nodded, slipping her hand into his as he guided her toward the exit.

Their friends on the other hand exchanged glances, amused smirks spreading across their faces.

Jasmine crossed her arms, watching them leave before leaning in toward SZA and Solange. "Girl, that three-month rule is about to be broken," She whispered with a laugh.

SZA snorted, shaking her head. "It's already hanging by a thread."

Solange smirked, sipping her drink. "She lasted longer than I thought."

Before they could speculate any further, Q appeared, wrapping an arm around Jasmine's waist. "Ayo, mind your business," He teased, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "Let them do them."

Jasmine just laughed, leaning into him as the rest of the group shared knowing looks. They all knew what was up—Sedona and Kendrick were on borrowed time when it came to that rule. And tonight? It was looking real close to expiration.

The cool night air hit her skin the second they stepped outside, but the warmth of Kendrick's presence made her barely notice. He walked slightly ahead, his hand firmly placed on the small of her back, instinctively shielding her from the outside world.

The more she looked at him, the more she wanted him.

Kendrick unlocked his car and opened the door for her, but Sedona hesitated, her eyes drinking him in. The confidence in his stride, the way his chains glinted under the streetlights, the knowing smirk tugging at his lips like he could feel her gaze on him.

She was high on life right now—on him.

Kendrick arched an eyebrow, catching her lingering stare. "What?"

Sedona bit her lip, stepping toward him until their bodies were nearly flush. She trailed a hand up his chest, her fingers grazing over the fabric of his shirt.

"Nothing," She said, voice soft but filled with intent. "Everything's perfect, baby."

Kendrick's eyes flickered with amusement and something darker. "You sure?"

She just smiled, leaning in until her lips were at his ear. "Just drive, Kenny."

With a low chuckle, he guided her into the passenger seat before rounding the car, his movements smooth but urgent.

Yeah. It was gonna be a long night.

By the time they were in Kendrick's car, the night air was heavy with anticipation. Sedona was a bit tipsy, her inhibitions long gone. She leaned over, her hand tracing small circles on Kendrick's thigh as he navigated the road. "You look so good tonight..." She purred, her voice low and sultry. "And smell so good."

He shot her a sideways glance, a smirk tugging at his lips. "You've had a little too much tonight."

She shrugged, her fingers traveling higher. "Maybe. Or maybe you just make me feel some type of way."

They stopped at a red light, and Sedona seized the opportunity. Leaning in, her lips grazed his ear as she whispered something that made his grip tighten on the steering wheel. His knuckles turned white, his chest rising sharply as he sucked in a breath.

His eyes stayed fixed on the light, his jaw clenched, but his body language said it all. The way his muscles tensed, the way his foot twitched over the gas pedal... she had him on edge. The three-month rule had felt like a good idea at first, a way to build something deeper, more meaningful. But right now? That rule was hanging by a thread.

The light turned green, and Kendrick let out a shaky breath, muttering under his breath, "You play too much."

Sedona only grinned, her fingers trailing down his chest. "Shit ain't a game."

His eyes flicked to her, his resolve visibly crumbling. "Sedona..."

Sedona's gaze was fixed on him, her eyes holding a certain dewy tint that made Kendrick's grip on the steering wheel tighten. She looked him over slowly, deliberately, her eyes tracing every line and curve, lingering on his broad shoulders and drifting down to the glint of his chain resting against his chest. He looked good tonight—real good.

She leaned in closer, her fingers softly caressing his jaw, her thumb brushing over his bottom lip. Her touch was gentle, featherlight, but the intent behind it was anything but innocent. Her eyes flicked down to the chain again, and her breath hitched, a dangerous thought crossing her mind. All she could think about was how that chain would look splashed across her lower back, cold metal pressing against her heated skin.

Kendrick's jaw clenched, his eyes fixed on the road, refusing to look at her. He knew if he did, there'd be no coming back from it. His voice came out strained, rough around the edges. "What you on?"

Sedona didn't miss a beat. Her lips curled into a sly smile as she whispered, "You."

Her voice was different, lighter, a bit raspier. It sent a shiver down his spine. He could hear the hunger in her tone, the unspoken promise laced between those three letters.

But then she sat back in her seat, legs crossed, looking entirely too pleased with herself. A knowing smirk tugged at her lips as she traced slow, idle patterns on his thigh, her touch featherlight but deliberate.

