You stared at him in disbelief.

"Why would you want me? I mean, you just met me and I'm not that good. Plus, you already have two..." You trailed off into a mumble.

"Three times the charm!" Zen laughed. You chuckled awkwardly along with him. "No, in all seriousness, I believ you have what it takes to be apart of our team. Obi needs a partner too, so I'm sure he'll be delighted to have you." He smiled. He let out his hand, waiting for you to take it.

"Would you join us, f/n?" He said. You nodded while a small smile crept upon your lips. "I'd love too."

"So, from now on, you and Obi will be working together. Why don't you show her around?" He nodded. "Go on, now." You and Obi both had left. His hands were behind his neck and he crossed them as he walked next to you. "So what would you like to see first? The rooms? Or maybe the herb garden?" You face lit up when he said the herb garden. It reminded you of your mother and her own garden. How she loved to pick the flowers.

Those where the best times.

"I'd love to see the herb garden." He nodded and we both arrived to the large open area of flowers and herbs. Your eyes were glistening and you had soon seen the familiar red-head picking herbs. It looked like she was going to make an ointment.

"Shirayuki!" You yelled optimistically as your arms waved . She turned and smiled towards you. She walked up the steps and said hi to you and Obi.

"Hello Obi, f/n. What brings you here?" She asked. Shirayukis hand went through her red apple hair.

"Ah, the Miss over here is part of our team now. She's my new partner." He smiled while looking at her, his eyes not moving anywhere else.

"That's wonderful! Well I have to go back to work now, so I hope you two have fun. See you!" We both nodded and I looked around at each individual herb. "Ah, these are so rare. This is truly amazing!" I smiled up at Obi and he chuckled at the childish behavior. You blushed while getting up and standing next to him.

"Wanna go talk somewhere? So I can get to know my partner-in-crime!" You laughed while nudging his arm. "More like you are my partner-in-crime." He scoffed while rolling his eyes.

"Sure..." You trailed off. You jumped up to a small balcony not too high up and Obi followed.

"So, what's your favorite color?" You asked with a chuckle. He smiled with his cheek resting on his hand. He laughed aloud. "R-Really? That's the first thing you ask me."

"I'm a curious person! I choose to know." He shook his head side to side. "Red. Not light a bright red, though. A deeper kind of red." You nodded with a small smile.

"What about you?" He asked. "It's f/c. I just think it's such a nice color. Anyways, next question! What's your real name?"

His eyes widen as he faces you. "Excuse me?"

"Look, I've seen you around before and you've always used different names, remember that one expedition that included most hunters?" He smirked with a soft awkward. "Yeah, it is. I'm surprise I don't remember you from that." You shrugged. "I would be surprised if you did."

"Alrighty! Anyways miss, I'm sure Master would like us to do something. Why don't we go and see."

"Aw, but it ended so quickly." He winked. "Two questions a day." You sighed and you both jumped up to the second floor. You knocked onto the large white door and there stood Mitsuhide.

"Ah f/n, Obi, come in!" There sat Zen half awake and half asleep sighing paperwork with his black pen.

"Ah... What brings you here?" He asked with a sheepish smile.

"We were wondering what you wanted us to do? I mean we already went over the castle." You said with a smile.

"Ah... Guard. Castle..." He said while almost falling asleep. Kiki snapped her fingers and he awoken again.

"Well we will be on our way, then." Obi stated. You left and Obi quickly followed. You both jumped onto a tree, looking over the castle in silence. A quick rustle was heard from a tree and you knew that it had to be someone. There was no wind today, and even if there was wind, it definitely doesn't sound like that.

You looked around the tree and an arrow had shot right next to your face.

"Look out Obi!" He quickly jumped off and you frantically looked around. It was only toe first day, and here was already so much commotion?

You spotted the man with black hair. A white mask covered his face, but in the middle there was a blue symbol. It was a gang from north of Clarines. What were the doing all the way down here...?

You jumped from tree to tree, trying to get closer to him. "Obi, quickly!" You yelled. He followed your voice as he ran from below. You took out one of your arrows and quickly shot the man in the leg.

"Sorry!" You whispered. He fell from the tree and you fell with him, but with a more graceful manner. You took the arrow out and flipped him into his side. As you poked him a little bit. "You okay there, champ?"

The man quickly grabbed you by the hair and pulled you down with a knife close to your neck. "You understand that I'm capable to kill you right here, right now?" He whispered harshly.

You sighed. "I'm capable of doing the same thing yo-" A hand grabbed the back of your jacket and pulled you away from him. He punched the man in the face and he went unconscious. "Seriously Miss, you should be more careful." He sighed.

"Pfff, that dude doesn't scare me." You waved your hand while placing the arrow on your back.

"Please, be more careful." You nodded seriously and you both tied the man up and you went to get Zen. Once the two of you returned, there stood Obi against a tree and Zen looked sternly at the man.

"Why are you in this castle?" He shouted. The man had cut clean before even thinking about lying.

"I came for that red hair. She's quite beautiful, don't you think? I could sell her for loads!" He laughed. The three of us looked at him in disgust and we put him into the jail sell. "Shirayuki must be very popular around here." Obi nodded, not really paying attention to her.

"Did you hear? We'll be going on a trip next a nearby country." You shook your head no. "We're going to Tanbarun." You eyes widened with excitement. "How exciting! I've never been out of the country before. I wonder what we're doing..." He shrugged.

"We're most likely going to be protecting the prince and Mistress." Your head went to the side with a sly smile. "You have another miss too? Who's the lady?" You laughed.

"Shirayuki." He replied. You nodded, looking back out into the sky.

"Nice to meet you, Parter." You said out of the blue. Paying him on the back.

"Same here." He smiled.

Currently jumping off a cliff because I legit wasted about 5 hours on the plane back to Ireland WRITING THIS FANFICTION I WAS HOOKED OK.
guys it has such a good plot I'm gonna scream the books that I work so hard on get the least amount of reads and the ones I work the least amount on iT GETS THE MOST?
