Six- Lovers

In which things get a little rated. And there are some quality rants.

Nat gasped, Tolly kissing his neck. The boy's lips were soft against his skin, and slightly cold.
"Tolly?" He asked quietly.

"Yeah?" Tolly asked, raising his head to look at Nat. "You okay?" Nat nodded his head, motioning for Tolly to continue.

"Sorry." He whispered, and he could feel Tolly smile as he kissed Nat's collarbone, marking him.

Tolly continued, as if trying to cover Nat's entire chest, before his teeth were sinking into Nat's skin, but the boy didn't cry out.
Tolly pulled away suddenly, raising himself off of Nat, rolling over and avoiding his eyes. "Sorry." He whispered. "I lost control."

"I didn't mind." Nat shrugged, ignoring his bleeding chest and leaning down to kiss Tolly.
Tolly pulled him closer, a thumb wiping away the blood.

"I'd better make dinner." Tolly sighed. "Pasta sound good?"

"Sounds amazing." Nat smiled. "But maybe in a bit?"

"Love to delay." Tolly whispered. "But it's best you don't meet my mom." He stood up, and pulled on a shirt. "C'mon."

"What's so wrong with her?" Nat asked as the water boiled.

Tolly tested the tomato sauce. "Think of everythin' ya stand against and you've probably gotten it abou' right." He grimaced. "Can I have th' pepper? Thanks. She's homophobic, transphobic, blood addicted, everything I hate. This taste okay t' you?"

Nat nodded. "Pretty good. You want me to put the pasta in?"

"Thanks." Tolly smiled. "We make quite a team."

"Sure do." Nat smiled, leaning over to kiss him lightly. In that moment, standing in the kitchen with Tolly waiting for the pasta to cook, he could pretend that he was any other regular kid. And he loved it.

The next day during computer science, however, Tolly was completely changed. He was cold towards Nat, and the younger boy didn't catch a single glimpse of his amazing smile.

When Karlo went to find his brother during a free, he instantly knew something was wrong.
"What happened?" He asked, sitting on Tolly's desk.

Tolly looked at him, and to Karlo's surprise, broke down. "She- she-" he took a breath. "She could smell him on me. Not him in particular, but that it was a him, and she said-"

"I know what she would have said." Karlo said. "Come here." Tolly bent down, and hugged him, and Karlo hugged back tightly. "It's okay. You can stay with us."

"I can't." Tolly muttered. "You know that. I'm on my own."

"You're never on your own." Karlo muttered. "You've got Hal and me and Nat. Hal's home soon, right?"

"Yeah." He paused. "I don't have Nat." Tolly whispered, straightening his back and leaning against the opposite wall of the small space.

"What do you mean?" Karlo asked.

"I've got to end it." Tolly muttered. "She'll kill him, and that's the best case scenario."

"Tolly." Karlo looked at him straight on. "You never give up. Don't start now. You seem to really care about him."

"Too much." Tolly agreed.

"Then don't let him go." Karlo said.

"You don't get it." Tolly shrugged. "Mom will kill him, the authorities will chew us up, lords know what will happen to him."

"I thought you said it was legal?" Karlo asked sharply.

"It is, but only in New Jersey and New Hampshire. So people don't see it as legal. So they'll put us though hell anyways. And there's other things you don't know about as well which put more pressure on me and I don't know anymore!" Tolly was shaking, and for the first time Karlo was almost scared of him.

"Tolly. Calm down. It'll be okay." He whispered.

"Easy for you to say!" Tolly spat. "You've got your nice easy relationship and supportive parents and you've never had to fight-" Tolly stopped. "Sorry." He muttered. "You deserve to have it easy now. I didn't mean-"

"Save it." Karlo hissed, stalking out of the office.

"Karlo!" Tolly called after him, but the boy ignored him. "Fuck." Tolly muttered, closing his office door and sliding down it to sit on the floor, his head in his hands.

Karlo stomped into the music room, silently burying his head into Ally's shoulder. "What's up?" Ally asked, perched on a table, feeling the smaller boy shaking. "Are you crying?" Karlo nodded slightly.
Ally enveloped Karlo in a hug. "It's okay." He muttered, tracing circles on Karlo's back. "What happened?"
Karlo shook his head. Ally hugged him tighter. "Hey. It's okay." He paused. "Karl-o?"

"Al-ly?" Karlo smiled.

"You're okay." Ally smiled. "Okay? You've still got your humour, and I love that about you. Never ever stop laughing. Okay?"

"Okay." Karlo whispered.

The door creaked open behind them. "Not a good time, Xander." Ally said, without turning around.

"Right. I'll go then." Nat spoke up.

"No!" Karlo looked up, his face streaked with tears. "Nat- just talk to him, will you?" He asked.

"Why." Nat hissed.

"Because he's angry at himself. Angry enough to lash out, and he never does that." Karlo muttered. "Just go talk to him?"

Nat looked at the tears on the younger boy's face, at Ally's arm holding Karlo tightly to him. "I'll talk to him alright." He growled, stalking out of the room.
He slammed into Tolly's office, not even bothering to knock.
"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!" He found himself shouting, unable to stop seeing red, however much he tried. He knew what could happen if he got too angry, knew that he was unsafe, but didn't care. "So you're pissed with me. Fine. I can take it. But don't take it out on Karlo."

"I didn't-" Tolly started.