"Kendrick," She drawled sweetly, like she hadn't just shattered every ounce of restraint he had left. "You good?"

His jaw flexed. "Sedona." His voice was low, strained. "Keep playin'."

She giggled, tilting her head to the side. "I'm just sitting here, minding my business."

Kendrick cut her a sharp side-eye, finally pressing down on the gas with more force than necessary. The engine roared as they sped through the streets, tension thick enough to cut with a knife.

Sedona loved this game—pushing him just to see how far she could take it. But tonight, she was pushing herself too. The three-month rule had been her idea, a way to make sure what they had was built on more than just physical attraction. And it was. Kendrick had proven himself in ways she never even thought to ask for. But right now, sitting beside him with the city lights reflecting off his skin, his hands gripping the wheel like he was fighting demons—she wasn't sure how much longer she could hold out either.

His chest tightened, his knuckles turning white as he gripped the wheel even harder. "You know what you're doing right now?"

Sedona's fingers continued their slow exploration, trailing down his jaw to his neck, her nails lightly grazing his skin. Her eyes were locked on him, watching every subtle shift in his expression, every muscle that tensed under her touch. "I know exactly what I'm doing."

A low growl rumbled in Kendrick's chest, his composure slipping. "You playin' with fire."

She leaned in, her lips just a breath away from his ear as she murmured, "I don't mind the heat."

His foot twitched on the gas pedal, and he cursed under his breath, his jaw tightening. The three-month rule was supposed to keep things grounded, to build something real. But right now, with Sedona looking at him like that, sounding like that, all that logic was quickly flying out the window.

The next red light felt like torture. Sedona took full advantage, her fingers sliding down his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath her palm. Her eyes wandered down to his chain once more, a wicked gleam in her gaze.

Kendrick finally looked at her, his eyes dark and hooded. "You tryin' to make me break our promise tonight?"

She smirked, biting her bottom lip. "Who said I'd hold it against you?"

His resolve was crumbling fast. The light turned green, and he pressed down on the gas a little too hard, the engine roaring as they sped forward. He muttered something under his breath, his voice low and guttural. "You gon' be the death of me."

Sedona leaned back, her eyes still fixed on him, full of mischief and desire. "Only if you're lucky."

Kendrick's grip tightened on the wheel, his mind racing, his body on fire. Tonight was her birthday, and she was making her intentions clear. The rule didn't stand a chance.

The rest of the drive was charged with anticipation, the air thick with tension that neither of them dared to break. Kendrick's jaw was set, his eyes fixed on the road, but his mind was somewhere else—specifically, on the woman next to him who was hell-bent on testing his willpower.

Sedona was relentless, her fingers never leaving his skin, her touch playful yet purposeful. She traced the outline of his chain, her nails lightly dragging along his collarbone, sending chills down his spine. She was close, so close he could feel her breath on his neck.

When they finally pulled up to her place, Kendrick barely had the car in park before Sedona leaned in, her lips brushing his ear as she whispered, "You got the keys right?"

His chest rose and fell, his breathing labored. He turned his head, their faces just inches apart, his eyes dark and intense. "Yeah. You know what's gon' happen if I go inside right?"

She looked up at him through her lashes, her smile sinful. "That's the idea."

His restraint snapped.

In one swift motion, Kendrick unbuckled her seatbelt, his hands firm as they gripped her waist, pulling her into his lap. Sedona's breath hitched, a soft gasp escaping her lips as she straddled him, her dress riding up dangerously high.

Her hands found his face, her thumbs brushing over his cheekbones as she stared at him, her eyes full of want, need, and something else that ran even deeper. She leaned in, her lips hovering over his, just a whisper away. "You don't have to be gentle with me tonight."

That did it.

Kendrick's mouth crashed against hers, his lips demanding, his hands exploring, gripping her waist, sliding up her back. Her fingers ran across his freshly done braids, her body arching into him as she kissed him back with just as much urgency.

His hips shifted beneath her, a low groan vibrating through his chest as he felt her heat pressing down on him. The air between them was heavy, electric, charged with anticipation.

He broke the kiss, his mouth trailing down her neck, his teeth grazing her skin. Sedona's head fell back, a soft moan slipping out before she could stop herself. "Kenny..."

His name on her lips was enough to make him lose all sense of control. "You sure you ready for this?" His voice was low, strained, his eyes searching hers for any sign of hesitation.

Sedona's response was immediate. "I've been ready." Her fingers tugged on his chain, pulling him closer. "Take me inside."

