Your Faithful Servant [Izuru Kamukura] {AU} PT 3
Yes, this has a part three. There's probably going to be a part four and five, I don't know yet.
Anyways, it's like near midnight, and I'm going to type this on my phone instead of my laptop since it's quieter. Plus, my parents are literally sleeping in the room across from mine.
[Edit: I finished typing this on my phone in the morning]
DON'T MIND THE MISTAKES!
Happy reading!
Izuru's POV
[Flashback]
(Same one that Y/N had)
I stared at my tray, hoping that no one would notice the extra food sitting on it. If they knew, it was a possibility that my reputation would be ruined!
"Izu~ I'm going to sit over there, so don't be too long! Upupupu~" Junko, my "girlfriend" giggled.
I simply rolled my eyes and then started to grab an extra can of soda when someone called out to me.
"Yo, Izuru! Wanna hang with us?"
My bored eyes glanced over to Hajime Hinata and his boyfriend, Nagito Komaeda.
Komaeda was on Hinata's back, taking advantage of him and receiving a piggy-back ride.
'How cute... I wish Y/N and I could be like that...'
The instant I registered what I thought, I immediately shook out the thought.
'I shouldn't be thinking of that damned brat. She's leaving me for one grade higher anyways...'
"No, I have something else to do rather than hang out with your gay asses." I muttered coldly. (Don't get me wrong, I support the LGBT community with all my heart!)
"Alright then! See ya later!" Hinata waved while running off.
"Imbeciles." I murmured while rolling my eyes.
I quickly headed to the table that Y/N was at to find it completely empty.
"Huh?"
I looked down at the floor and saw an origami boat with some writing on the side.
'Please let me and Izuru be friends again...'
My eyes widened a fraction slightly. A bit of sympathy washed over me, so I grabbed the F/F and wrapped it in a napkin.
I then sat next to Junko as she started rambling about her fantasies of plunging the world in despair.
I, of course, ignored the whole conversation and started thinking and delving deeper and deeper into my wave of thoughts.
'It's my birthday in two weeks. I wonder what Junko will get me. I don't think Y/N will get me anything though considering the fact I was so rude to her.
The weird thing is, she only has an apple for lunch. I wonder why she didn't buy anything else.
Was she really that broke?'
My heart tightened a bit, thinking and imagining Y/N sitting on a street curb in her school uniform begging for extra money.
Maybe being a maid didn't pay off the bills very well... Either way, there was no doubt that I wasn't going to receive anything from her.
Even if I do, she'd probably give me some cheap-ass pen from the dollar store.
Of course, I would be thrilled because it was a gift from her. It's the thought that counts...
As soon as lunch ended, I walked straight to her locker and placed the food in there with a little message.
'Hungry?
-Izuru Kamukura'
I smiled to myself and closed her locker. Of course, her locker code was easy. It was four digits, and she set it as her birthday.
'Idiot.'
But when I saw her open her locker, her eyes watered, and she threw the food into a nearby trash can.
At that moment, I noticed the cuts on her wrist.
[Two Weeks Later]
Everyone was smiling at me. Some wished me a happy birthday while others showered me with gifts.
Well, all the gifts were from girls...
I stared at the stuffed bear that Junko gave me and smiled a bit.
One side was black and the other was white. She told me it had represented Yin and Yang. She told me, much to my dismay and cringe, that I was the Yin who made a bit of light in her Yang. Yes, I know. It sounds dirty.
When I approached my locker, Y/N was standing at hers which was conveniently two lockers away from mine.
In her mouth was a piece of bread with some peanut butter smeared on it.
'At least she got something that'll help satisfy her stomach.'
When I approached, she turned over to me, her hands behind her back.
I wasn't sure if she was mad at me or not, considering that she threw away the food that I gave her.
I also turned to face her, expectant of her to pull out a pen or a stylized paper clip while saying "happy birthday, Kamu!".
My eyes soon fixated on her, and I was shocked. It's only been two weeks, but there were major changes about her.
Maybe being a maid who works pain-staking hours everyday has its benefits.
"Izuru..." She started.
"Yes?"
She gave me a sweet smile before pulling out two slips of paper.
"Really? Two pieces of paper? The least your poor ass could've gotten be was a paper clip." I snarled while snatching the papers.
I glanced over it, and my eyes widened.
