Vermilion City. Home to the hospital that held his sister. He kept his head down as he went to the hospital and entered, instantly getting pointed to the room. He paused as he neared it. A male grunt under the guise of an officer beside it nodded to him as he entered, the female with the same guise that had replaced Verde instantly standing up and saluting him.

"Sir." He nodded to her as he went to the other side.

"How is she?" She purred.

"Doctor's have claimed she is slowly responding. From what Verde said, she recently woke up and responded. She did the same yesterday... it seems to be a pattern and we're nearing the time."

He hummed as he sat down, lightly gripping the smaller girl's hand. The grunt stepped out as her eyes fluttered open. He took off his hat, letting his voice dance across the air.

"Amber...?" Her eyes drifted to him before she smiled.

"Big brother..." He smiled as he gently brought her hand to his cheek to better control his tears.

"Sis..." She gently rubbed his cheek as he purred.

"You came to see me... how've you been?" He smiled.

"Busy... A new admin is on the front lines and I'm slowly tearing down Kanto." She smiled softly.

"I wish I could join... join you in tearing down those that did this..." Red pressed his forehead against hers as her voice went soft. I want to stay with you-"

"I know... I'll save you... I'll tear down Kanto and rebuild it for you. Stay strong..." He felt her hand go limp in his hands as he held the tears back from touching her face. He pulled away as he let her rest. "I'll save you, Amber. Even if the world has to die for it."

He couldn't recover right away from the scene, so he went to the center instead of the gym. Leaf and Blue went over as he rested against Persian, trying to calm down. Leaf winced.

"Red?" He raised his head slightly, tears still coating his face from before. Persian licked his face a little while Blue pulled him into a hug.

"What's wrong?" Red didn't answer as the reminder of what happened burned in his mind. He simply let them continue attempting to calm him down, the rage boiling at this point.