Kendrick didn't need to be told twice.

They stumbled through the door, their hands all over each other, mouths never breaking contact. Shoes were kicked off, jackets tossed aside. By the time they made it to her bedroom, they were both breathless, clothes half-off, eyes locked in a shared understanding.

There was no turning back. The three-month rule was out the window. Tonight, they were giving in to everything they'd been holding back.

Kendrick's hands were gentle but sure as they slid across the zipper of her latex dress, the tight material parting beneath his touch. His lips followed the path his fingers made, slow and deliberate, pressing heat into every newly exposed inch of her skin.

Sedona's breath shuddered, her body arching into him, desperate for more. Her nails bit into his back, pulling him closer, but Kendrick took his time—maddeningly so.

His mouth was everywhere—her neck, her collarbone, the delicate curve of her shoulder. Every kiss was possessive, every touch a silent claim. He was mapping her, memorizing her, making sure she felt every second of this.

Her heart pounded as his lips finally found hers, moving slow and deep, stealing the air from her lungs. He cupped her face, his thumbs stroking along her jaw, his forehead resting against hers as he murmured, "You got me."

The words made her chest tighten, her fingers curling into his shoulders, anchoring herself to him. She pulled him in for another kiss, a clash of tongues and teeth, raw and hungry, neither of them willing to let go.

Then she felt it—the sharp tear of fabric.

She gasped, breaking the kiss just in time to look down and see the damage. That man had ripped her damn dress.

"Kendrick!" She huffed, her disappointment clear. "I liked this dress."

His smirk was pure sin as he trailed his fingers along the ruined fabric. "I'll buy you another one," He murmured, pressing a kiss to her jaw.

Sedona wanted to argue, but then his hands were on her again, his mouth following, and just like that, everything else faded away.

Tonight was hers—every part of it. Every part of him.

As the kiss deepened, Sedona took her time, savoring the way Kendrick responded to her touch. Her hands slid down his chest, fingers tracing the muscles that tensed beneath her palms, feeling every ridge, every dip. She could feel his heart pounding, just as hard and fast as her own, but she wasn't about to let him take control—not this time.

She pulled back slightly, catching his gaze, her lips curving into a slow, knowing smirk. "Relax," She murmured, her voice dripping with confidence. "Let me take my time with you."

Kendrick exhaled sharply, his hands flexing at his sides as if resisting the urge to grab her, to flip the control back in his favor. But he didn't. He let her lead.

Her lips brushed along his jaw, teasing, making him chase the heat of her mouth. She pressed slow, lingering kisses down his neck, pausing to suck lightly at his pulse point, feeling the way his breath hitched.

Then, with deliberate slowness, she began to sink to her knees, her hands trailing over his abs, her nails grazing the deep lines of his stomach. She was in no rush—she wanted him to feel this, to know that she was in charge, that she was the one setting the pace.  For now, of course.

She glanced up at him, her eyes dark with intent. "You good up there?" She teased, her fingers gripping his hips just enough to make him tense.

Kendrick let out a low, shaky chuckle, his head tilting back slightly as he exhaled. "Yeah," He rasped, watching her like she was the only thing that existed. "You just keep proving why I ain't ever letting you go."

Sedona smirked. "Damn right."

Kendrick's breath hitched, his fingers threading through her hair, his grip firm but gentle as he watched her descend. His dark eyes burned with intensity, never leaving hers, the connection between them palpable, electric. "D... what you doin'?" His voice was rough, his accent thick, each word dripping with desire.

She looked up at him through her lashes, her lips curving into a mischievous smile as she pressed a lingering kiss to his abdomen, her tongue flicking out to taste his skin. "I want you, Kenny..." Her voice was soft, breathy, her eyes gleaming with need. "Want all of you."

His jaw clenched, his nostrils flaring as she continued her slow descent, her hands working the button and zipper of his jeans with practiced ease. He sucked in a breath, his head tipping back as she peeled the fabric down his hips, exposing his boxer briefs, the outline of his arousal straining against the soft cotton.

His fingers curled into fists, his muscles tightening as he fought for control. But control was slipping fast. The way she looked at him—hungry, confident, unapologetic—was his undoing.

She felt her mouth water, her pulse quickening as she dragged his boxers down, freeing him completely. Her breath caught, her eyes widening as she took him in—thick and heavy, perfectly curved, his two-toned length standing proudly before her. It was mesmerizing, even more beautiful than she remembered, and she found herself practically salivating, her core clenching with anticipation.