"This... This is..." I stuttered.
"Yes, the pregnancy test was positive. You're pregnant, Izuru." She stated.
(Y'all know I'm joking! Back to the story!)
"I knew Ibuki Mioda was your favorite artist, so I managed to get some tickets after they announced that the show was sold out." She states looking away, tears already brimming. "I got two for us to go together, but it's better for you to go with Junko-sama, right?"
I stood there, absolutely speechless. I've been trying to get these tickets for Ibuki's show for months. And here they are now, in my hands.
"Y/N, I-"
"I'm sorry for being such an annoyance... Happy birthday, Kamu...!" She smiled.
'Fake... That fake smile... pains me so much...'
Her smile soon faded, and I could see her eyes glistening a bit.
Her feet soon started to move, and before I could reach out to her, she was gone. I clenched the tickets in my hands and thought about how caring Y/N was.
'The poor girl was spoiled by rumors...'
Considering her debt, I would've never thought that she would get this. These tickets were expensive...
A sudden realization crossed my mind.
'She must've worked her ass off... No wonder she looked too pale, thin, and worn out...'
Soon, guilt washed over me.
"O-Oi! Y/N! Wait!" I yelled.
I ran around through the hallways, searching for her. I checked every single classroom and knocked on the girls' restroom.
'No luck...'
My mind then traveled to the last place where I thought she'd be.
'She has to be there!'
My footsteps slammed on the stairs up to the roof. As I threw the doors open, I was greeted with a cold gust of wind.
My eyes landed on a H/C-haired girl that I was always proud to call my best friend. Well, used to...
"Y-Y/N..!" I called out to her. To my dismay, she didn't turn around or even acknowledge my presence.
I stepped a bit closer, but her voice stopped me.
"Leave me alone, you damned traitor."
"What?" I asked, not familiar with that tone of voice coming from her.
"I hope you have a good birthday. Hope those six years of friendship can just rot and die already. I can't deal with it anymore, Izuru." She turned towards me, her face occupied with a scowl. "Kamu, I hate you."
I stood there, frozen at what my ears were hearing.
During that time where I was trying to analyze the information that was new to me, she left me... Alone...
Tears spilled out of my eyes, and I dropped down onto the ground, shielding my head in my arms.
I sobbed, and I mumbled the first thing that came into my mind.
"I'm so sorry, Y-Y/N... Please... f-forgive me..! I-I love you..."
[Flashback End]
I sighed, completely bored out of my mind. Before I could become a junior in high school, it was confirmed that my 'missing' father was the prime minister of Japan.
They have been trying to find the heir for at least a decade, and they finally found his son: me.
I was, of course, taken away from my old school, and I was currently sitting in my own office in my dad's building.
My mind drifted back to Y/N. We had made up after my birthday incident, but what happened after that was plain horrible.
And it was my fault.
On last day of school, my dad arrived in a helicopter to the school, getting ready to pick me up for my new life.
I hugged my classmates and waved at those I didn't know.
My eyes scanned the crowd for a certain girl that I had known for so long.
She had forgiven me after ignoring her and ridiculing her along with other students. She said she understood. My heart still aches because of that.
Soon, Y/N appeared from the crowd, tears running down her cheeks.
"Please... Don't go..!"
I narrowed my eyes at her, disgusted by how selfish she was.
"And why not?" I responded rather snootily.
"I-I'll miss you! You... You were my only real friend! Please, Izuru!" She cried.
I crossed my arms, sending a glare in her direction.
'What am I doing?'
"You can take care of yourself, you little helpless twat."
'Stop it... Before you hurt her...'
"Izuru..." She sniffled.
"I don't care about you, just go back to living your pathetic life."
'You're breaking her...'
She wiped her tears and nodded. A genuine smile soon showed on her face.
"Can... Can I at least get a hug before you leave..?"
'Hug her; it may be the last time you'll hold her... Nonetheless touch her...'
"Hmph!" Without even complying to her last wish, I turned on my heel and stepped up onto the helicopter.
What I did next made me sick at myself.
"Goodbye my dear classmates! I love you all, especially you, Junko-chan! Thank you for being a good best friend and girlfriend!"
As I stepped into the helicopter, I turned around and faced my first love.
She ran away, and even from a mile away, I could hear her sobs floating through the wind.
