This writing contest challenges writers to use at least three things from Danganronpa. That could be plot, characters, setting, or something else entirely! Be creative!

♥No stealing other people's work! This includes writing, cover art, etc. It's okay to use something that's not yours as long as you specify it's not yours. It's preferred you credit the creator, but I know that can be really difficult so it's not required.

♥Using outside prompts are okay! Sometimes getting started on your own is too difficult.

♥Word count must be 1,000-3,000 words. I want the stories to have some meat to them, but I don't want them super long!

♥You can use more than three things from Danganronpa! It's only a minimum to use three. You can also include your own characters, setting- whatever you want, as long as the requirements are met.

♥Please include the word count at the bottom of your story along with the three things you used from Danganronpa {if you used more you only have to list at least three, but you have to specify you used more}

♥All submissions must be in by September 10, 2020 following the guidelines of the submissions page or they will NOT be accepted!

♥You can do collabs with other people! Just make sure each person specifies in their story it was a collab and who it was with. If collab entries win I will reward all parties involved.

♥The account the story is submitted on is the account that will be rewarded!

♥You can make a new book for your entry or simply tag it onto an existing book {more instructions on the submissions page} but the whole story MUST be in one story part. If it's divided into two or more chapters I'm only reading and judging the first one.

♥More rules can be added any time at my discretion {to bash loopholes, answer questions, etc.}. I will do my best to notify people if this happens.

Judging Criteria

♥Followed rules: 50 points
♥Plot: 15 points
♥Characters: 10 points
♥Creativity: 10 points
♥Setting: 5 points
♥Style: 5 points
♥Grammar: 5 points
♥Total points possible: 100

♥The points displayed are perfect scores. Each category starts off at a perfect score and points are removed when necessary. Categories cannot go into the negatives, meaning the lowest possible score is 0.
♥Each rule broken is -20 points
♥Having a poorly written plot {either overall or a poor event choice} will remove points based on how bad it is. If major plot hole is left, it could be a -7 while a minor quirk could just be a -2.
♥The same general rules for plot apply to characters, creativity, and setting.
♥Style is judged overall and includes things such as considering if you used a good choice of vocabulary, used good sentence structure, and minor grammar things that are more stylistic such as commas and semi colons. However, if you do something incorrectly it could instead hurt your grammar category.
♥Every grammar mistake, major or minor, is -1. This includes spelling mistakes, capitalization issues, run-on sentences, etc.