"Damn, baby..." Kendrick's voice was low, reverent, his fingers tightening in her hair as he watched her, his eyes hooded, dark with lust. "You lookin' at me like you wanna eat me alive."

She swallowed hard, her tongue darting out to wet her lips as she met his gaze, her voice a shaky whisper. "Maybe I do..."

He groaned, his hips jerking toward her, his muscles tensing as her hands wrapped around his length, her fingers barely able to close around his girth. She stroked him slowly, her touch light, teasing, her eyes glued to his face, savoring every twitch, every flicker of pleasure that crossed his features.

Sedona licked her lips again, her head dipping as she pressed a soft kiss to his swollen head, her tongue flicking out to taste the drop of pre-cum that glistened there. His flavor exploded on her tongue, salty and intoxicating, and she couldn't help the moan that slipped past her lips, her body trembling with need.

"Shit... D..." Kendrick's voice was strained, his breathing ragged as his fingers tightened in her hair, guiding her closer, encouraging her. "You tryin' to kill me, huh?"

She smiled against his length, her eyes flicking up to meet his as she slowly took him into her mouth, inch by agonizing inch, her lips stretching to accommodate his thickness. He hissed, his body shuddering as she hollowed her cheeks, her tongue swirling around his tip before she sank lower, taking him deeper, her throat relaxing to accept him.

His hips bucked instinctively, a strangled groan escaping as she took him deeper, her nails digging into his thighs. It was too much, too good. She was too good.

His hand moved to cup her face, his thumb stroking her cheek as he watched her, his eyes blazing with intensity, his jaw clenched tight. "Fuck, baby... just like that..." His voice was low, rough, his West Coast drawl even more pronounced as he fought to maintain control. "You look so fuckin' pretty with my dick in your mouth... takin' me so good..."

Sedona's eyes fluttered shut, his words washing over her, fueling her desire as she moved faster, her head bobbing, her hand twisting at his base, working him in perfect rhythm. Beads of saliva slipped uncontrollably from the corners of her mouth, trickling further down his shaft and collecting at his base. Messy, just how she liked it. She could feel him throbbing against her tongue, his muscles tensing, his breathing growing more erratic as she brought him closer to the edge.

His hips bucked, his control slipping as his head fell back, his voice breaking. "Shit... D... I'm... fuck..."

But she didn't stop. She wanted all of him, wanted to taste his release, to feel him come undone for her. Her nails dug into his thighs, her eyes locking with his once more, her gaze fierce, determined. She wanted him to see her, to know exactly who he belonged to.

Kendrick's eyes widened, his entire body going rigid as he finally lost control, his release hitting her tongue in hot, powerful spurts. He groaned, his voice raw, broken as his fingers tangled in her hair, holding her close, his body shuddering with each wave of pleasure.

Sedona didn't flinch, didn't pull away. She took everything he gave her, swallowing greedily, her tongue continuing to work him, milking him dry. When he finally softened in her mouth, his breathing heavy and uneven, she released him with a soft pop, her lips swollen, glistening as she looked up at him, her eyes shining with satisfaction.

Before she could catch her breath, Kendrick's hands were on her, pulling her up, his mouth crashing against hers in a bruising, desperate kiss. His tongue plunged into her mouth, tasting himself on her lips, his growl vibrating against her skin. "You... fuckin'... killin' me..."

She moaned into his mouth, her body molding to his, her fingers tangling in his hair as she kissed him back just as fiercely, her heart pounding, her body aching for more.

Kendrick didn't waste a second. He lifted her effortlessly, his hands gripping her thighs as he carried her onto the bed, his lips never leaving hers. He laid her down gently, his body covering hers, his weight warm and solid, his need palpable.

His eyes were wild, his voice rough as he hovered above her, his thumb brushing her swollen lips. "Tonight's yours, D... every part of it. Every part of me."

Sedona's breath hitched, her heart swelling as she looked up at him, her fingers caressing his face. "Then show me... make me feel it..."

His eyes darkened, his jaw tightening as he captured her lips again, his body pressing into hers, his desire searing, consuming.

And that's how Sedona found herself lying back on the bed, her body a tangled mess of need and warmth as she got lost in the sea that is incomparable pleasure. His hands gripped her thighs with a possessive force, pulling them up and against her chest as his tongue worked in ways only he knew how, bringing her to places she'd only ever reached with him. Every motion was deliberate, skilled—each flick, each touch of his fingers pushing her further, deeper into pleasure.

