Chapter 66

Chapter 66

"Where next?" The driver asked as I got back inside the car.

I brushed my fingers across my cheeks and said, "Drive. I'll tell you where to stop." I knew where I could find Lisa. She couldn't run away from me. I knew what was she was thinking, what she was doing and where she was hiding.

She wasn't going to live a peaceful, lovely life after killing my Nana and hurting Luciano. She should've known better than to trouble me. The driver took the road to the center of the town. Lisa's parents house was just a couple minutes away from mine and her parents weren't in town, they had been away, in Cali since Luciano send them.

And I knew for a fact that Lisa would try and come here to live her own beautiful, married life while trying to ruin mine.

"Stop by the white house." I said.

"Here?" The driver asked, parking outside Lisa's house.

There was a car by the driveway and it wasn't here parents which meant they were here and I was absolutely right.

"Yes." I opened the door and stepped out. "Don't come in, even if you hear screams." I told the driver. I didn't want to cause any harm to him and it was going to get dirty inside.

"Noted, Ms. Red."

I bought nothing with me, not even a knife to slaughter that bitch. My magic was far more than enough to end her and my wolf was powerful than ever after sniffing on vervain with Luciano.

I didn't bother with ringing the bell, instead, I went straight in through the door, breaking it with a kick. It was dark and empty in the hallway but there was a golden light that shone upstairs.

"Lisa? Look who's here—" I yelled, "—your amazing best friend!" I fondled with a bit of magic in my hand, waiting to strike at anyone who was going to try to hurt me.

Lisa stepped out from the kitchen with her eyes wide in shock and her lips parted. She was surprised to see me.

"Great. You're here." My lips curled into a smile as I turned around to her. "Where is Damon?"

She opened her mouth to speak but she was cut off by Damon who appeared behind me. "I'm here." A chill went down my body and I looked back to find him coming down the stairs. "Inceptic—"

"Inceptictum," I lashed my hand in the air, quicker than him and threw him to the ground. I knew when someone was going to attack me. "Where are the dead witches?" I asked, taking one step up the stairs.

Damon groaned while laughing. He held his stomach and sat up by the wall. "And why would I tell you that?"

Lisa paced behind, I smelled her fear and the second I turned around, I found a kitchen knife in her hands, aiming towards my throat. I grabbed her wrist and pushed her front of me while holding the knife close to her own throat. Her heart raced and she let out a small scream in fear.

There wasn't any hesitation in her when she was trying to kill me and I wasn't going to feel it either.

"Tell me or I'll kill her." I threatened Damon who suddenly turned serious when I poked the tip of the knife to her throat.

Damon stood up, brushing dust from his clothes. "You wouldn't do that." He shot a smile at my direction as if he was in my head, hearing my thoughts and plans.

I skillfully pushed the knife deeper by her flesh, drawing out blood and she hissed in pain. "Trust me, I would, without a second thought." I replied, my emotions stiff.

I couldn't think about anything else when I felt the pain of Luciano inside me. My confidence swelled up and anger throbbed in my veins. I wasn't going to leave without nothing.

I needed to know where the witches were buried.

Silence filled the air. Lisa took a sharp breath underneath me and tried to run away but I held her in place, in my hold. Her nails pierced into my arms and she groaned.

I kept my eyes on Damon. He had no ounce of emotion on his face. "I promise, I will kill her." I whispered, splitting the silence and pressing the blade closer to her neck. One strike and she'd be dead like those witches were.

Damon skittered around the stairs, his eyes on the ceiling while he acted like as if he was thinking, making a decision. His hands snaked behind, holding one and other before he stopped and turned to me.

"Then do."

"Damon!" Lisa cried, leaping for him.

My thoughts clouded. We were all right about something and it was the fact that Damon only used Lisa for the purpose of getting to me and Luciano. The marriage was a front so he could enter our world and take revenge over something neither of us knew.

I briefly glanced at him, his smile gleamed with evil and he didn't dare batting an eye at the woman he so claimed to love.

"No, no—"

I swept the blade across her neck and took Lisa's life. Her blood flowed and splattered to my hand and she fell on the ground with a thud, no longer alive or breathing. My ego and my anger filtered in my head, taking control of my thoughts.

I didn't weep about killing my own best friend and neither felt anything towards her. Maybe it was the betrayal or maybe I was just cold to losing people those who were close to me.

I wrapped my fingers around the knife tightly and stepped away from her body. Damon had a face of shock, there was a little emotion brightening his features. He took a step back, still on the stairs.

"I could kill anyone, anytime so, tell me where the witches are buried or I'll put you down with your Mother." I stated, the knife dangling from my hand as I lowered it down.

"Mystiferio!" A ball of misery flung from his palm, directing towards me.

"Sileus," I broke the spell from attacking me and the second I did, my phone buzzed inside my pants. Holding my hand in the air, I pulled out my phone and quickly checked it.

It was Anna.

Dillion's hurt. This is getting out of control. Did you find where the witches are? I don't think so this is going to last for long. Luciano's awake.

A powerful energy of violence found me and I turned my head at Damon, seeing all red and death.

"Tell me where the witches are." I repeated, taking a step upstairs while my teeth gritted against each other.

"Go dream. Luciano's going to be dead before the night ends and so will be everyone surrounding him," He chuckled, moving back. "How would it feel if you lost everything in a snap of a second?"

I gritted my teeth together and lashed my hand in the air, "Inceptictum." The spell sent Damon over the stairs and onto the second floor of the house where I dashed towards. "I killed Gretel. What makes you think I wouldn't kill you? All you have to tell me is where the witches are and you are free. I don't know what kind of grudge you have against me but it's going to be over tonight."

I feared marking my soul with a death of someone else then Lisa. I had already killed one.

"We will see about that," He took a sharp breath and continued, "Scoreris Torcherio."

An ear-slipping howl of pain escaped my mouth and I fell on my knees. My wolf screamed as I felt my skin ripping into pieces. I pressed my hands against the ground and hair fell over my face while my heart twisted.

"Oh, is that your wolf? Seems like someone is going to die." Damon taunted, standing above me while I split into shreds from within.
