Red was originally born a pure white wolf with blue eyes but around a young age possibly one or two his father died after hunting and killing an elk a hunter shot him his mother ran back to protect red she was killed by the hunter the bullet causing reds front right paw to become blood red before the hunter shot red a large wolf with a grey stripe going from it's forehead along it's back killed the hunter and took red in the wolf was named jaq