His strength held her in place, leaving her no space to escape the sensations he stirred in her. His mouth, hot and insistent, tasted her, marked her, as if he couldn't get enough, as if she was the only thing that mattered in that moment.

The pleasure became too much. Her body jerked, squirming away from the relentless skill of Kendrick's tongue, but he was quicker, stronger. His grip tightened on her thighs, keeping her exactly where he wanted her. His large palm landed on the side of her thigh with a sharp smack—not hard enough to hurt, but enough to make her freeze and gasp.

"Where you think you goin', ma?" His voice was low, and husky, as he leaned up, his lips and beard glistening with her essence. His eyes were dark, hungry, full of wicked intent. "Why you runnin' from me? Thought you said you could handle it."

Her whine came out incoherent, the words caught in her throat as his dark, smoldering eyes stayed fixed on her. He towered over her now, his body an imposing figure as he crawled over her, caging her beneath him. His breath was hot against her cheek, and she stared up at him, dazed, her vision swimming with glassy tears of overwhelming bliss.

"Look at you," He murmured, his lips pulling into that half-smile, wet and sinful. His skin gleamed, catching the dim light in a way that made him look almost unreal, too beautiful to belong to one person alone—but he was hers. Completely hers.

"So fuckin' pretty, baby," He praised, brushing a thumb over her cheek to catch a stray tear. "My pretty girl."

Sedona's breath shuddered, her fingers tangling in his chain, pulling him down until his lips were on hers. She tasted herself on his tongue, her moan swallowed by his mouth as his body pressed down, heavy and firm against hers.

His fingers traced her jaw, his touch gentle, reverent. But his eyes were anything but soft. They were dark, heated, burning with a need that mirrored her own.

"You been drivin' me crazy all night," He confessed, his voice dropping to a growl as his mouth moved to her neck, his teeth grazing her skin. "All them looks... the way you kept touchin' me..."

Sedona's nails raked down his back, her hips arching up to meet his. "Needed you," She admitted, her voice breathless, trembling. "Still need you."

A low groan rumbled from his chest, his hand gripping her thigh as he lined himself up with slow precision. "You got me, baby... all of me."

Then he pushed into her, her gasp mixing with his groan as he sank in deep. Her body molded to his, her legs wrapping around his waist, pulling him closer, anchoring him to her.

Kendrick moved with purpose, his rhythm steady, his thrusts slow and deliberate, each one pushing her further to the edge. He watched her, his eyes never leaving her face, captivated by the way her lips parted, the way her eyes fluttered shut, her head falling back as she gave herself to him completely.

"Keep them eyes on me," He ordered, his voice rough, strained. "Wanna see you fall apart."

Her lashes fluttered, her eyes locking with his, her gaze hazy, pupils blown wide. "Kendrick..." His name fell from her lips, a plea, a prayer, a promise.

He rewarded her with a deeper thrust, his chain brushing against her skin, cold against her heated flesh. She shivered, her fingers clutching at his back, her nails leaving marks she knew he'd wear proudly.

"That's it, baby... take it... just like that." His praise was low, his words dripping with need, with possession. "All mine... you hear me? Ain't nobody ever gonna have you like this."

Her body arched, his words igniting something deep within her, the fire consuming her from the inside out. "Yours... all yours," She promised, her voice trembling, raw with emotion.

Kendrick's pace quickened, his control slipping, his body seeking release even as he held her tight, grounding her, keeping her from floating away. "Look at you... takin' me so good... so damn perfect for me."

His grip tightened on her thighs before he moved, flipping her over effortlessly, her body molding to his as he pulled her hips up, her back arching as he took her from behind. His thumbs pressed into her back dimples, anchoring her in place, his fingers splayed across her hips, holding her steady as he drove into her.

Sedona's cry was muffled by the pillow, her hands clutching the sheets as her body trembled under his control. Kendrick's pace was brutal, his hips snapping against her, each thrust deep, deliberate, hitting every spot that made her see stars.

"Don't run from it," He growled, his hand tangling in her hair, yanking her head back as his lips brushed her ear. "You wanted this... asked for it... so take it."

Her body obeyed, moving with him, for him, her back arching, her legs shaking as the pleasure built, coiling tight, ready to snap. He pulled her up by the neck, his grip firm but careful, his other hand slipping around her waist, holding her against his chest as he continued his relentless rhythm.