"YES YOU DID!" Nat shouted. "At the end of the day, family is all you have. So don't fucking make them cry! You don't know how lucky you are to have a family, I don't care if it's not exactly what you want but it's better than no one at all! You can ignore me however much you like, hate me, and I won't care. Just don't let your issues with me out on your brother."

He turned to leave, but Tolly spoke up. "I don' have issues with ya." He whispered. "If I did then this all would be easier." He stopped.

"All what?" Nat asked, exasperated.

"She knows. Lords know wha' she'll do if we continue." Tolly whispered. "Sorry tha' I'm not brave enough t' stand up for myself." He stopped. "A mother tha' hates everything I stand for isn't a family. Nor is a father who walked out rather than reason wi' her."

Nat snorted. "Still more than what I got."

"You've got parents tha' want ya." Tolly countered. "Even though you're not theirs, they want ya. Tha' counts for a lot."

Nat shrugged, rubbing his shoulder subconsciously. "Go apologise to Karlo." He said quietly.

"I'll give him time." Tolly muttered.

They sat in silence for a while. "They didn't want me." Nat muttered quietly. "My first foster family. They could put two and two together and they didn't want the monster they knew I was - I am."

"You're no' a monster." Tolly muttered.

Nat laughed dryly. "If only you knew."

"Then why don' ya tell me?" Tolly countered.

"Oh, what the hell." Nat shrugged, opening his mouth to speak. "I- I- god, I can't."

"That's okay." Tolly muttered, smiling slightly.

"I- I killed someone." Nat hissed. "It's not okay."

"Did ya mean t'?" Tolly asked.

"Of course not!" Nat whispered.

"Then yes, it's ok." He paused, looking at the tears slowly seeping out of Nat's eyes. "Hey. Nat. It's lunchtime now, want t' go somewhere?"

"I doubt you want to." Nat retorted.

"I'd go anywhere if it were with ya." Tolly smiled sadly.

Nat looked at him. "I want to go home." He whispered. "Are you busy this afternoon?"

Tolly shook his head. "Ya want me t' take ya?" Nat nodded. "Ya could always take th' bus, ya know. Cheapskate." Tolly smiled.

"I'll repay you." Nat smiled, kissing him lightly. He pulled himself away suddenly. "Sorry. Don't want you to get into shit."

"Should be fine so long as I leave a bi' o' time." Tolly smiled, kissing Nat properly.

It wasn't long before they were roaring away from the school, Nat once again wearing Tolly's helmet at the older boy's insistence.

"So, repay me, huh?" Tolly smiled, his eyes sparkling, once Nat had let them into the large empty house.

"Yeah, what type of pizza do you want?" Nat asked, heading towards the kitchen.

Tolly followed him. "Err.."

"Jus' joking." Nat smiled, pushing him against the wall and kissing him. "But also, pick a pizza."

"Pepperoni?" Tolly squeaked. Nat laughed at him, not unkindly, and before Tolly could offer to help do something, they were kissing, Tolly desperately trying to restrain himself. He could hear the blood in Nat's veins, smell it, almost taste it. Nat's blood tasted like nothing he'd ever had before. He needed to taste it again.

He was aware of Nat groaning slightly, pulling their bodies closer together whilst Tolly sucked on his collar bone.
With a lot of effort, he pulled away.
"Why didn't you stop me?" He asked.

Nat shrugged. "You enjoy it."

"But surely it hurts you?" Tolly asked caringly.

"I deserve the pain." Nat muttered, leaning forward to kiss him again.

Tolly forced himself to stop kissing the amazing boy in his arms. "You don't deserve any sort of pain." He whispered. "What happened?"

"Are you sure you want to know?" Nat asked.

"Would it be a turn off?" Tolly smiled.

Nat raised an eyebrow. "Probably."

"Then tell me over pizza." Tolly offered. "But first-" he smiled wickedly.

Nat grinned. "Good idea." He muttered, pulling Tolly upstairs. "So, how do you want to do this?" He asked.

"However you want." Tolly smiled, kissing him deeply as they tumbled onto Nat's bed, a mass of exploring hands and removing clothes. Driven by love and lust, by the need to be close to each other. To belong to the other. Tolly's hands ran over skin and bandages alike, as he went about kissing and biting at exposed skin, his ears filled with Nat's moans, his mouth with the boy's blood. They were committing each other to memory, inexplicably drawn to the other, hungrily kissing, fuelled by cravings and burning desire.

"Tolly.." Nat whispered, and Tolly smirked, driving Nat near insanity.

The warmth radiating off of Nat's body made Tolly want to, if possible, get even closer. He was too hungry to stop himself from hurting Nat, yet the boy didn't complain. Instead, he smiled, and kissed Tolly back, fighting him for control, unbuttoning his shirt and undoing his belt without seeming to even pay attention to what his hands were doing.

"Are you sure?" Tolly whispered.

"Never been so sure." Nat muttered in response, smiling. He ached with desire and desperation, and Tolly could smell it on his blood. Then Nat was kissing him again, and he forgot how to even breathe.
Skin on skin, love and passion colliding, both boys smiling at each other, ecstasy in their eyes. Their facial expressions. Their movements.
Together, they were complete.
All worries were forgotten, and in that moment, they were healed.

Hehehe what.
But honestly, thanks for your help on this one mate. -C
