Prologue

Families sat in their living rooms with their televisions on, watching the live footage of the British taskforce landing on the Falklands and reclaiming what they thought was theirs. Others sat outside, basking in the warmth of the sun with their radio's switched to the local news channel to listen to the hosts talk about the events going on in the south pacific. How little do they know.

In the multiple radar stations around the island, there would be guards keeping watch for any suspicious activity because of the multiple air forces that are a threat to the people of the country, however, they're stationed many miles away from the action whilst defending the core of it.

In town centres, people would crowd around and watch a projected image of what's going on, much like what the people who are sitting in their living rooms, watching carefully whilst being anxious and excited. There would, of course, be some people who would be panicking about the innocent people on the Falklands who could be in grave danger. This was a direct cause of people simply wanting to watch what is going on.

After a few hours of waiting, across the nation, a loud roar could be heard as the Argentinian troops which were defending their islands have finally withdrawn, hopefully to be never seen again by British eyes as a British blockade moves into place, slap bang on in the middle of the wide straight between the islands, stopping any troops from retreating.

The men and women in the radar centres are still on their watch, especially from the southeast as some have their doubts about this tactical approach to reclaiming islands.

The people of the nation start singing their beloved national anthem, the Welsh, the Scottish and the English national anthems, all singing to their best, drunken quality as the pubs are now filled with celebrators.

In the Falklands, the action, the British soldiers advance forward to start flanking the enemy, attempting to mow them down before they can react. They push onward through the desolate shrub and bare meadows, being cautious just in case anyone is to attack from behind or is planning an ambush.

Behind the British blockade, some 10 ships, 5 battleships, 2 destroyers and 3 frigates are lining up their shots at the British Navy, directly. The origin of these ships is unknown. The British admiral and his captains and their lieutenants look at the naval fleet. A distress signal is aired to Ascension; the task force base. Jets and bombers are scrambled but can they make it in time?

The new uprising is kept hidden from the public as they continue to partying, mindlessly, drunkenly.

In fact, the entire RAF is scrambled to try and take on the air-naval battle against what seemed to be were the Argentinian Navy coming to rescue the troops who are stuck on the island.

The British troops are commanded to run, sprint to the enemy to try and get them before they get the British. They fail... The entire British regiment whom were situated on the island has been slain, the Argentinian army sought it fit to take their moment of weakness before mowing them down..

The now weaker British was in panic, the navy had a choice, surrender and give up the war or battle both the army and the strange navy.

As Britain was even weaker, even in their own territory; their home. The soviets, what's left of them, scrambled their own air force and their navy to now invade the island, make Britain communist. A strong foot-hold in the conquest of the world.

Now, with the British radars trained on the South-West, no one had their eyes on the East, where quite literally, a storm was coming, a red storm...

((Please tell me if I've been a little insensitive with this one, I know that the 1980's and the Falklands war was a very traumatising time so I do understand if anyone finds this offensive and if you do so wish, I will take this story down.)