He kissed her roughly, his tongue claiming her, his teeth sinking into her bottom lip as murmured, "Damn, baby."

Her body tensed, the pleasure coiling tight, winding her up until she thought she might break. "Kenny... I... I can't—"

"Yes, you can," He urged, his forehead pressing against hers, his breath hot, mingling with hers. "I got you, baby... I got you. Let go for me... let me feel it."

His words were her undoing. The coil snapped, the pleasure ripping through her, her back arching off the bed, her cry echoing through the room as her body trembled beneath him. Kendrick's name was a chant on her lips, her nails digging into his shoulders as the waves of ecstasy crashed over her.

But it was far from over.

Kendrick caught Sedona's left ankle within his hand, easing it over his left shoulder until her body was twisted sideways beneath him, her right leg extending between his. It was in moments like this she regretted being so damn flexible—the way her body bent without strain was exactly why she found herself in this predicament, her muscles burning with pleasurable tension.

He sank his right knee and hand into the mattress, his free fingers wrapping tightly around her throat in a firm hold. Their eyes locked, intense and unwavering, as he aligned himself at her entrance. Her walls fluttered in anticipation, already prepared to hug every inch of him as he dropped back inside her with agonizing ease.

Sedona's lips parted, but no sound escaped, her breath stolen by the way he filled her. Her pussy clenched around him, and the rhythm of his chains bouncing against his chest provided a wicked symphony to their union. His hips never faltered, his movements deliberate and precise, each stroke hitting deeper than the last.

The position was sinful, her body arching perfectly beneath his. The sensation was overwhelming, every nerve ignited as he angled just right, pushing her to the edge once more. A shiver ran through her as she shattered around him, her second orgasm crashing over her in waves, her nails digging into his forearm as she rode the high.

"F-Fuck... oh my God... Kenny... shit!" She cried, her voice broken, raw with pleasure. "I... I can't... oh my God, I'm gonna—" Her words cut off into a strangled moan as another wave surged through her, her body arching off the mattress as she clenched around him.

"Yeah, you can. Take it, baby," He growled, his voice heavy and rough. "Cry all you want. You wanted this, right? You asked for it." He never slowed, his dark eyes locked on her, unrelenting. His grip on her neck tightening just enough to make her eyes roll back, her body arching even more as he continued to take her, pushing her beyond her limits. And Sedona loved every second of it.

Her head fell back, tears streaming down her face as her body writhed beneath him. "Oh, fuck... baby, please... oh my God... I... I'm... shit!" Her voice broke, her legs trembling uncontrollably as she came again, the orgasm crashing into her with a force that left her sobbing.

"Yeah... that's it," He taunted, his thrusts deep and punishing. "Let it out. All of it."

Sedona's body convulsed, her cries echoing through the room as she surrendered completely, her tears mingling with the sweat on her flushed skin. She felt like she was falling apart, every nerve alight, every muscle trembling. And Kendrick never let up, his relentless pace dragging her through the peaks and valleys of her climax until she was a sobbing, breathless mess beneath him.

"Fuck... fuck... Kendrick, please... I c-can't..." She whimpered, her voice cracking as another shudder ran through her.

He only smirked, his hand tightening on her throat as his hips rolled into her, deep and deliberate. "Yeah, you can. And you will. Let it go."

He followed her over the edge, his hips stuttering, his body shuddering as he buried himself deep, his groan raw, broken as he found his release. His weight fell on her, heavy and grounding, his face buried in the crook of her neck as he whispered her name like a prayer.

They stayed like that for a while, tangled together, their breaths mingling, hearts pounding in sync. His arm wrapped around her waist, holding her close, his lips pressing soft kisses to her shoulder, her collarbone, her neck.

Sedona's fingers played with his chain, her eyes half-lidded, a soft smile playing on her lips as she whispered, "Took you long enough."

Kendrick chuckled, his chest vibrating against hers. "Keep talkin' slick... I'll show you just how long I can go."

She laughed, the sound light, melodic, filled with contentment. "That a threat or a promise?"

His eyes darkened, his lips brushing over hers. "Both."

"Well, we ain't finished yet." By the time Sedona finally managed to get a lick of sleep, the first rays of the sun were peeking through the window, casting a golden glow over their intertwined, exhausted bodies.

What a great birthday indeed.
